A moment later the door was opened by a woman with a heart-shaped face and bronze hair.

"Hello Ma'am I was looking for a Jasper Hale, formally known as Jasper With lock. I was informed that he was resident here" I said my southern accent clear.

She blinked confused as I tipped my hat as a greeting.

"Well..he is not here at the moment but he should be back soon. Why don't you come in" she finally answered?

"By the way, my name is Esme Cullen"

"Lovely to meet you, Ma'am"

"You look familiar. Like we have met before. Could that be?" She asked with a questioning gaze as we walked up the stairs into the kitchen together.

"Not that I recall it Ma'am" I answered politely.

I sat down on one of the chairs in the kitchen and Esme finished putting some flowers in a vase.

The house was all glass and very open. I assumed that is the reason the vampires lived in the middle of the woods. Here nobody could see them.

We sat in comfortable silence for a while till we heard multiple cars pull up outside.

Jasper's scent was now much stronger and I almost moaned as I sniffed it.

I could detect five new scents, three males and two females.

A second later a loud voice boomed through the house.

"Mom, we're home and Alice thinks the hot chick will come soon. Oh hi?"

A big brunette male came into the room with a blonde under his arm. Behind him was a pixie-like girl with a tall lanky male.

As soon as Jasper came into the room he dropped his books and stared at me like I had three heads.

In seconds I was in his arms and he was taking in my scent giving out a quiet purr when our skin touched.

His arms were firmly wrapped around my waist and mine were around his shoulders. Holding onto him for dear life while his head was buried into my hair.

"So....is that Jasper's Mate?" Asked the big guy.

I pulled away from Jasper a little, but he pulled me back into his embrace and growled.

A chuckled and kissed his neck before he finally let me turn around to face the others, but his arms were snaked around my waist and I was firmly pressed against his chest.

"I am Silver. It is a pleasure meeting you"

"Hi I'm Emmett, this is my beautiful wife Rosalie. The tiny one that is a little crazy is Alive and the other dude is Blake. I would introduce Jasper but you kinda seem to know him already as he is stuck to you" the buffy guy said.

"That's my hat darlin' " came to a soft voice from behind me and my kees nearly fell to the ground when I heard it.

"Not anymore," I said tauntingly, then gasped as Jasper jabbed my side tickling me.

"I didn't recognize you with the hat on. I'm sorry, you did look familiar" came Esme's voice from the corner.

I smiled at her and then I was tackled by Alice with a hug.

"I am so happy to finally meet you" I shied away from her. The wars had taught me not to trust.

She looked startled and Blake pulled her back.

"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to..."

"It's okay, I am not too fond of physical contact, well except for Jazz"

"That's fine dear," said Esme.

Another car pulled up outside and we all turned our heads towards the door and a blonde male entered the kitchen.

He kissed Esme on the cheek before he noticed me properly.

"I am sorry. I didn't know we had a guest"
