No one's POV:

Aya has started her special training after losing to Wakiya, which made feel free and alive....

Aya's POV:

-"LET IT RIP!!!"

I was facing Valt today while the others were watching. Valtryek has used the Flash Launch while Dawn used the Phoenix's Tears. Both clashed until Dawn managed to burst Valtryek, which was really surprising to be honest. Valt didn't seem to be upset, he picked up his Bey's pieces and complimented with delight :

Valt: Good job Aya!!! You really have imporved!!

Ken (Keru): Yeah, you might get a chance to face Wakiya again!

Aya: Yeah, I might...

Daigo: You alright? You seem...down to the dumps.

Rantaro: Yeah, what's on your mind?

I sat down while looking at the blue sky, then said:

Aya: I don't know guys, I mean...What if Wakiya was right? What if I don't stand a chance against him?

Valt: *GASP* DON'T SAY THAT!! IT'S NOT TRUE!!

Rantaro: Yeah! Why do you keep doubting yourself.

Aya: Ugh, it's just that I...I...

Daigo: You what?

I sighed and looked at them with a blank look. Then I added:

Aya: I had a lot of things in my mind lately, a part of me says that I shouldn't give up, but the other one tells that I'll never make it and it's just...so tiring.

Daigo: An inner struggle then, huh?

Aya: Exactly... you know why I'm feeling like this?

Valt: Why?

I averted my eyes from them, then I looked at them again and answered :

Aya: You see, back when I lived in Tunisia, I ...lacked self-esteem for many reasons. Sure, I was a smart kid, I had a good reputation in school and such...but, well...people wanted to befriend me not because of my personality, but only to exploit me, and when they're done...they stab me in the back and leave me like a corpse...

Valt: OMG THAT'S HORRIBLE!!!

Rantaro: Yeah, you OK now?

Aya: Not really, they made fun of me because I was "different" than any other girl. I didn't put makeup, I didn't like flashy clothes, heck I mostly talked about video games instead of boys! They all saw me as a weirdo and well, decided to use me for their goals......Not to mention they didn't stop gossiping about me. They will overreact if I made a mistake of any sort, as if I was a perfect angel or something... Which hurt even more since they weren't treating me like a normal human.

Ken (Besu): What happened after that?

Aya: Well, I pretty much decided to isolate myself. I felt like I didn't have a choice since this whole exploiting cycle kept repeating over, over and over again... I barely talked or cared about anyone else only if it was necessary. I only wanted friends who can accept me for what I am... But I couldn't find one,so I convinced myself that I don't need friends, that they're only waiting for the moment you become vulnerable, so they can strike ......

Daigo: Jeez, and I thought I was the only one who can't fit in...you really remind me of how I used to be before meeting Valt.

Ken (Keru): Yeah, us too.

Aya: Anyhow, after playing Mirror's Edge, I decided to practice parkour, it helped me clear my head from my thoughts and forget the stress. It stayed like this until ... I moved out....and well, you know the rest...

Rantaro: wow, you should write a novel about this....

Aya: I guess...

I stared at them for a moment and said :

Aya: You know, you guys helped me forget the pain of the past.... I really never any better. Otherwise I wouldn't open up to you I guess. I really appreciate your support and genuine kindness towards me. Without you, I don't think I would have gotten to beyblading ever……

Valt's eyes started sparkling while he grinned so he rushed towards me and tackled me into
a hug and said:

Valt: I'm glad you're feeling better now! We'll always be here for you!

Rantaro: Yep, just count on us!

Daigo: As long as we keep on Beyblading, nothing can seperate us.

Ken (Keru): I agree, we got your back.

Toko & Nika: Yay!!!

Aya: Thanks, all of you guys, I appreciate it.

Shu: I heard that.

We turned around and saw Shu with a smile on his face. He headed towards me and added:

Shu: I'm glad to see that Beyblading has changed you in the good way and made realize how important friends are. I'm sure when you'll get stronger, you'll reach the absolute, you just need to work harder.

Aya: Thank you so much Shu, It really means a lot to me.

Wakiya: Well well well look who it is.

We've all looked behind us and found none other than Wakiya who was standing with his hands on his hips and the same smug look on his face, oh great!

Aya: What do ya want Wakiya?

Wakiya: Isn't it obvious?  I'm here to demand a rematch.

Aya: What?  Why though?

Wakiya: Well, I felt pity for you last time, and thought that you perhaps deserve a second chance, if you win I'll take back what I said, but if you lose, well …you gotta quit beyblading. So what do you say?

I stared at him with a hint of fury on my face, is he mocking me?! Just why was he doing it?

Shu: Do you mind telling us what are you trying to do exactly Wakiya?

Wakiya: Easy, I heard about that girl's "special training", and since I knew she wanted to beat me so bad, I decided to challenge her again to make sure she won't catch up with me you know, by the way, if she doesn't accept, then I won't battle her at all.

I looked at the spoiled Goldilocks whom I wanted to beat up so much right now,  so I breathed in. and out… and said:

Aya: Deal

BC (Beyclub): WHHHHAAAAAT?!

Wakiya: Excellent, heh heh, prepare yourself.

Rantaro: WHAT DID YOU DO?! YOU REALIZE THAT YOU'RE NOT PREPARED YET TO FACE WAKIYA RIGHT?!

I gave everyone a serious glare before sighing and answered :

Aya: I know what I'm doing sounds stupid, but I feel like I got no choice.  I have to face him today, or else I never will in the future... So trust me.

