Chapter 13

The Class A Headquarter is not just a simple room that I’ve imagined. May limang kwarto ang headquarters, the living room, library, kitchen, and bedroom and also inside of it is a bathroom.

Though the living room consume the most place the mini-library has great design na ginawa mismo ni Abby according to Paolo which is hindi ko pa naman kilala kung sino sa kanila.

“Like wha-“ headmistress was cut of because of a phone ring.

“Off your phone when we are in a meeting!” she barked.

Pero natawa nalang ako ng mahina ng nilabas niya ang phone niya sa kanyang bulsa and it is her phone after all. Sa gilid ng mata ko nakita kung natatawa na rin ang ibang Class A.

“I’m sorry, I’ll just take this call outside”. Then we stand up and bowed down a little to her.

Nasanay na rin ako sa patakarang ito kahit hindi ko paalam kung bakit. I forgot to read the school’s information na binigay noong first day ko rito siguro mamaya nalang sa bahay.

When the headmistress went outside with her secretary. The Class A students face me.

“Hi, I’m Erica Blaca Porras welcome to Class A headquarters Maureen” she said. I nodded to her and smiled. She has a bright smile, short hair and a very girly fashion, I remembered her noong sa Canteen incident.

“Thank you”

“Let me introduce them, she—“ Erica

“We can introduce ourselves Rica!” a guy cut her off. Inirapan na lamang siya ni Erica .

“I’m sorry for Erica’s attitude madal-dal kasi iyan. I’m Jun Gallorport” then we both shakes hand.

“Ahh okay lang, I like her naman” then Erica grab my arm and hug it to her. I can even feel her breast, she even giggled more.

“See that! Were friends!” ika niya kay Jun. Umiling-iling naman si Jun na hindi makapaniwala sa inasta ni Erica.

“You already knew me, I’m Lay and sorry the way I acted before at the canteen” Lay said. Tinunguan ko siya at nginitian.

“It’s okay I understand” tumango naman ito at bumalik sa pagbabasa.

A guy in his side stood up and went to my front. He crooked his lips and touch his hair gently. Napangiwi naman ako sa ginawa niya

“I’m Rix Villanueva. You must already know me after all I won the popularity vote last year. Hahahaha” Tsk. Kakatransfer ko palang 'tas last year pa yun. Nakitawa nalang din ako sa kanya.

“Hahaha hindi pa e” natisod ang kanyang kaliwang paa sa sinabi ko, ang OA naman nito. Tumawa ang mga kababaihan while the boys guided him to sit.

“Wala ka pala pre hahaha” Paolo said.

“Abby Valmero, nice too meet you” though she’s smiling I can sense that she doesn’t like me. Well I can change that mind of her after all I’m likable.

Si Prince nga gusto ako siya pa kaya natawa naman ako roon, assumera nga pala ako magbabago pa kaya iyun?

“I’m Ial Hellicania, welcome to Class A Maureen” her smile is pure hindi parehas noong nauna sa kanya. Tsk.

“Jeyan Amazor, and that girl over there is Everly Geller, she’s Chandler’s cousin. You knew him na diba?” I nodded to her. I looked at Everly she’s standing at the front door.

“Is she waiting for something or someone?” I asked to them and it was Paolo who answered.

“Nah, she just like standing in the door” natawa naman sila but I don’t know if I should laugh too. Napansin naman niya iyon.

“Kidding, hahaha tinitignan niya lang kung parating na ang headmistress” I nodded to him.

“And here she is. Papunta na siya rito” Everly said then she beams on me.

“Sorry for the interruption. However, let’s continue this tomorrow as the School’s Director called for Classes Advisers meeting" we bowed to her as she walked outside. ‘Wala pa naman po kayong nasisimulan kaya wala pong kayong mai-continue.’ Pero ang harsh ko naman kong sabihin iyon at isa pa bad iyun.

“Hmm so I think tayo nalang muna ang magme-meeting.” Lay said. Umirap naman sila maliban kay Paolo na tumawa lang.

