Part Twelve
An Autobiography ~
~ Endo Has Changed my Life
The belly pain is so excruciating painful and still is even now. But I had to completely change my diet. I only eat healthy food that doesn't trigger my Irritable Bowel Syndrome {IBS} or Coeliac Disease or Endometriosis {Endo} symptoms. So I avoid dairy, gluten, and soy, just to name a few so I don't have as much pain, but I still do, unfortunately. I also have diarrhoea and or constipation daily either one or the other or both in one day and extremely bad belly and vagina pains every day but I would rather have this pain than have the pain I would get if I was eating gluten, deep fried foods, takeaway, soft drinks, ect...
So, I tried clean eating and going dairy-free, gluten free, soy-free and avoiding beans, ligaments, yeasts and lectins as they can bloat you and same with carbonated drinks and drinking through a straw and chewing chewing gum, believe it or not. I also would only drink boiled/filtered water and organic orange juice so definitely avoid soft drinks if you can. I would only eat fruits and vegetables and some nuts and long-grain white rice. I only eat long-grain white rice as it doesn't hurt my belly, however, I avoid brown rice as it contains lectins on the outer shell and I only eat white meat as red meat is too heavy on the stomach. This has helped me for awhile but it couldn't stop the pain or Endometriosis from growing as the pain is inedible but on the bright side, the pain could be much worse.
~ Endo
dear friend,
endo is not a menstrual disease
it's a mental and physical battle—daily
it's a bloody battlefield
it gets messy from time to time
so please, tell me you that
you don't believe everything your doctors tell you
and you also, don't believe what you read on the internet
i'm looking at you, yes you...
save yourself the mental stress, my friend
