The Next Morning:

Deathbringer tapped his talons together nervously as he waited for Glory.  

Suddenly he heard a rustling behind him as Glory emerged from the dense rainforest.

 " I'm here. What did you want to tell me?". She sat down next to him. 

 He was so nervous, but he tried not to show it.

 " Well, um, Glory, do you like me?" He asked, blushing a deep pink. Suddenly, she leaned forward and planted a kiss on his snout. Her scales were a swirling mixture of pinks. " I, umm, I think I umm  love you", she said. He smiled his smug smile and leaned forward to kiss her again. 

A Few Weeks Later 

Glory was in her hut, organizing papers, when Deathbringer poked his head in.

 "You wanted me?" He asked, cocking an eyebrow.

 " Oh yes, Sunny has invited me to Jade Mountain Academy for some type of party that the whole gang is throwing, and I was wondering if you would like to come along. 

" I was never good friends with that group. Are you sure?" Deathbringer asked.

 "Well maybe now is a good time to get to know them. And you are my bodyguard after all, are you not?" She replied sarcastically.

 " Okay.... Fine. But only because you want me to come, not because I want to. When is it?" He asked. "

"Tomorrow. "

The Next Day ( At Jade Mountain Academy):

"Hey Glory!" Sunny squealed " I am so happy you could make it!"

 "I will never give up a chance to be with old friends", Glory replied.

 " Oh, so we are old friends now? " Tsunami butted in. " And who is that shady friend of yours? Wait, isn't he the one who tried to kill us in the desert?"

 " I'm, well yes, but now he is my boyfrien- I mean, friend, and I thought you guys might like to properly meet him." Glory nervously responded. 

"Okay, whatever, let's start the tour!!!" Sunny exclaimed, overflowing with enthusiasm.