“He’s burden about this activity kasi wala rito si Chandler” bulong ni Erica sa akin.

“Where’s he by the way”

“Kasama siguro ang School director nevertheless he has the biggest responsibility as the Classes President” napabaling ako sa kanya.

“Classes President?”

“It’s similar to student president however here it is called as Classes President prior to all Classes.” Tumango –tango ako sa kanya at bumaling ulit sa harap ng magsalita si Lay.

“Listen please. Chandler is not around so let’s not burden him more with his responsibility in school. Will do the planning today of what activity we’re working so that tomorrow may suggestion tayo sa headmistress.” Lay. Tumango kaming lahat pagsang-ayon sa kanya dahil mukang takot rin ang mga ito sa headmistress.

“Naisip ko na ito noon, how about Book Bazaar besides our mini-library here isn’t useful anymore.” ika ni Abby. Bakit hindi na useful, libro iyun.

“I agree to her, selling those books isn’t bad. Luma na rin ang mga iyun but they are still presentable kaya mabibili iyun” Jeyan said.

“May nagbabasa pa kaya ngayon? Our books here are mostly novels, the encyclopedias are ripped and I don’t think students will even look at ours they might think it’s boring” ika naman ni Ial. Tumango ang iba habang si Abby ay hindi mapinta ang mukha.

“I think marami pa naman ang mga estudyanteng mahilig magbasa. As I was in library before may pumupunta naman and I think most of the readers nowadays are reading in applications so how about we gather buzz worthy authors before opening the book bazaar?” I suggested na kita ko kasi iyon sa isang movie noon and it went well kaya baka pwede rin hehehe.

They looked at me smiling widely even Abby smiled at my direction. See that? I can make demons to angels’ hahaha.

“I agree to that!” Paolo said

“So we all agreed to that? No pugnacious reaction?” Lay said and everyone agreed.

“Then again this is only a plan, we still need headmistress approval so let’s think another one para mayback-up plan tayo” tumahimik sila at muling nag-isip. Habang malalim silang nag-iisip tinignan ko sila isa-isa.

I known Paolo as being perverted guy as I remember what he did at the canteen before but when it comes to school he’s serious. Lay who’s sitting beside him is tenacious I can sense that his determined in this activity maybe he wanted to proved something, ewan.

Si Rix naman, ay may pagkamalikutin habang nag-iisip ang katabi niyang si Everly sinusundot-sundot niya ito. Bahagya akong matawa roon.

While Everly she seems innocent she can’t even see that Rix is hitting her. As I looked at Abby she has this stubborn look that says don’t mess up with her, while she is thinking Jun on the other hand ay sumusulyap-sulyap sa kanya.

Jun has this fair skin na nagmumukang bakla na siya. Noong nakita ko siya sa canteen akala ko talaga bakla siya.

Ial seems to not attending, she’s listening music in her headphone while banging her head back and forth. May pagkaboyish rin ang pananamit niya while Erica is opposite she’s bubbly and too girly.

Kaya mukhang may pagkaOA which is maybe true ayaw niyang hinahawak-hawakan siya habang madumi ang kamay mo. I knew that to her because I’ve seen Rix teasing her with his dirty hands.

“How about Student Medical Consultation” Everly said.

“Nah, were not good in that field and remember hindi lang students ang pupunta but visitors around the country will be invited so we must not focus on students but in general.” Ika ni Lay.

“Then how about Art Center” Ial suggested tatanungin sana siya ni Lay when someone interrupted.

“Don’t plan it yet, the Holiday Crest will be change this year” we looked all to him and it is Chandler. His eyes were looking at mine kaya kumunot ang noo ko. Bakit?

“Why?” Paolo asked.

“18th Holiday Crest will be the busiest and largest activity that will happen in the UGS history” He said at iniwas na ang tingin sa akin.

