Charlie is really not like cool

*Charlie's pov*

Charlie looked up at his feet, covered with black and green striped socks, trying to decipher left from right. He's blue eyes glared at them from his spot on the carpet, while they hung in the air suspended above the couch. The strange position was really quite comfortable.

"Troye?" He asked looking at his friend that sat next to his feet on the couch. "Yea?" The older male asked, setting down his magazine. His dark hair was hidden under a hat, and he wore a plain light blue sweater that really made his eyes pop.

Charlie blushed, laughing to himself. "Which ones my right foot?" The Brit asked quietly, ashamed of himself.

"That one..." Troye pointed to the foot closer to himself, not bothering to question his friend. Now a days his mind seemed even farther gone.

But Charlie was lucky. They had caught his illness early on, and doctors were able to delay the disease eating away at his memories. So his brain was saved for now. He had lived about a year with alzheimer's disease now, and his thoughts had started getting hazy. If you had asked Charlie was he had for dinner last night his mind would draw a blank. Sometime he forgot he was wearing his glasses, or to even put on pants.

One of the ways to help keep his memories in tack was videos. A random doctor, who's name Charlie couldn't remember, had suggested that idea. Make and edited videos of what had happened that day, or random memories he wanted to remember later on. Then, when things became hazy in the bottomless hole that was Charlie's mind, he would watch one of the videos, and laugh to himself. Charlie was also fairly good at editing, and found it a good way to pass the time.

In fact he was so passionate about what he did that Charlie had put some of his best work on YouTube. They were strangely popular and loads of people watched Charlie make a fool of himself in front of a video camera. Is account 'Charlieissocoollike' had reached almost one million subscribers, and just the idea made Charlie dizzy.

He was, in the real life, really like not that cool.

Maybe it was out of pity, something all most all kids in hospital's despised, or maybe people really did care about what he had to say.
