3rd POV
Y/N stopped and turned around. Someone was heading right at him, he took a step to the left, making them go right past him.
?????: ow....
It was a girl, she had pink hair, red eyes and her hair was long.
Y/N: I don't have time for this.
He walked off, though the girl quickly got up and followed.
?????: hello.
Y/N continued walking forward, completely ignoring her.
?????: wait!
Y/N sighed and stopped.
Y/N: I'm not getting rid of you am I?
?????: we are partners apparently.
Y/N: *sigh* what's your name Shrimp?
?????: my name is Larana.
Y/N: Larana? Pretty long name for someone so short.
He walked up to a tree and pushed it to the side, knocking it over.
Larana: you don't have to be rude about my height.
Y/N: what else will pass the time?
He continued walking forward as she followed. Y/N looked up to see a few Nevermore flying through the sky.
Larana: Nevermore?
Y/N: looks like they're worried about something up ahead....
Larana: do we continue?
Y/N: the relics are up ahead.
Salem began speaking inside Y/N's head.
Salem: you have permission to kill my Grimm, they're expendable, do what it takes to gain Ozpin's trust, then you put him down like a broken dog.
Y/N continued walking, Larana followed closely. Y/N then stopped dead in his tracks.
Larana: why are you stopping?
Y/N: quiet.
Y/N took his hands out of his pockets and cracked them, Beowulves and Ursai ran out of the brush, like they were afraid, moving quick, acting before thinking.
Y/N: what the hell?
The sound of a reptilian Hissing came from the area in front of them.
Larana: what is that?
Y/N stood there to see a giant claw come out of the brush. He righted his fist as a long and slender snout came out as well, thick armor and red eyes.
Y/N: my next kill.
Y/N walked towards it with no hesitation, it went to snap at him, but he punched one of its teeth out. It rubbed its tongue across the missing tooth and growled at Y/N.
Larana: let me help!
Y/N: and let you steal the fun?
Y/N threw off his hat and his coat, revealing a black t-shirt and jeans, he had fingerless gloves on and he had H/C hair. The area by his collarbone was covered with black lines, almost like veins. He punched the giant Grimm in the face, sending it flying through the brush into the open.
Y/N: you best stay out of my way!
Y/N then launched towards it at a break neck speed. The Grimm shook its head, then saw Y/N coming at it. It quickly rolled and dodged him. Y/N slammed into the ground and turned around.
Pyrrha POV
Me: hey Jaune, you still looking for a team member?
Jaune: very funny.
He smiled, I then started climbing the tree to help him down. I then heard the sound of a loud hit in the distance, then the sound of a high whistle.
Jaune: what's that noise.
A Grimm hit the tree we were on, making the bottom crack and tilt a little bit.
Me: what?
?????: what's the matter?! You afraid of what I am! Huh?!
The Grimm started moving fast, but whatever hit him wasn't playing. Someone walked out of the trees and tackled it into another one, making it roar in pain. He then lifted the Grimm and smashed its head into the ground, making a large cracking sound. The figure walked off like nothing happened, as the Grimm started fading away.
Jaune: what the hell was that?!
Me: I don't know.
3rd POV
Y/N walked out of the trees into the opening, where he saw some beat up thing.
Salem: that's it Y/N....grab one.
He rolled his eyes and walked towards the shrine thing to see a bunch of chess pieces.
Larana: you found it!
Y/N: I know.
Y/N grabbed the first piece he saw and put it in his pocket. Larana grabbed the one that was next to his. Y/N looked out to see birds fly out of the trees.
Y/N: stand your ground!
He walked towards the birds fleeing to see a Gorilla Grimm come out of the trees.
Y/N: son of a bitch!
Y/N cracked some bones and was ready for a fight. The gorilla started pounding on its chest and roared at him.
Y/N: COME ON!
It charged him and Y/N did the same, meanwhile the others were running out.
Ruby: woah!
Yang: does he need help?
Jaune: he lifted a Grimm.....I think he's fine.
Y/N punched the Grimm in the face and flipped it over his head. It landed on its back, making it yell out. Y/N walked away as the Grimm started to get up, it squinted his eyes at him, but they immediately shot open when Y/N squatted down and lifted a tree out of the ground. Y/N had a big smirk on his face.
Y/N: say your prayers because your ass is mine.
Y/N threw the tree at the Grimm, the branches going through it's body and shoving it away. Everyone's eyes were wide as Y/N walked back, his fists were tightened and he grabbed his chess piece back from Larana.
Y/N: we're done here.
He walked off with his hands in his pockets and he began whistling.
Larana: what have I done.....