“The program will last Two weeks and everyone around the country might as well the world will be expecting. Put in your minds that the main goal of this activity is to gain donations for UGS FOUNDATION not just in the La Villa but also the others around the country” 

“How can it last for two weeks?” Erica asked.

“The schedule is here tignan niyo nalang” he place the paper in the center table and then lumapit siya sa akin at hinawakan ang kaliwa kong kamay.

Kamay talaga hindi pwedeng braso? Prince huh!

Marahan niya ko ginaya palabas ignoring the stares of other Class A. At dahil assumers, tanga, bobo at idagdag mo na rin na malandi ako kaya hinayaan ko siyang kaladkarin ako saan niya man gusto.

“Basta Prince bata pa ako ha” natakpan ko naman ng mabilis ang baba ko. Hindi ko mapaniwalang nasabi ko iyon ng malakas.

“W-what?” natatawa niyang tanong at pagkatapos ay humalakhak.

Lumaki ang mata ko sa nangyari s-si Prince marunong tumawa? Ngiting-ngiti naman ako sa kanya. Nagtaka naman siya at hinawakan ulit ang kamay ko.

“Why are you smiling like that?” tanong nito

“Why nahuhulog ka?” sinundot-sundot ko ang tagiliran niya habang hindi mapigiling ngumiti.

Tumitig siya sa akin kaya tinigil ko iyon. Tinaasan ko siya ng kilay at tinignan ang kamay niyang nakahawak sa kamay ko.

“I already did” ika niya at nagpatuloy sa paghila sa akin. What? Is he really serous?

“You’re serious?”

“About courting you? Yes, I’m deadly serious.” He look really serious though nakita ko ang pag-angat konti ng labi niya.

“A-ah saan pala tayo pupunta?” he grip my hand and said

“Date. We have a date today, we also have tomorrow lunch and then the next day, and the day after that I will asked you so you better prepare your best Yes early” h-huh?

He tightly grip my hand at binilisan ang paglalakad. He’s in his normal walking while I’m running just to reach his pace, ang bilis naman ng isang ito.

Pero pwede ba iyun ang bilis ko namang sagutin siya. At siya pa talaga gumawa ng schedule! Wow!

“Aba hoy-hoy-hoy!” I faced him

“Hindi ka nga nagpaalam na manligaw ka tas mayschedule kana kung kailan kita sasagutin!” he looked amaze while looking at me kaya hindi ko maiwasang mahiya sa titig niya.

“Of course, pagtinanong na kita you will answer me then that’s the nature of a conversation”

“Oo nga pero bakit ang bilis naman” pahiyang ika ko. Naalala ko pa kwento ng guro ko noon tungkol sa buhay niya.

She known his husband for five months before he asked if he could court her. He courted her for six months before my teacher gave her answer then they married after fifteen years of dating. Yun yung basehan ko nang klase ng relasyon ang ganda kaya in those times mas makilala mo siya ng lubusan and then to him it's just a week! H-huh!

“What’s the point of taking it long if I’m completely sure that I will spend my whole time with you” see that; time lang iyon gusto ko buo.

Yung hindi lang time mo pati pagkatao mo. I must know all your flaws, your likes. Isang lingo pa nga lang ako rito ano iyun like at first sight. Aba kung ganun ang ganda ko naman.

“I have my own dream of relationship no kaya ang aga-aga pa hindi pa nga kita kilala. I don’t know a single of you aside of your name hmpp” pabebe ko sa kanya.

Baby niya naman ako kaya okay lang yun. Inirapan naman ako nito at hinawakan ulit ang isa kong kamay.

“Then I’ll tell you all of me. In return look only for one and that’s me, no Mario, neither Paolo nor other guys. Only me, only Chandelier baby, only your Prince, only him” he holds both my shoulder and grips it softly, his eyes were like a tunnel whom I can’t see the end.

I was known as witch for knowing everyones thoughts and flaws that's why they abhor me but why I can’t read him, why I can’t proclaim his thoughts greater than that why is my heart beating so fast?
