Sidhant's PoV

With all the frustration that's buildung up it's better to get back to my room and work. The moment I stepped in my mom started calling and knowing her she won't call during office hours  and the reason for call is making me more furious.  Sometimes working with your sibling is a nightmare. I knew Meera would inform Mom about Akansha. I don't get their obsession with such a heartless person. I try to relax and lift the call. There she is looking all pretty and curious.
On call 🤳
"Hey Ma! Apne call kiya?" I asked even though I know the reason pretty well.
"Mein apne beta ko ab call bhi na karu?" Here comes the melodrama of my mom 😂
"Cut the chase Ma" last thing I want is to shout on her.
"Beta woh Meera bol rahi thi ki.." she was about to talk more before I cut her
"Ma agar yahi baat hein toh merko apse baat bhi nahi karni" I need to calm myself down.
"Par beta ek bar merko baat karna hein akshu se, kinte saal hogaye usko dekhe" she is asking for the impossible, there is no way I would let her come near my mom ever again.
"Maa, bas ab, aap aise bol rahe hi ho jaise woh humari sabese purni dost ho, nahi hein woh meri ya Meera ki dost, woh sirf ek jan pahchan ki ladki hei." I can see anger in my mom's eyes. She really loved akansha during the times she was in Bombay. Ignoring her I continue you to talk.
"I have alot of work to do, let me get back to that, and make sure dad doesn't know that Akansha is in contact with me." Without listening to her, I ended the call.

I need to get back to India before anything is messed up. I stubbornly get this into my head and get back to my work.

I don't how many hours have passed and I can hear Ria talking to someone. I get up from my place to stretch myself. And there she is standing talking to Ria about something. Ria just gave a nod and that's it she left from there towards the exit.! I checked the time and thought why did she leave early.

I make my way towards the window and saw her reflection. She is walking towards a car? Wait she learnt to drive? But why did she use tube the other day then? All these thoughts eating in my brain and that's when I saw the guy she hugged. I went back to my seat not wanting to look at her or her boyfriend anymore.
This pissed me off even more how can she move on, when I'm still stuck there.

Akanksha's PoV

After talking to Sidanth I was bit sad, but what else can I expect when I just backed away without doing anything. But the moment I saw my best buddy I was happy and jumped right into his arms. The only best thing that has happened from the time sidanth came to London.

Rayyyyy!!! I was literally shouting and jumping..

"Oh my my, now hold your horses, we haven't meet like only for a month and you are behaving as if we have been separated for ages" he said laughing

"Shut up okay, what's with this sudden surprise to my office" I told calming myself.

"Well, I back in town for the weekend before I fly back again after my meetings so I thought I will get all the gang back like old times." He said smiling and definitely something's up.

"If the busiest person like you says he's here for the weekend and his all time belongs to me and the gang, who am I to say No. But, I have plans for tonight, so I'm spending the whole weekend with you guys, just pick me up from home." I say with full of energy.

"That sounds like an excellent plan, when will your work finish?, I'll drop you home." He finished and I started thinking, since I don't have any important work, it would be great to go home and change these shitty heals.

"We can leave in like 10 mins, I need to change these heels badly, " he laughed the way I said.

"I'll wait downstairs." Saying that he left from there.

I went back to cabin, to logout for the day. I see John looking at me with a weird look, I mean I get that. I never go early.

"Love, are you ok?" John raised his concerns.

Well, I am more than ok, my best bud is in town, I'm getting to meet all my friends for the weekend, I don't have to worry about work, si....." I was about to say sidanth but I stopped I middled.

"Love, are you not joining us for the dinner ?" He asked with the sweetest voice.

"I am joining, just because my gang is here for the weekend that doesn't mean I'll leave my work fam." I say smiling, thank God my old self is coming back.

He nods and I take my office laptop and other stuff make my way towards Ria, to inform I'll leave early and I'm not available for the rest of the evening so she better anything that comes her way.

After saying that I meet my friend and the way home is fun, I update him about all the work I have been doing, my travel life and stuff. On the other hand he updated about his life and still I think something is missing .

He dropped me home and without coming he left as he got a call. Busy peeps 😂😂.

The moment I reached my door step I remove my heels and relax. I hit music and dance around, like there is nothing to worry about, but my overthinking brain won't do that.

I haven't informed akash about sidanth and now Meera also saw, she won't stay quiet and inform aunty about me. Its been ages since I met their mom. But if she tells her dad then I don't want anymore drama.

