Endometriosis needs more support and awareness for women to be able to cope with this debilitating disease. Know, you're doing everything you can. Please know it's okay to cry! Please, DON'T GIVE UP! Stay strong and keep battling and fighting this chronic illness head on. You're an Endo warrior. 🎗

who is this monster?
i'm staring right at them

the reflection tries to claw its way out of the glass and hides underneath the bed
unseen

like an old and lost toy
left to collect dust
sad
empty
alone
broken

all i see through the mirror
opaque glass
none see thru glass
blackness
darkness
coldness
aloneness
emptyness
brokenness
emotionless
sadness
ghostly
shameful

it's okay to cry
but only when no one else is watching
otherwise, we'll be seen as weak
why must we not show emotions?
because it's easier that way
that way,
we're not a burden or a disappointment

staring into the rippling water reflection below
only seeing blurriness and feeling invisible like an outsider on an alien planet
droplets of tears descends down the hills of my pale cheeks
as if the rain above disguises the tear stream falling into the water beneath
like, i had never existed in this strange world to begin with—like an alien

my whole life, i went without knowing that everyone and everything was a lie
you were just a marionette controlling and puppeteering my life on a stringless string
you always did give me shivers down my spine and causes the hair on my neck to rise
whenever you were near or far
