JASPER

The next day it was sunny so we couldn't go to school. Emmett and Rose were probably in the woods prest against a tree doing 'stuff'.

Alice was sorting out her clothes, Blake and Carlisle were playing chess and Esme was drawing in the living room.

I heard a knock on the door and I turned my head to it.

"Yeah?"

"Hello, Jasper. I was worried about you. Would you like to tell me about her? About Silver?" Came Esme's caring voice.

I shuffled a little bit so I was sitting on my bed and she sat down beside me.

"She is beautiful. So beautiful and she had that smile that could light up the darkest of days. Her long hair smelled of wind and wood" I started and Esme smiled at me.

"You would always find her with a smile on her face if Maria wasn't around. We went dancing once. All the people in the bar stared at her but she ignored them all. It was like a dream. The ways she smiled when I spun her around the room. She stole my hat that evening and placed it on her head when I later tried to take it away from her she pouted and then I had to buy a new one because I couldn't bring myself to take it away from her. After that day she never took it off anymore. Just like dog tags. These aren't mine, they're hers. We loved to go stargazing. In Texas, the stars were brighter and we would lay there and stare at the stars. Her eyes would sparkle with joy every time she saw them."

"She sounds lovely. I am sure we will meet her soon"

The idea of her in my arms made me smile.

Esme gave me a reassuring smile and then left me alone. The rest of the day I just sat there and stared at the pictures of Silver and me. In the night we all went hunting together and had to listen to Rose being mad at Edward 'cause he was being an idiot for not just letting her kill Bella'.

We were on our way home when the wind changed slightly and the smell of human blood was in the air. Then I smelt a fire. It was a human eating vampire who was getting rid of the evidence from their last meal.

Carlisle looked worried but there was nothing we could do about it as we were very far out and this wasn't Forks anymore.

In school later that day Bella kept staring at us which was quite annoying. I also had the feeling that something was going to happen soon.

SILVER (finally)

I heard that Jasper was here. A nomad I met told me that he had joined the Cullens and was a 'vegetarian' vampire. In all honesty that sounded rather revolting. Animal blood was okay but it made us weaker and didn't taste as good as humans. There is nothing better than a good O- before lunch.

After years of being captured and starved by Maria, I finally escaped her and killed the vampire who was stopping me from using my gift.

It took me almost three months to find a lead on where Jasper could be.

The mate bond was pulling me towards him and yesterday I sensed a vampire when I was burning my meal.

I saw a huge house ahead and I pulled my cowboy hat down, which I stole from Jasper before I started walking towards the door. Evidently I was hit with Jasper's scent and I could have stood there for ages, just taking in this scent.
