Akansha's PoV

I stormed out of the kitchen and went towards one of the corners of the garden.

I sat on one of the chairs while just relaxing my head. All these thoughts are making me irritated. I'll inform Ray and leave early, I'll make up some excuse and will make sure he believes it. I can't stay here.

I was thinking all of these when sahir and swara came towards me. Sahir sat to me while swara just stood there.

"Kya hua re oo mere piye 😂😂😂" sahir said trying to make me laugh

"Your piye is there ask her, why r u asking me" I wanted some alone time.

"Aksi baba he is trying to cheer u up." Swara was stating as if I didn't understand.

"Now, tell what happened with u and Cara and that u came and sat down here."  Swara was straight this time.

"Can we not talk about it, please. And also cover up for me. I decided to leave." I tried avoiding the topic

"If you are leaving because of that asshole, than I won't let you." Sahir was stern this time.

"You can't insult someone you don't know." Swara was not happy with the words sahir is using

"Cara hates me because of the "past" I shared with Sidhanth." I said in a low voice, air quoting the word past.

"What past?" Sahir turned towards me.

"Dude, you never dated him, yes you liked him. Maybe if you stayed together it would have turned into something else. But you left before it even began." Sahir's voice was pissed off at this point.

" Am I bad that I chose my brother and not Sid?" I asked with teary eyes.

"Are u nuts baba? You hardly knew him." Sahir was correcting me.

"Aksi? Will u choose him now? If the situation occured." Swara was looking elsewhere before speaking

" No, I was 17 when everything happened. I chose my brother.  I'm 26 now I will still choose my brother. If in future when I'm in my 30's and something like this happens I'll still choose my family. My family is everything for me. No guy can come close to that." I spoke and made an eye conctact with Swara but she looking at someone. I turned around and there is no one there.

Was Sid there? Did he hear what I just said? I didn't care and I continued.

"Tbh, if I think of it now, it's just a stupid misunderstanding that lead to cancelling of a huge deal between my brother and his father. Also I can never justify Mr.Rajput's actions towards me. Even if there slight chance of me getting back together with him,  will he go against his father? Should I be that person who separates him from his family. If I can choose my family then he should choose his family too." I made myself clear. And let out a sigh.

" Don't let Cara spoil your mood, stay and enjoy with us." Sahir tried speaking in a calmer tone.

" You already work so hard, you usually don't take breaks. So let this be like a break, and ignore everything. If Cara says anything I'll talk to her." Swara tried reasoning with me.

" Is it ok if I sit here alone?" I asked with almost tears in my eyes.

Sahir started tickling me and Swara joined in. I jumped from my seat and bumped into Ruhan.

"How dare u guys irritate my favourite." Ruhan said and started to tickle me.

"Stop stop stop." I said admist my laughs and their torture.

"Now, what's with this serious discussion without me eh." Ruhan said in a not so serious tone.

"Well, your favourite wants to leave today." Swara said with blank expression.

" Leave? You are here on a break and that's final, if u ignore that I'll go and talk to Ray. And dealing with Ray when he is upset is more dangerous." Ruhan stated with utmost blank expression. 

"What's going on?" Ray's voice came from behind.

"Nothing, we were just planning your bachelor party, since you are engaged and we should throw something for you." I said covering up the whole situation

"How about a vase?" Sahir came in

"Dude, my girlfriend wouldn't marry me with a disfigured face." Ray was smiling now

"How come u didn't tell us ? I mean thought we were close at least." Swara was sad now, letting her dramatic side out.

"Shut up, you both love birds." Ray said with a brightest smile.

"Let's all go in and I'll cook the best food." Ruhan said smiling

Everyone headed in and Cara was was at the door?

"You leaving babe?" Ray asked with a concern.

"Actually no, but Sid left since he came with me I wanted to leave." Cara stated looking at me with hate.

"Where is he?." I asked Cara directly

"Waiting for his cab." Cara stated and I made my way towards the exit.

I spotted Sid.

" Tum aise nahi Jaa sakte Sid." I spoke to him making him turn towards me

"And why?" Sid asked looking at me with sad expression.

" Because you are Cara's guest and I don't want her and Ray's day to end on a sad note. She already hates me because she thinks I was unfair to you in the past. So if u leave now, she will hate me more." I said directly looking into his eyes.

