In the mansion a room was shown with a teenage boy sleeping in his boxers with his blanket covering one leg and his other leg dangling from the edge of his bed until his alarm went off this was Dakota Levi the strongest duelist in Paradise City

As Dakota was peacefully sleeping away his alarm clock gave him a rude awakening

Dakota: *groan* Fuck

Dakota then slams his hand on his clock and sat up from his bed

Dakota: Well might as well get ready. Besides I'm really not looking forward to getting slapped by Yuzu's fan. Still need to find out where the hell she keeps that thing

After his music Dakota got out and got dressed and slid down the staircase railing meeting his mother

Mom: Dakota what did I say about using the railing

Dakota: I know, but I'm in a hurry. If I don't get to Yu Show on time Yuzu is going to use her fan on me!

Dakota then grabbed a sprinkle vanilla and chocolate frosted donut and left

Three different colored hippos were shown and started to dance

Gong: Hey what's with all that shaking?! We're not dancing we're dueling

In the observation room Yuya and Dakota were watching the duel leaving only Dakota to sigh at his cousin's tomfoolery however Yuzu wasn't happy

Yuzu slammed her hands on the control system causing it to spark and explode in smoke

The ARC system suddenly failed causing everything to disappear leaving Yuya in the air and immediately fall on the ground afterwards

Dakota: He'll feel that one in the morning

Yuzu: Yuya what do you have to say for yourself

Yuya than makes a face causing Dakota to snicker and Yuzu not impressed

It's a peaceful day outside, but Spike's outburst kind of ruined it

Spike: Our duel school is going down the tubes! We can't teach action dueling without an ARC system. Soon all our Yu Show students will turn into no shows. At times like this I wish I were principal of a cooking school!

Yuya: *sigh* I was just getting to my most dueltaining moves when the system went down

Nico: I'm Nico Smiley, dueling manager and promoter. Currently I represent the reigning Action Duel Champion the Sledgehammer

Dakota: *scoffs*

Nico: The Sledgehammer is hosting a fan appreciation day at the Leo Institute and as part of the festivities he's issued a one-on-one dueling challenge to Yuya and Dakota

Dakota: 100% I said it 3 years ago I'll say it again I'm not scared of some steroid abuser, but what's in it for the rest of us

Dakota: Well I'll be leaving to look for Yuya and take a shower... again

Dakota left and found Yuya sitting on the edge of the bridge

Spike, Gong, and Yuzu ran to the inside of the duel stadium where Yuya and Dakota would duel the Sledgehammer

Nico: You fans have been clamoring for this duel and now it's finally happening! Three years ago, the famous duel-tainer, Yusho Sakaki failed to defend his title against the Sledgehammer! Now Sakaki's own son and nephew will try to erase that disgrace!

Yuzu: Do you think they'll show up?

Gong: Who knows, but Gong's gut says they will

Dakota: Then you're gut is right Gong

They all turned around to see Dakota, his mom Ryoku, and Yuya's mom Yoko

Yuya was able to win his duel by doing something called pendulum summoning which surprised everyone

Dakota: *thought* Nice going cousin I knew you had it in you

Nico: That duel was incredible, but none of you should leave yet because now we have Yusho's nephew and the son of the strongest dragon duelist this world has seen, Ryuko Levi it's her one and only son Dakota Levi

Dakota then leaped off the railing in front of him launching himself into the air while pulling off a triple front flip and landing perfectly

Dakota: So you're supposed to be the Sledgehammer

Sledgehammer: Yes?

Dakota: Well I guess I should just call you hammer since my cousin took out the sledge part, but soon I'll turn you into a toy hammer

Nico: The duel hasn't even started and yet Dakota is throwing so many insults it might as well be a crime.

Dakota: *thought* Who should I bring out first?

Dakota: Huh?

Dakota: My turn, I draw! First I set the pendulum scale with scale 1 Odd-Eyes Persona Dragon and scale 8 Odd-Eyes Mirage Dragon. Now I can summon monsters from levels 2 through 7 all at the same time. I summon Autorokket Dragon, Shellrokket Dragon, and Odd-Eyes Phantom Dragon! Oh and because I have a rokket monster on the field I can summon Absorouter Dragon

Everyone was shocked at Dakota pendulum summoning and summoning 4 monsters too

Nico: Incredible folks! Dakota has proven he too can pendulum summon what a move!

