No one's POV:

Aya has done well against her opponents so far... But there's one more..... Daigo Kurogami (the smol edgy potato) and the last member who stands in the way of her goal: Joining the Beyclub. Little did she know that Daigo wasn't the type of guys to mess around when it came to Beyblading and a challenge . His Bey, Dark Doomscizer, was ready to make a casket for Dawn Phoenix and Aya's goal...

Daigo's POV:

Just because she's a girl doesn't mean I'll go easy on her. Not to mention she's the one who accepted my challenge. She may have defeated the others with her Balance Bey that I believe it was called Dawn Phoenix , which I admit was really impressive. But I wasn't in the mood to really care after what happened to me earlier, I was also ready, I believed in Doomscizer after all. All I needed was to focus, if I did, then defeating her will surely be a piece of cake since she has no experience ...

Aya's POV:

Daigo and I got into our positions. He gave me the " Omae wa mou shindeiru " look. Dang this little emo boi really ain't playing! Oh boy why did I feel like he's gonna give me a ride to my worst nightmares?! Maybe because he's edgy and cute at the same time. Oh well, I had to do this... I breathed in, and out... Ken, who was the refree of this match started counting with his puppets:

-"3!!!.........2!!!.........1!!! LET IT RIP!!!!"

We both launched our Beys, the final battle has begun. But I noticed Daigo's expression. He... had a smirk on his face while his eyes were even more shadowed.... to be honest, it was intimidating. But I snapped out of my nervousness and said:

Aya: BURNING LAUNCH!!!

Daigo: Heh..........You think that's gonna work on me?

Aya: What?

Daigo: I'll show you how Beyblading works!!!! DOOMSCIZOR!!! QUAKE LAUNCH!!! NOW!!!

And as he said that, bats emerged from his Bey and Dark Doomscizor has been summoned. He really looked like the Grim Reaper, and he had two deadly scythes. Dawn charged at him with the Burning Launch, but he was too fast for her... He managed to catch up with her and both clashed. Next thing I knew, Phoenix got flung into the air, but thankfully didn't burst. I looked at Daigo with a shocked face while he gave me the same creepy look....Welp, I am a dead girl...

Ken (Keru): A Survival Finish for Dark Doomscizor! Daigo wins the first round!

Daigo: Seriously? Is that all you got? I was expecting more...

Aya: Aw come on! Cut me some slack, I'm new to this!

Daigo: I know... But you gotta try harder. Remember, if you lose, you won't join us.

He was right though, I had to win this battle.... So I started thinking of a new strategy ... my special moves won't work against him. So I thought, why not using ...the fundamentals?

" Yeah, that might work."

I aimed like Shu taught me the first time. This was the only option I had. But I knew somehow that it will work...

Valt's POV:

I noticed that Aya's aim was different ... it was so... basic. I didn't get it until the realization hit me. She's gonna use the fundamentals! Just like I did with Daigo back in the District Tournament! That's really smart! I hope she can make it!

Daigo's POV:

That girl...is trying to use the basics like Valt did. I know I've seen this kind of trick before, but I was still kinda nervous, since the battle may last for God knows when until one of our Beys bursts. I closed my eyes for a second while taking a deep breath. She looked at me, determination filled in her very dark brown eyes that seemed black like mine for a second. That look...it kinda reminded me of my little brother Ryota, everytime we Bey battled. But I shook my head to brush it off, it was not the time for good memories, because this was war......

Aya's POV

-"3!!!!.........2!!!!.........1!!!! LET IT RIP!!!"

The second round started, I didn't use any of my special moves yet. I just left Dawn Phoenix be this time. Daigo didn't seem to care and said:

-" I've seen that trick before!! Don't you think it will work on me again! Doomscizor! Crush her Bey!!!

Dark Doomscizor has been summoned again, but I wasn't fazed, in fact, I kept grinning which left Daigo confused. Suddenly, both Beys made contact and ...they burst at the same time.

Aya: Woah!

Daigo: Tsk.........

Aya: Sooooo, what happens now?

Shu: When the two Beyblades stop spinning, get knocked out or burst simultaneously, the two players must have a third round. If the same happens again, they have no choice but battle again, and so on ...until only one wins.

Aya: I see, but I must say Daigo, you've got awesome skills buddy!

Daigo: Keep your compliments to yourself ...

Aya: No! I'm being serious! I never thought Beyblading is so fun, I regret everything I thought about it before! I wish I can battle you and everyone else always Daigo!

Daigo's POV:

I was taken back by everything she said... For some reason, it sounded so...genuine, just like Ryota. I have to admit...she may not be ...that bad like I thought. Even if I wasn't feeling good earlier, I shouldn't misjudge her. I don't know why, but, I kinda like her now...

Aya's POV:

We started again... our Beys burst. We tried again, the same thing... And like Dj Khaled said: Another one, another one and yet another one ... However, I noticed Daigo smiling, not in a creepy way, but genuinely. I was really glad I managed to bring a smile on someone's face. Unfortunately, this loop had to stop, so I said :

Aya: DAWN PHOENIX!!! BURNING LAUNCH !!!

Daigo: QUAKE LAUNCH!!!

