(Okay, everyone, so sorry for not updating this book in a LOOONG while. I was busy with school and other books, and didn't have motivation to write it, BUT the next chapter is here! I hope you enjoy.)

"Alright. Making sure I have the list for what I need." (Y/N) says out loud as she holds up a piece of parchment. It is the next morning and (Y/N) is ready to obtain the ingredients needed to perform the ritual to extract the giant's essence from Hiccup. Accompanying her will be Fishlegs and Snotlout. Fishelgs because he has extensive research of the other islands with the archipelago that Dragon's Edge resides in and Snotlout for extra muscle invade things get crazy. "Yep! Alright, Midnight, you ready to go questing?" (Y/N) asks to the Stormcutter. Midnight stands ready as she huffs softly in affirmation.

"Aw yeah! What are we waiting for?" Snotlout asks, already on Hookfang as he waits to go. "This isn't a vacation, Snotlout. We, as (Y/N) put it, are going on a quest to obtain the ingredients that will return Hiccup to normal." Fishelgs states. Snotlout mimics him as he leans back in the saddle. Fishlegs sighs but says nothing as he gets on Meatlug. (Y/N) adjusts the strap of her bag when she hears footsteps and looks back to see Hiccup walk up to her with Toothless moving over to converse with Midnight. "So how many ingredients are needed?" Hiccup asks her. (Y/N) gives him a smile, "Just three, but I can't be certain how soon we will find them." She answers. "Alright, just be careful. The islands neighboring the Edge can be a little much." Hiccup informs her. (Y/N) rolls her eyes with a smirk, "Relax. Before I lived on Berk, I have had my fair share of danger." She says, Hiccup noticing a distant look in her eyes but does not say anything.

"But!" He blinks as she looks at him with a wide smile. "That's why Fishlegs and Snotlout are coming. So I will have backup. And Midnight won't have to worry so much." Said dragon huffs our smoke that is breathed in (Y/N)'s face. The witch coughs as she waves it away. "I love you too, M." (Y/N) says. Hiccup chuckles quietly from the moment. "You sure you want only Snotlout and Fishlegs?" The two look to find Astrid join the conversation as she walked over to stand with them. (Y/N) nods her head, "I'm sure." She states. Astrid smiles and nods her head.

Toothless rushes over and gives (Y/N) a lick on the cheek. The woman's (S/C) becomes covered in spit and she gags a little while giggling as she wipes it off. "You be good, Toothless." She says to him, giving him a scratch on the chin which he purrs from. She then hops onto Midnight, "We'll be back as soon as we have the ingredients. Onwards!" (Y/N) exclaims, Midnight taking off with Hookfang and Meatlug following after her. Hiccup watches as they fly further then feels a hand on his shoulder and looks to find Astrid give him a smile. "So long!" "Try not to blow up too many things without us!" Tuffnut and Ruffnut shout. Hiccup and Astrid roll their eyes at them but say nothing. "So... Raid (Y/N)'s stuff?" "Yes." Ruffnut asks her brother, who immediately agrees. "Absolutely not." Astrid scowls as she walks over and puts them in headlocks. Hiccup feels Toothless nudge against him and he focuses on him while the twins make noises of pain.

Meanwhile, Meatlug flies in front as Fishlegs navigates. "All right. The first ingredient should be on this island." He calls back as a luscious green island come in sight. "Okay. Remember, it is an orange flower with four petals." (Y/N) reminds them. "Got it!" Snotlout says, he makes Hookfang dive down with Fishlegs and (Y/N) do the same with their dragons. Once they land on the island, the witch and Vikings get off their dragons. "Let's split up. More ground to cover and if you get into trouble, mmmm, just scream." (Y/N) says as she skips off with Midnight following after her. Fishelgs nods his head and walks in another direction with Meatlug waddling after him, but stops for a moment as she gobbled up some tasty rocks.

"Uuuuuuuugh! We have been searching forever." Snotlout complains as he leans against a tree. Hookfang rolls his eyes as it has only been half an hour since they start the search. "This island is so big and all just to find one flower. Why not just put up a sign that says, 'One Flower, Right Here.'" Snotlout continues to rant as he walks. Hookfang growls but follows his rider as they continue to search for said flower. However, Hookfang halts as he hears something. He uses his tail to trip Snotlout and said man yelps as he falls on his face. "Hookfang, not cool!" Snotlout complains. He stands up but finds his dragon on high alert.

He gets serious as he looks around. A snap is heard and the two look in the direction of where it came from and a tense silent follows. A roar sounds as a dragon appears and it is a singetail. "Aah! Singetail!" Snotlout exclaims as he dodged a blast of fire and Hookfang fires back. Snotlout quickly gets on Hookfang and the two take to the sky and the singetail follows. "We have to keep that thing from setting the island on fire. At least until the others get the flower." Snotlout says to Hookfang. The monstrous nightmare roars in agreement and immediately charges at the singetail. Loud roaring is heard and it gets Meatlug and Midnight's attention.

Hookfang dodged a blast from the singetail while Snotlout ducks from a fireball shot at him from the singetail's tail. "Okay. Time to fight fire with fire! Snotlout, Snotlout! Oi, Oi, Oi!" Snotlout chants as Hookfang sets himself ablaze and the two dragons charge at each other. Right as they were about to collide a fireblast hits the underbelly of the singetail and it roars in pain as it falls. Snotlout halts Hookfang's and looks to see Midnight appear. The stormcutter growls in warning as the singetail recovers and roars at her. "Keep it distracted!" (Y/N) shouts at Snotlout. Midnight then flies off and starts to circle the two while Snotlout charges at the singetail with Hookfang doing a barrel roll as the singetail shoots a ball to fire from its tail.

For a few moments, it was back and forth between the two dragons with fire fighting fire. "Get out of there!" Snotlout hears (Y/N) shout and looks to find a circle of green powder surrounding the two dragons. "Alright, Hooky, dive flare!" Snotlout says. Hookfang roars as he shoots into the air then dives down at the singetail. Before the singetail could fire, Hookfang does so first and quickly barrel rolls away to avoid collision and exits the circle.

(Y/N) puts away her pouch for which she got the green powder and closes her eyes as she channels magic through her gloves. A (F/C) light shines from the crystals as (Y/N) focuses, closing her eyes as she inhales deeply. She snaps her eyes open and exhales as the green powder surrounds and hits the singetail. The dragon roars in surprise from the feeling then becomes confused as it looks around with curious eyes. It then flies off, leaving the island alone. (Y/N) sighs as she lowers her hands. "Wow. What was that?" Snotlout asks her as Hookfang appears next to her and Midnight. "That was Forget Powder. It only causes a small amount of memory loss of the person who tells it what to forget exactly. That's why the singetail left after it got hit by it. As in, why it was fighting." (Y/N) explains.

"Well, that definitely came in handy." Snotlout says. "And it prevented the island from being set on fire." Fishlegs says as Meatlug flies up to meet with them. "And where have you been, Fishface? Not like we needed your help." Snotlout says. "I was told by (Y/N) that you two got this. And it gave me time to find, a this." Fishlegs says with a smug smile as he holds up the orange four-leafed flower. "Fishlegs, well done. Now, only two more ingredients." (Y/N) says with a smile.
