Hello and welcome!
Nice of you to check out "A Giant's Hands" !

This story was originally written with people from a rather strange paraphilia-group in mind and may, therefore, feel a bit "unconventional" to the uninitiated reader in its choice of protagonists ;)

However, while some things may strike you as peculiar, there are other things that hold true wherever humans are, no matter how different or strange they may be...

In the end,
this book is about people and relationships - about what makes them and what breaks them,
about saviors and monsters,
love and desire,
about power, dependence, trust, and abuse,
about true equality,

and about what it means to be free.

So come along and let me take you on the strangest adventure into a world you thought you knew...

I always like to know what to expect before I commit to reading a book, so here's what you're in for:

⚫This story will be a long one, with several main characters and plotlines .

⚫ This is very much a work in progress.

I have the general outline of it worked out, but there is still plenty of room for change, and I will sometimes go back and tweak and adjust things a little, or change the order of the chapters.
Major changes will - of course - be announced.

◾On a similar note, especially because there is room for changes, your feedback, criticisms, and wishes might also influence the story (to a degree) ;)

⚫ This story deals with a wide variety of topics, and may, therefore, at times be rather dark, and/ or violent (but never excessively so).

Among (many) others, some of the more serious ones are:

◾Physical and mental abuse,
◾Dealing with loneliness, death, and trauma,
◾Mental illness
◾and survival in a hostile environment.

I know this sounds pretty bleak, but the story itself isn't, so don't worry.

Sometimes it will be shocking, and sometimes it will be sad, but it will also be full of tender, fun and romantic moments, which will vastly outweigh the dark parts.

⚫ This story will contain sexual scenes, sometimes of a decidedly deviant nature.

So far, the story is pretty "tame" and essentially still pg 13, however, this will change in future.

Especially "extreme" or triggering chapters will be marked and will always be skippable.

For those who skipped such a chapter, I will provide a short summary of the events, (even if they do not influence the main plot) so they can still enjoy a rich and comprehensive reading experience, without reading something that might potentially upset them.

⚫ I am not a native speaker and have a light case of dyslexia on top of that, so be prepared to encounter the odd spelling mistake or missplaced comma.

I will correct mistakes over time, and am about to go back and run all of the posted chapters through a spell-checking app, but there are bound to be some that I miss.

I apologize for that.
(Since the story is still at the 'rough draft'- stage, getting someone to proof-read would be a bit of a waste at this point in time)