Suddenly, Dark Doomscizor got flung into the air, and poor Daigo had to watch his partner burst in front of him. The boy made a shocked, sad expression, but he picked up his Bey and smiled:

Daigo: Alright I admit...You're not bad. In fact, you might become really strong in the future, you have great potential within ...

Valt: Hey Daigo! I wanted to know, why were you upset a while back? What was that mark on your cheek?!

Daigo: Well, I can't really hide this from you any longer so I'll tell you...A group of kids picked on me and-

Aya: SAY WHAT?! THEY BULLIED YOU?! HOW DARE THEY TOUCH SOMEBODY LIKE YOU!!? WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU WORLD?!

Rantaro: Jeez calm down! You really are like Valt.

Aya: I DON'T CARE!! DAIGO!! YOU DESERVE A HUG FROM ME MATE!!

Daigo: N-No! No more hugs!

The smol edgelord tried to run away but I eventually caught him by glomping him, don't worry though, I didn't break his bones, but managed to make him blush 50 shades of red. How adorable 😊

Rantaro: Hey Daigo, it's seems like somebody proved you wrong, and embarrassed you ~

Daaigo: Honcho, are you wanting me to grant you a death wish or what?

Rantaro: Pffffffttttt I was kidding! By the way, good job! You finally made it here! We have all decided that you can join us!

Valt: YAY! I'M SO GLAD TO KNOW THAT YOU'LL BE WITH US!

Ken (Keru): Good job, you deserve it.

Daigo: Yeah, I agree, b-but please let go...

So I left the ravenette boy alone to give him space. Honcho pat my shoulder while smiling along with Ken who was nibbling my hair cutely with Keru and Besu, and Valt almost squeezed the life outta me with his hugs, as for Shu who was smiling, he decided to leave us in peace... it was all fine and dandy until ...

-"WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON HERE?!"

All of us, confused, have turned around and saw none other than Ayoub... it was at this moment I knew, I done messed up...

Ayoub's POV:

School was over a while back, so I waited for Aya outside the front gate. Yet she didn't come. My older brother instinct told me that something was off since she was taking so long, and since I pretty much started to worry, I decided to look for her. I searched every area around the school even if was huge. I had to find her, it was my job to protect her as her big brother. But after a while of searching, I started panicking while thinking of what possibly might happen to her if I don't find her. Then I remembered ...The rooftop! Of course! It was the only place I didn't search yet. I ran upstairs quickly, when I almost got there, I saw someone with red eyes and white hair who seemed familiar, but since I was hurrying I didn't get to see his features. When I got there you wouldn't believe what I saw ... It was Aya, with 4 boys... 4 FREAKING BOYS!! This was not a drill, but a dang Red Code, they even started touching her!!!!!! OH HECK NAW!!!!

Ayoub: WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON HERE?!

Aya: A-Ayoub?

Ayoub: GET YO HANDS OFF MAH SISTER OR ELSE I'M GONNA WIPE THE FLOOR WITH YOU!!!

Aya's POV:

After his outburst, they all stopped and looked terrified... Gosh dang it Ayoub!

Rantaro: Wait, that guy's your brother?!

Daigo: Well, you two look alike so...

Valt: Oh hey there! Nice to meet you Aya's brother! You're so lucky to have a great sister like her!

Ayoub glared daggers at us, as if he was going to murder whoever touched me, which was strange from him.

Ayoub: Aya!!! I demand an explanation immediately!!!

Aya: They're my new friends!!!

Ayoub: Why a bunch of guys though?!

Aya: Calm down they didn't do anything wrong!!! Why do you care anyways?!

Ayoub: I care because you're my sister Aya!!! You're my blood!!! I can't allow you to get hurt by anyone!! I know you might not believe me since I mistreat you on many occasions, but trust me when I say that I care about your well being. Mom ordered me to protect you, and I must do so!! I'm just worried that these guys might hurt you like your past "friends" did back at home, so please understand that I'm doing this for your own good!!!

I was really astonished by everything he said, he wasn't kidding. I can tell it by looking at his eyes. I sighed while smiling and said:

Aya: Ayoub, I really don't know how to thank you for all of this, I couldn't ask for a better big brother. You and my lil' bro Elyes mean everything to me. Heck I would have beaten somebody to death if they dare touching you. But don't worry about me, these guys over here are very nice! And they even let me join the Beyclub!

Ayoub: Beyclub? Wait, you're into Beyblading now?!

Aya: Yeah, and you were both right. It's really amazing, I can't believe I wasn't interested in it before and I regret it! Heck I met Shu Kurenai himself whose my freaking classmate!

Ayoub: What?! No way!!!!

Aya: It's true! See, don't worry about me, and give them a chance, Pleeeeeaaase?

Ayoub looked at them, then back at my puppy eyes. He sighed and nodded which made me really happy, but then he said to the others:

-" I'll give you all one chance to be my sister's friends. But hear me out, dare harm her in any way: Hit her, insult her, make her cry... hehe, and trust me, you'll never see the light of the day again.. I'll hunt each one of you down, break into your houses, kill you all, then burn down all your residences to the ground, capiche?"

Everyone was terrified by his warning, even Daigo got startled a bit. All of them nodded their heads quickly so Ayoub said:

"-Cool, come downstairs when you're done"

He shoved his hands into his hoodie's pockets and left...well that was quite the scene...
