Kai POV

The day has finally come. I have to go to school now.

Boring.

I fell out of bed and did my normal routine. But when I got to the UA uniform, just no. I have to wear a skirt? No thanks. I threw the terrible thing out the window and proceeded to put on my grey sweats.

Once I finished I went to the bar where Kurogiri stood cleaning glasses. I yawned and went to go make some coffee. I grounded the beans and put them in the paper thing over the pot so I can pour hot water on top of it to make coffee. I looked to my left and found kurogiri was staring at me making the coffee. I sighed and asked, "You want some?"

He looked at me then coughed then mumbled embarrassed, "Sure."

I laughed and poured him a cup of coffee. We both sat on a bar stool and enjoyed the drink. "Your coffees are always the best kai." He complimented.

I smiled and took another sip before saying, "Well, when its one of the few things you can consume in public then you get pretty good at it making it." He hummed in acknowledgment.

I looked at the clock and put down my cup of coffee. "I have to leave soon." I sighed, got up and made one more batch of coffee to bring to school. I poured the delicious drink in two thermoses and place them in my backpack. "Bye Giri," I said walking out the door hearing a short bye from the man.

I enjoyed the nice breeze and alone time I was getting until I saw a huge building. 

Is that UA? Wow, impressive.

I then saw Shinso a bit ahead of me, so I walked up to him. "Hey, buddy." I smile and bump into him playfully.

"Hey, how was your vacation?" He asked pushing me off.

"Pretty boring honestly." I shrugged, "Yours?"

"Meh. I'm Tired." He sighed.

I moved my backpack so I can open it, and grabbed one of the thermoses. "Here." I gave it to him. He took it with a smile, his face lighting up when he opened it. "Thanks." He smiled and took a sip. "Your coffee is always the best. How do you do make it?" He asked.

"Secret," I smirk while he frowned.

"Come on, in your friend. Tell me." I smiled and closed the invisible zipper on my mouth, "My lips are sealed. Don't worry though, Ill randomly find you and give you coffee." He chuckled at my comment and drank more of the coffee.

We walked into the building and went our separate ways.

Class 1A? Where did it go? I wandered around a bit then ended up finding it. I swear its more difficult to find the clads than it is to find ainteku back at GW. Finally, I spot the 1A sign eith the humongous door. I titled open the door to see a green fluff of hair and some yelling something from further within the class.

I peaked around the boy's shoulder and saw a taller boy with glasses march over to us. I looked at him, annoyed. I dont want to deal with this rigbt now. I walked back knowing he would be loud and annoying. There was a lot less commotion at tge back of the class. Yay more calm people.

I pulled out my coffee and sap it,  until Mr. Glasses came over to me. "What are you doing? You cannot bring drinks besides water in class! You also are not following the school dress code." He said chopping the air.

"So what? Teach' didn't say anything about it." I shrug and took another sip to tick him off. "Is it bothering anyone? I think not, so if you have anything else more important to say, you should sit your butt down. Class is gonna start soon." I said pointing to the other students at the door gasping at something on the floor.

Mr glasses gasped offended, then looked where I pointed and saw a Scruffy tired man get out of his sleeping bag and pull out uniforms. "It took you 12 seconds to be quiet. I expect more from you next time. Now, take these, and go to the locker rooms."

I got up and did as instructed.

I got out of the locker rooms and stood next to a pink haired and skinned girl. Aizawa explained random stuff that I want really paying attention to. It was something along the lines of. No ceremony because I don't want to. Quirk apprehension test. Heroes and stuff. Expulsion for the last place.

Evreyone was tense for the expulsion part but I was just busy looking at the clouds. Ive always found it interesting that they are white fluffs of water. I mean thats all they are. Fluffs of water.

"DIIIIEEEE!!!"

Whos dying? I wonder, looking over to where I heard a blasting noise. It was the explosive blond who threw a ball really far.

"Only when you know your limits you can pass them," Aizawa said holding up a phone which read 706.2. That impressive.

First up the 20-meter dash.

I was up against a frog-like girl. We took our positions. When the buzzer beeped I sprinted to the other side like normal, with the girl hopping behind me. I passed the line and the machine said, " 4.11 seconds" The girl then passed, "5.51 seconds"

Grip strength

I looked at the device, confuzed. What do you do with this thing?

I looked at the other people who were holding it and straining to grip the machine. Over to the left, there was a guy with several arms who got 150. He had a bunch of people surrounding him saying things like your a beast.

I looked at the machine, activated my kagune. Wrapping it around the grip part I put a bit of force into it then it broke. Making a loud snap then thud when it fell to the ground.

Several people looked over to me with wide eyes. "Woah! Did you see that?! That's so cool!" A few others commented too and came over to me, asking me questions, "Hey what's your name?-What quirk-How did you do tha-"

I just smiled at them and tried my best to answer thier questions, "Well, my name is Kai and to sum it up I have special blood. I also have this thing on my back and-" I said waving my kagune. "OMG! I love your eyes! There sorta like mine." The pink skinned girl squealed while staring at me, leaning super close to my face. I scooted back at the closeness and looked at her wide-eyed.

 "Oh! Sorry if I made you uncomfortable." She said with an apologetic smile and backed up.

"N-no it's not that." I looked down and rubbed the back of my head. "Most of the people are scared of me because of my eyes and think its hideous, but I like the new change in perspective." I say reffering to the people who know who ghouls are. The moment they see my eyes they're terrified.

"I think its pretty manly- err cool." A red-haired boy said with a smile and thumbs up.