Dakota: I'm not done yet Toy Hammer! Arrowheads confirmed! The summoning conditions are 3 or more effect monsters! I set Autorokket Dragon, Shellrokket Dragon, Absorouter Dragon, and Odd-Eyes Phantom Dragon in the link markers! My new power, become the source for my victory! Manifest, the future circuit that lights up my path!

Everyone was awe struck seeing Dakota pull of Link summoning, a summoning only a small group of people can do

Yuya: Wow! Dakota can pendulum summon

Ryuko: It must be because of his determination

Gong: Gong agrees. Dakota has always been a determined duelist who always gives his all.

Yuzu: I hope he knows what he's doing

Yoko: Come on Kota you got this

Spike: This is impressive

At the Leo Institute

Assistant: Sir we've detected another strong summoning

Declan: What is it?

Assistant: It's Pendulum again, but it's stronger than last time and... no way

Declan: What? What's the second one?

Assistant: It's Link summoning sir.

Declan was surprised and shocked to hear this

Declan: Show me the duel immediately

Everyone: Yes sir!

They showed the duel with Dakota dueling the Sledgehammer

Declan: Who is this boy

Assistant: His name is Dakota Levi sir he seems to be the nephew of Yusho Sakaki and the son of Ryuko Levi

Declan: So Yusho's sister had a son. What's his duel score

Assistant: His duel score is.... No way that's impossible

Declan: What is it now

Assistant: Sir. His duel score is 100%

Declan was flabbergasted by this and told them to keep an eye on the duel

Back at the Duel

Dakota: My new wind that pierces through the closed world! I Link summon! Appear, Link 4! BORELOAD DRAGON!!!

A monster that looked like a mix between a dragon and gun appeared on Dakota's field

Dakota: Now I activate Borreload Dragon's ability which allows him to take 500 attack points away from one of your monsters and I choose your Granite Battleguard. Now Borreload attack Boulder Battleguard

Sledgehammer: 6200 LP

Just then Boulder Battleguard appeared on Dakota's field

Sledgehammer: How is my Battleguard on your field

Dakota: Simple. Borreload's second ability at the start of the damage step the monster that Borreload targeted works for me, but at the end of my next turn it's destroyed. Now Boulder Battleguard attack Granite Battleguard

Sledgehammer: 5500 LP

Dakota: I end my turn

Sledgehammer: My move. I activate the spell Feast of the Wild LV 5! I can summon two level 5 monsters, so I summon Swamp Battleguard and Lava Battle guard. Now Swamp Battleguard attack Boulder Battleguard!

Dakota: 6900 LP

Sledgehammer: I end my turn

Dakota: My move, I draw! Now I activate Card of Sanctity this allows both of us to draw until we have six cards in our hand

Dakota drew six while Sledgehammer drew 5

Dakota: Now I activate my pendulum monsters to summon Background Dragon, Speedburst Dragon, Checksum Dragon, and Odd-Eyes Arc Pendulum Dragon again. Now I'll Link summon again too!

Everyone gasped while watching

Yuya: Dakota is link summoning again

Yuzu: No way!

Gong: Gong is shock, amazed, surprised, and astounded all at the same time

Spike: I'm speechless

Yoko: He really is your son Ryuko

Ryuko: And I'm proud to admit it

Back at the duel

Dakota: Here I go! Appear, the circuit that leads to the future! Arrowheads confirmed! The summoning condition requires 4 monsters! I set my Background Dragon, Speedburst Dragon, Checksum Dragon, and Boulder Battleguard! Appear, FIREWALL DRAGON!!! Feel the heart of the Cyberse!

A white and blue dragon appeared next to Borreload Dragon as they both roared in sync with each other

Dakota: Now Firewall Dragon's quick effect activates meaning I get 4 monsters that were used to create Firewall Dragon back to my hand. Now, Borreload Dragon attack him directly

Sledgehammer: 2500 LP

Dakota: Firewall Dragon attack him directly and end this duel with Tempest Terahertz!

Sledgehammer: 0 LP

Back at Leo Institute

Declan: I want a full background search on Dakota Levi like Yuya leave no stone unturned

After the duel everyone cheered chanting Dakota's name however this will be the day that Revolver starts to reemerge