If he knows me even a little bit he would know that people hating me would effect me way too much.

"You go in. It's cold outside." Sid said without making an eye contact with me.

"I won't leave without you." Making an eye contact with him feels weird

He showed that he cancelled his booking and made a move towards me.

" I need to smoke, so you go in. I'll join you." He told as if he don't want me to stay anywhere near him

" You can smoke in the garden as well, everyone's waiting for you." I left after saying this

I made my way towards my room and didn't care to come out till dinner time. Ray didn't bother to disturb me, because he knew I was working on something and he thought it was work related and that's why he let me be alone. I didn't know if Sid came back or not.

The day ended quick and whole dinner I was silent, Sid came back, Cara was happy and normal around me. I don't know what Sid told but it's nice that Cara is back to being her normal self with me.

Everyone had to leave early, I was in Ray's car. Cara and Sid left in a cab. I guess everyone was sleepy apart from Ray and Sahir, I drifted into sleep.  

                   At the office

I make my way towards my cabin when Ria sees me and asks me to go the meeting room.

"I'll prepare your coffee, it's going to be a long day" Ria assured before asking me to enter the meeting room.

" I already had my coffee, I don't need other one." I told Ria but all she did was a smile.

Does she know something that I don't know?

As I enter the meeting room I see Alex standing in the centre and anger is clear on his face. When the hell did Alex come back? I look around the room to find almost all the associates, partners and Lee. Damn I guess someone messed up real bad.

I make my way towards John and sit next to him. He just gives me a nod. I look around to find Kieara but I can only see Sid siting a bit ahead of me. Why is he in this meeting?

"I GO OUT FOR A FUCKING 2 WEEKS AND THIS IS WHAT I GET TO HEAR??" Alex literally shouted, and haven't seen him this angry since my intern days.. oh noo.

"WE FUCKING LOST A CLIENT, HOW CAN YOU GUYS BE THIS IRRESPONSIBLE." His voice is getting louder and louder.

" WHERE ON EARTH IS KIEARA, SHE IS FIRED AND ASK HER NOT TO COME ANYMORE." Wait what? Noo how can she be fired for what. I won't stay calm

"Alex, this is wrong you can't fire her without any reason? " I stood for Kieara.

"NO REASON ? NO REASON? DO YOU KNOW WHAT SHE DID?" he was geniunly serious.

"I WANT EVERYONE TO LEAVE EXCEPT FOR JOHN AND AKANSHA." everyone literally left after his statement. I get how scary he was sounding right now.

Everyone slowly left and Lee was just siting there as pissed as Alex.

Alex threw some photos on the table, and John and I looked at those, and oh boy I was shocked. How the hell did Alex  get these photos and what does Kieara having boyfriend have to do with anything.

John and I looked at furious Alex not understanding anything.

"What does these photos prove anything Alex?" I asked in a calmer and confused tone.

"THE PERSON IS AN ASSOCIATE TO RIVAL FIRM, AND KIEARA LEAKED ALL THE IMPORTANT INFORMATION TO HIM." he said making me and John shocked equally there is no way he would do that.

"I don't think she would do that, try asking her once. And don't we have the saying Innocent until proven guilty." I will stand by Ki no matter what.

Kiera entered the meeting room only for Alex to get more furious. She came in and stood beside me and the moment she saw those photos she was shocked as well. I mean these photos were from last Friday when we all met him for the first time.

"So I'll fire you instead of Kiera, what say Ms.Varma" Alex said making all the four of us turn towards him.

"What?" Kieara was as confused as hell.

"Your friend is saying that you didn't cost me a fourtune by loosing a client. As much as I know that guy is your boyfriend and I have decided to fire you, but Akansha stood up for you. So I decided to fire her instead." He stated as if it was nothing, he can't fire me like that.

" Give me a week time, I'll leave if Kieara isn't proven innocent. She stays and I'll leave." I made a point I won't back away from unfair situations

"You got a weeks time, and that's it. Because of you we are going to loose a good person. Kieara." Alex was pissed.

The moment door opened, Sid was standing there shocked. Did he hear the conversation? Nooo noo noo.