Shu: Well, it's your choice, so go ahead.

I nodded and prepared myself along with Wakiya while Shu was the refree of the match, this is it, my last chance, I can't waste it……

-3!!!!………2!!!!………1!!!! LET IT RIP!!!!"

The battle has finally begun,  Dawn Phoenix was circling around the stadium while Wild Wyvron reached the center.
So I shouted :

-"DAWN PHOENIX!! BURNING LAUNCH!!!"

Dawn's speed increased and charged towards Wyvron but…no matter how much she attacked, it didn't work……

Aya: What the?

Wakiya: See, just like I told you. Wyvron is the strongest Bey in the universe, your attack is weak against his defense. NOW HAVE A TASTE OF MY ULTRA SHIELD CRASH!!!

Aya: Your what now?!?!

Then I noticed the same Shield Crash technique happened again, but it was more powerful, which meant…oh God, the last match, he was holding back... Suddenly, next thing I knew, Dawn Phoenix got flung outta the stadium which left me too shocked to even react.

Shu:……Wyvron wins with a survival finish. Wakiya wins the first round.

Wakiya: Heh, you're so predictable. Sooner or later, it'll come to the same end, I'll surely win, while you'll lose obviously. Too bad your Bey didn't burst though.

I didn't say anything else, I just picked up Dawn Phoenix and looked at her, suddenly, I heard Valt yell :

Valt: AYA!!! COM'ON DON'T GIVE UP YET!!! 

Shu: You got this,  you just have to focus, don't let him get through you.

Rantaro: Yeah! You gotta show Goldilocks here who's boss! Don't let him underestimate you!

Ken (Keru): Just keep going!

Ken (Besu): Yeah!  You can do it!

Daigo: We're here for you…all the way.

Toko & Nika: We believe in you!!

My eyes widened while looking at my friends …They all believed in me that much?  I was really about to cry,  how come I didn't have friends like them back in Tunisia? Suddenly, I felt something inside of me, along with Dawn Phoenix, is this what it felt like to be confident?…Because if it was, boy did it feel good! I grinned to myself and thought :

"Come on Dawn, we can do this. Together, nothing can stop us, we will emerge victorious as long as we stay determined..... I believe in you"

Phoenix shone, yep, I knew we got this, I prepared myself as if I was about to jump, it was now or never…

Wakiya's POV:

That girl…seems like she has a plan, judging by the grin on her face …But it doesn't matter, I know that I'm gonna be the winner…

Aya's POV:

-"3!!!!……2!!!!……1!!!!……LET IT RIP!!!!"

I jumped while doing a back flip as I launched my Bey, which made Wakiya surprised a little... It was time to show Goldilocks what a girl like me can do..... Wakiya then said:

-" ULTRA SHIELD CRASH!!! GO!! "

The same thing occured again, but I felt something burning inside of me…it.. was.....Determination...

Aya: DAWN PHOENIX!!  I BELIEVE IN YOU!!! NOW SOAR!!! USE YOUR SHRIEK OF FREEDOM!!!

Wakiya: Wait!!!  What?!!!

Dawn has heard me out and was finally summoned,  I heard her soaring as if she was an eagle with fire forming around her, it was so thrilling.  Suddenly, some sort of a fire tornado emerged around her, which made spin like crazy fast, while she unsheathed her hidden blades and charged towards Wyvron. Wakiya seemed pretty nervous, while the others were pretty astonished!!!

Wakiya: AGGH!!! WYVRON!!! CRUSH HER!!! SHOW HER HER PLACE!!!

Then, a purple Wyvern with a blue gem on his head appeared and roared in fury.... They both clashed with no mercy…Until…

*CRASH!!*

Wyvron…burst

Wakiya had the "Nani?!" look as his companion burst in front of his eyes, while I had a shocked yet victorious one. As Wyvron's pieces scattered, Shu announced:

-" A Burst Finish for Dawn Phoenix. Aya wins the match."

Upon hearing these words, I started jumping from joy abd dancing like a pro, I finally did it! I taught him a lesson he won't have forget!

Valt: WOW AYA THAT WAS AMAZING!!!

Toko:  Yeah!  What's that new move called?!

AYA: Um…Shriek Of Freedom…How about dat?

Rantaro: Nice!

Wakiya: I-Impossible!  This c-can't be…I was supposed to win!!!  Not you!!!

Aya: Aww, is little Murasaki mad because a "peasant" kicked his butt~?

Wakiya: SHUT IT!!! AGHHH I CAN'T BELIEVE I MESSED UP!!!

Aya:  Guess what's more messed up than your loss?! your life!!!

Rantaro: Ooooooooh!

Ken (Keru): Got 'em!

Daigo: Wow, the burn…

Wakiya: WHY YOU-!

Aya: Now apologize!  A deal is a deal after all!

Wakiya had the "Ooooh heck no" look but since it was a bet he knew he had to…

Aya: Come on!  Swallow your pride like a man!

Wakiya: UGH FINE!!! *sigh* Girl…

Aya: My name is Aya El Ayeb.

Wakiya: Ugh, Aya El Ayeb…I… I apologize for everything that I have said…

Aya: And?

Wakiya: Ugh, you are a great Blader and I was wrong the entire time... You happy now?

Aya: Completely satisfied, you know Wakiya, if you stopped with that attitude, I might be your friend :3

Wakiya: Yeah no…

And with that he picked up Wyvron's pieces and left after his loss……
