A/N:oh meh goodness I finally feel like writing a chapter CX.

"Scarlet! Scarlet! Come on wake up"
I suddenly feel something wet thrown on my face and I awoke coughing.
"What the heck was that for Feather?"
"It was to wake you up idiot."
I blinked slowly. Sharp pain flared through my skull as I remembered what happened last night.
It didn't explain why there was darkness on my left eye.
I speak very slowly,"Feather, why is there no light on my left eye?"
"Well, remember why you were unconscious?"
"A burning branch hit me, what's that got to do with my eye. I did avoid the branch, right?"
"More or less. You see, the branch slashed across you eye completely, leaving a long jagged scratch on you. I suggest looking into the river nearby to see the rest of the damage. I'll be over here gathering moss." Feather summoned her wings and flew off to the other side of the clearing.
I padded up to the river and inspected the damage done.
I was horrified.
One side of my once beautiful silver fur was charred and coal black. I stretched out my left wing, once feathered but now there was just some burnt fur and wing flaps. It hardly looked like I was myself anymore.
