Dawn's POV

I opened my eyes and saw two boys standing over me. I kicked one of the guys in the gut. He fell to his knees. I stood up and tried to run but the other guy that stood over me lightly pulled me close to him.

??: hey it's ok we won't hurt you, we just want to help you"

: who are you?"

??: my name is Yin, and the one you kicked in the gut is my friend, Zane"

: I'm sorry Zane"

Zane: It's ok... I had worst"

Yin: can I ask who you are?"

: Dawn"

Yin: follow us miss Dawn to Lunar City"

I was about to walk away from Yin but my legs gave in. Yin caught me.

Yin: here let me help you there if you want you can ride on my back until we get to Lunar"

: are you sure?"

Yin: yes"

I got on Yin's back. He was stronger than he looked. We started to walk to a small village. They were a lot of problems. I saw a lot of small houses.

Yin: sorry for the small house, there is a bigger house but it's for the guards like me and Zane"

: It's ok."

Zane: do you want to rest at our place or a house of your own until we can build you one?"

: a house of my own"

Yin: ok, tell me which one you would like"

I pointed to the small house near the second farm. Yin took me to the house and opened the door.

Yin: if you need anything please come find me or Zane"

: I will"

I got down from Yin's back and laid on the bed. Yin smiled and closed the door behind him.

Yin's POV

I went back to my place and saw Zane standing near the door.

Zane: Is she ok?"

: resting"

Zane: that's good. She looked like she got into a fight with someone or something"

: I was thinking the same thing"

Zane: we should keep an eye on her"

: Good idea, do you want night or day stuff?"

Zane: night"

: ok I will take Day stuff until we get more guards here"

Zane: maybe I can speak with my brothers about joining Lunar city"

: you have spoken of your brothers before"

Zane: I have two brothers"

3 hours later

I was walking around the village when I saw Dawn working on one of the farmers.

: I thought you were resting"

Dawn: I was but I can't stop thinking about what happened to me before you and Zane found me in the woods"

: oh..."

Dawn: I can't help but feel an energy wave"

: That might be me... I have the powers of soul creature and I can shift into a nightmare creature when I'm mad"

Dawn's POV

: can I see your form?"

Yin: promise you won't get scared"

: I promise"

Yin shifted into his soul creature it was black and red. His eyes were white.

: Yin is that you?"

The soul got closer to me and nodded. I reached out my hand to touch Yin.

I lightly placed my hand on his head and felt his powers.

Yin: I'm sorry if I'm scaring you with my powers, I don't mean too"

: no, it's ok. I think your form is really cool"

Yin: thanks"

Yin hugged me. I hugged him back, his wings were wrapped around me.

Zane: YIN! YOU TOLD ME YOU WOULD NEVER SHOW THAT FORM TO ANYONE!"

Yin: oops"

Yin shifted out of his form. Zane walked over to us.

Zane: since he told you about his form... I have powers too, my powers is the jury of the nine"

: wow".

Zane: I can show you my form if you want to see it"

: yes please"

Zane went into his jury of the nine form. There was a black cross on his chest, He was holding a black sword, his right was still covered by his hair.

: wow, you look amazing Zane"

Zane: thanks, I only use this form when needed too"

Zane shifted back to his normal form.

I felt another wave of magic. It was coming from the woods. I ran to the woods I made it to an old burnt down house. There was a book in the middle of the room. I opened the book.

" They killed my friends, my people I need to save my family from his forces but how my son was just born not too long ago. My dear son _____ has the powers of me and my wife. I'm sending my wife and child to my friend's place until I can save Lunar City"

Is Lunar City the village Zane and Yin brought me to?. I was about to turn around when I was knocked out.

I was walking around the woods when I felt a wave of weak magic. I ran to an old burnt down house. There was a girl lying on the ground near the book. I shifted into my wolf form and closer got closer to her. Her head was bleeding, I picked her up and ran back to my camp. I lightly placed her on my sleeping bag. I laid by her side with my head on her stomach.

The next day

I woke up and saw the girl still sleeping. I shifted out of the wolf form and went hunting for food.

Dawn's POV

I slowly opened my eyes and saw a man cooking what looks like fish.

: who are you?"

??: my name is Dark and you are?"

: Dawn"

Dark: nice to meet you, Dawn. where do you live?"

: Lunar City"

Dark: how is your head feeling?"

I touched my head and I felt a small pain.

Dark: you were attacked at the house and I brought you here"

: thank you"

Dark: you're welcome. What you remember from yesterday?"

: feeling a wave of powers coming towards the woods. The book... the village is called Lunar City and I saw a shadow of a wolf... I'm sorry I can't remember more"

Dark walked over to me and helped me to sit up.

Dark: It's ok. You said you saw a shadow wolf?"

: yea, with red eyes"

Dark shifted into the wolf.

Dark: you saw me, I have powers of shapeshifting"

: wow"

Dark shifted back to his normal form. I started to blush, why I'm blushing?!

Dark: here let me look at your head, maybe there a way to stop the pain"

Dark got closer to me. My face was heating up. Dark looked at me, his face started to turn red. Dark had brown eyes.

Dark: its healed"

: thank you for saving me"

Dark: you're welcome."

He realized how close his face was to mine. He backed away and looked at the ground.

I hugged Dark. Dark slowly wrapped his arms around me.

Dark: we should get you back to Lunar City"

: will you stay?"

Dark: i..... If you want me too"

: please"

Dark: ok my lord"

I blushed at my lord. I was not ready to be a lord just yet. I need to get back to the book to see what happened to the lord of Lunar City.