I chuckled at him then the others started to introduce themselves too, "I'm Mina Ashido nice to meet you!" The pinkette smiled.

"I'm Denki kaminari!" The electric blonde said proudly.

"Kirishima is the name!" The red-head boy with shark-like teeth smiled.

I smiled at them all, hoping to become good friends with them soon.

Standing Long Jump.

This should be easy. I held myself up by my kagune and propelled toward easily passing the camera.

Ball throw.

I watched as the other students went up first. Some of them had interesting techniques while others simply threw it normally. There was one girl who I thought was interesting. She got infinity. I think her quirk has something to do with gravity.

When it was my turn I stepped into the circle board, took out my kagune then threw the ball up high, swung my kagune back and hit it with force making some wind go backward. "683. Not bad" Aizawa said looking at the screen before calling up Midoriya who was trembling nervously. 

I kind of feel sorry for him. 

He walked up nervously and I walked beside him so we crossed paths. "Calm down. Being worried won't help anything. Just do your best." I said passing him. He stopped in his tracks, took a deep breath in and out then walked to the circle less nervous and calmer. I guess I did a good job.

"Hey what did you say to him? He is trembling less" A brunette asked me.

"I just told him worrying and panicking won't solve anything and to just do his best," I said watching him stare at the tennis ball as if it was a math problem.

"Oh that's right, I didn't introduce myself. I'm Kai. What's your name?" I asked her.

"I'm Ochacho Uraraka. It's nice to meet you." She smiled brightly.

"Same here" I lightly smile back.

Izuku looked at the field in front of him, pulled his arm back and threw the ball forward "47 meters" The machine beeped.

"Wha- what happened? I- I was trying to use it-" Midoriya got cut off by Aizawas sudden voice.

"I erased your quirk." He said intimidatingly. Aizawa had a scowl on his face with his scarf floating around him along with his hair.

"I know those goggles! You're the erasure hero. Eraser head!" Midoriya shouted astonished.

So erasing quirks. I have to be careful around him. I don't want to blow my cover if he realizes he cant erase my quirk.

His scarves lowered as he finished his mini-speech. "I returned your quirk. Go ahead."

Izuku seemed to be debating to himself and planning. Soon after, he pulled his arm back and thrust it forward with air whooshing behind him, hitting our faces.

"SMAAASHH!" The ball flew high up into the sky.

"705 meters" The machine beeped.

Midoriya slowly stood up straight with a pained look on his face, brought his fist up, clenching it. He shakily, yet semi-proudly announced, "I can still move!"

Aizawa grinned like a madman.

"All right, here are your test scores," Aizawa said in his usual monotone voice, making a projection with a device.

I looked for my name through the long list and found it in 3rd place. Not bad.

1st. Yayorozo mono
2nd. Shouto todoroki
3rd. Kai
4th. Katustki Bakugo
And so on.

I looked to my left where I heard growling by the explosive blond. He seemed to feel my glance, and jerked his head and gave me a nasty glare as if saying 'im going to kill you soon.'

Meh. If anyone is going to kill someone it's going to be me with blood on my hands... and face...

"Oh yeah, the expulsion thing was a just a lie to make you do your best," Aizawa announced.

I figured as much.

"WHAT!?" The majority of the class yelled.

"You didn't realize? I'm sorry, I guess I should have said something." A tall girl with black hair spiked up in a ponytail said making others deadpan.

I walked over to Ashido who was still kinda shaken from the whole expulsion thing. "Hey, Ashido" I chirp.

"Oh hey, Kai. Nice job in third place." She turned to me and smiled.

"Thanks," I respond.

"What's your quirk, Kai? The red thing from you back is really cool and I think it's cool how our eyes are so similar." She asked as we walked to the locker room.

"Aww, thanks. My quirk is called RC blood cells. Its basically fancy blood cells. With it, I have regeneration, the thing from my back that I call kagune or rinkaku and my eyes turn black and red whenever I use it." I explain. "I was wondering, are your eyes always like that?" I ask pointing to her black eyes like mine but with gold instead of red. "Oh yeah. I guess its a mutation even though I'm an emitter class. I guess we're kinda the same!" She smiled.

"I guess so." I chuckle at her cheerfulness. "What emitter thing are you talking about though?" I ask politely.

"Oh yeah, my quirk is acid. I can shoot acid from any part of my body." She said as we entered the locker room. "That's cool too. If you get annoyed with anyone you can just put acid in thier meal." I laugh and make a hand gesture as if I was sprinkling salt but instead it would be acid.

She giggled and replied, "I never thought about that. Thanks for the tip!" She smiled with an evil smirk and a small laugh until we both looked at each other and erupted in giggles.

I walked down the hallways of the school to get to that I work at a part-time job thanks to the whole undercover mission. Shiga also said that I can't steal or pin pocket anyone anymore for fun.

He also threatened to disintegrate all the things in my room if I didn't get a side job for myself.

I honestly don't understand why exactly he wants me to get my own job. When he was lecturing me he said something about if people decide to follow me to my 'house' they would figure out thier base and whatever. I mean I'm not particularly despising the idea because I do get something to do after school vesides kill people, so whatever. I work at a coffee shop at least it smells great.

"Kai! Wait up!" I heard a few people call me from behind. I turn around and was greeted by my Kirishima and Mina. "Hey, guys whatcha up to?" I asked continuing to walk with them alongside me.

"Which way are you headed? We're going to the station." Kirishima asked.

"Same here." I shrug, "I guess we're walking together."

Hmm... This school year is gonna be interesting.