I look at my phone and saw Kieara's message about the location, and damn it's a 40 min drive from home. And I have got 2 hours to go there why don't I take a short nap before I get ready.

I change into my comfy shorts and try sleeping but it's far away. Everytime I close my eyes I get the flashbacks of Mumbai and time spent with sidanth. It was already hard for me to move on and now that he is back this stupid flashbacks keeps coming back.

This night and the weekend is free of Sidanth and his thoughts. I say that to myself and get up from my bed and make my way towards the washroom, to freshen up.

While I stand in my bathrobe, and look at all the dresses I have. I decided to wear the comfiest jeans I have and a cute top. I do my hair in a high pony.

Until the driver comes, I decide to wear my shoes and get out my sling bag.

This look of mine is totally different from my office look and it just makes me happy.

I look at my phone and headout to get into my cab.

After an hour, I guess everyone is just out today.

I stand out at the restaurant and take my phone to call Kieara but I see her from the other corner waving at me.

"Kiiii, you look pretty" I exclaim in happiness..

"Well, babe you look cute! Looks like you are happy not wearing those heels." She says looks all happy.

I nod and we make our way in.
We were about to settle in when we heard voices and obviously I recognise him..

"Sweetheart, you look so beautiful, I hope you have some good news behind that reason for that smile." I turn around to look at the voice and it's none other than Chris, John's boyfriend.

"Well, the reason is you, it's been ages I have met you. You just don't have time for this sweetheart of yours."

I hug him and he reciprocates.

We got a round table, and I settle between John and chirs. Not that I want to sit middle of them but it somehow ended up like that.

"Well, let me just come ok?, I have got a surprise for you" ki said that and ended up leaving.

I was talking with Chris regarding alot of other stuff, when Kieara came back.

"Look who is here?" Kieara says and I turn my face towards her only to be upset. Why on earth did she invite sidhanth here.

"Hey, now who is this new hottie added to the group." Chirs says getting up from the there to hug him. But sidanth stepped back and just waved at him.

While Kieara introduced sidhanth to Chris, I am thinking of ways to escape from here.

"Ki, I thought this was our dinner night, what is Mr.Rajput doing here? If we were inviting everyone from office, you could have invited the other associates as well." I intended to come out this rude. I look at him and he is bit taken back.

"Don't be rude, love. He's new to London, obviously we need to give him company and I'm the one who invited him to the dinner." John said and he moved his way out to hug him.

I came out of the cabin and just waved at sidhant not wanting him to hug or anything.

Chris, John go inside the cabin while I settle next to Chris. And to my surprise sidanth decided to sit right next to me. Can't he sit next to Kieara ?

I was busy looking at menu, when Ria joined and took the seat next to Kieara.

"I guess, now we have new addition to the dinner gang." She remarked looking at sidanth.

"If you guys don't want me here I'll happily leave." He said making me look at him.

"Oh shut up Sid, Ria is just messing up with you." Chris came in making everyone laugh

I went back to looking at the menu when kieara spoke.

"Do you know Mr.Rajput, you are hottest brown guy we have seen so far." I snorted at that remark.

"Oh please, Ki, there are more better looking people than sidanth. Don't praise him like that or else he will just sit on your head." The moment I said his name he just kept looking at me, I turned my head when Ria said something stupid.

"Akansha is right, her brother is treat to watch." Did she just wink ay me.

"Oh God, Ria that's my brother you are talking about." I shaked my head in disbelief.

Think of the devil and devil calls you. My brother just called.

On call 🤳

"Ha chepu" I spoke in my mother tongue telugu, so that people won't understand my convo.

"Ekkada" his voice is the calmed yet concerned.

"Friday kada eroju, office valla toh bayatiki vacha" I tell in my happy tone.

"Sare, jagartha aa Ria ki chepu naa gurunchi em vagadu ani" he said in not so serious tone.

"Haha, adhi already ayipoyindi le kani, nuvvu poduko inka." I said controlling my laugh.

"Nenu podukunta, kani nuvvu intiki vellaaka oka sari message ayina petu." He ended the call.

I look at everyone staring at me.

"Let's order food, now that my love has informed her brother about her whereabouts." John said making me everyone look at the menu.

Everyone ordered their food along with drinks.
While the conversation was filled with laughter and teasing. I suddenly felt sidanth's hand on my leg and I shot up glare at his face. What the hell is trying to pull now. I shift in my seat and making him smile.
