Chapter 14
I have no idea what to write here or in the rest of this chapter.
Imma just draw Pearl instead.
...
I no longer have the inspiration to draw Pearl.
Crap.
BRO IT'S JUST GOT RID OF 300 WORDS OF WRITING WHAT THE HECK?!
Cub was admin.
Cub was admin.
WHY WAS HE ADMIN?!
Why had that JERK Xisuma made HIM admin? Why HIM?! It could've been ANYONE, but it was HIM.
Herobrine paced the meeting building furiously, hands clenched, blocks glitching around him as his anger emanated out. With a sigh, he stopped. Keralis, Bdubs, Cleo and Etho were on his side. Doc and Tango had been forced into joining him. Xisuma was gone. The only other person he needed on his side was Pearl, and he knew exactly how he was going to convince her.
'Hero? Pearl's here.' Bdubs entered the room tentatively. Herobrine turned to face him.
'Good work, Phantom. Bring her in.'
The Australian hermit entered suspiciously, and Phantom closed the door behind her. Herobrine smiled coldly. She didn't return the gesture.
'Alright. I'm going to start this thing by saying I'm not going to join you, no matter what you say.'
'We'll see about that. Now. First thing, am I right in thinking you were part of a server called 'Evo'?'
Pearl paused at the name, as though wondering how Herobrine knew it, but responded evenly with.
'Yes.'
'Good. And it was destroyed by Watchers, yes?'
'Yes.'
'Would you like to go back?'
'Is this as a punishment for not joining you, or an incentive to ensure I do?'
'Would it be a punishment to go back?'
'You'll have to work that out yourself.' Pearl replied, resting her legs on the table. 'Because I'm not going to tell you.'
Herobrine growled with anger.
'Alright then. We're still going back there, no matter if you want to or not.'
'Ok. When do we leave?' Pearl's nonchalant attitude continued as Herobrine tore a portal through the fabric of space and time, inviting her through.
'Now.'
The shape-shifter stood up, walking over to the portal and stepping through. Herobrine followed, and it closed behind.
The land beyond was in complete ruins. Fires still burnt, and everything taller than 3 blocks had been razed to the ground. Pearl still refused to show her true emotion as she stood there.
'Horrible creatures, Watchers.' Herobrine spoke.
'Yeah.'
'How do you feel?'
'Why do you want to know?'
Herobrine didn't reply, unable to think of anything useful to add to the conversation.
'Well, looks like they left again.'
'Or they're guarding other parts of this place.' Pearl added. 'You can never know with Watchers.'
'No...' Suddenly, Herobrine lunged forwards to attack. Quick as lightning, Pearl had pulled out a sword and swiped him away. The glitch backed away, ready to fight back. Pearl slashed at him again, blocking his sword, knocking it out of his hand and pointing her own at his neck.
'There's a reason I survived them when they attacked. I know how to fight.'
Herobrine drew a second sword, batting Pearl's away. The Aussie stepped back easily, before lunging forward, stabbing his stomach.
'And the first thing the watchers did when they attacked was turning on permadeath. Prepare to die.'
'W...what about Scar?' Herobrine improvised.
'He'll probably die too.' Pearl impaled further, before pulling out the weapon, watching emotionlessly as he collapsed to the ground.
'Cub will murder you for this. If you ever find him.' It was the last thing he said before he died.
And respawned right where the portal was.
Surprised to say the least, he grinned. Pearl's back was turned, so he easily ran at her, grabbing her arm and twisting it behind her back. The Aussie shrieked with pain and shock, turning to see him.
'HOW ARE YOU ALIVE?!'
'I don't know.'
A glitch of magic flashed up Pearl's arm, and she almost fell, shifting randomly. She fell to the ground, half herself, and half a mishmash of various creatures. She growled as she looked back at Herobrine, getting to her feet.
'Now. Will you join me?'
'Of course not! Why would I join you now you've broken all the cool magic stuff I had.'
'Well, you look cool now.'
'True. But that's not the point. I'm not joining you like Tango and Doc did. You're not tricking me into joining you.'
'Fine. Then I'll kill you.'
Pearl got to her feet, slashing at Herobrine with a her dragon arm before shifting into an eagle and flying high above. She dived back down again, raked her claws across the glitch's face and landed again, turning back into her real self, drawing a sword as she did so.
'Don't try and stop me again. You know it didn't work last time.'
Herobrine growled, and chased after her, blood in his eyes. Pearl ran, bounding into the form of a cheetah and racing across the dust-plains of Evo. It didn't take long for her opponent to give up the chase, so she skidded to a stop, right by what she realised used to be the spawn. The large Evo symbol lay in front of her.

The message glitched into chat, and Pearl smiled. Clearly, he'd given up.
A Watcher mask lay discarded, right where she remembered it being, and the Evolutioner picked it up, turning it over and tracing the markings in the front. With a sigh, she put it on.
Her vision lit in a purplish glow, and she looked around, blinking, getting used to it again. A ball of lilac fire burst to life in her hand, which she shook away. No need for that. Instead, she summoned a sword, and slashed a hole in the world, hopefully leading back to Hermitcraft. She looked through, trying to recognise where it was and- yes, there was Gem's base.
Confident, Pearl stepped into the world, closing the portal behind and removing the mask. With a mild suspicion, she realised she hadn't seen the other new hermit for a while. But she continued through the dense undergrowth, slicing away trees and tangling vines as she approached Gem's place.
'Gem? Are you there?' She called. A red-haired face appeared in the window, and Pearl suddenly remembered, cursing herself for ever forgetting.
'A visitor!'
'No, no I'm not a visitor. I just got confused. Please. I'm going away now, ok?'
'No! Please stay!'
'You've already given me magic! I don't need any more!' Pearl glitched into the shape of a bird and flew into the air, navigating the weaving greenery.
'Come on, Pearl. I want you to STAY.'
All light disappeared as the vines tangled above Pearl's head, trapping her. She squawked in horror, fluttering back down again. Gem giggled from the window.
'Don't worry, I'm not going to hurt you. In fact, I have another visitor coming now who wants to see you.'
'Who?'
'Herobrine.'
Well, this sucks!
