No one's POV:

Everything was normal. The lesson was about the Industrial Revolution and Victorian London, in which Aya answered the question correctly while others were surprised by how much knowledge she had. Oh and Valt got busted and scolded by the teacher since he was doodling all this time and not actually paying attention, which only earned a sigh from shu and him shaking his head in exasperation . Yep, just a normal day....

Valt's POV:

Finally the first lesson is over, man Aya must have really read a lot of history books to understand it! I was barely focusing on it since I was thinking about practicing with my lovely partner Victory Valtryek! I was pretty excited about it, and I thought about asking Aya, if she happens to be a Beyblader, to join the Beyclub. That way, it'll finally be official!!!
Anyhow, once we got out, Aya said:

Aya: Valt, you must stop getting distracted, or else you might detention.

Valt: I know! But I just got a lot to do today!!! But seriously, how did you know all that stuff?!

Aya: Oh, I played the game series Assassin's Creed, which is bsed on historical events. One of the games called Syndicate was based on what we learnt today, so yeah...

Valt: Woah! You're a gamer?! Man I never thought video games can teach you stuff!!!

Aya: The more you know mate.

Valt: Let's try to get through the day now so we can hang out later!!!

Aya: Okie dokie 😝

4 hours later :

Aya's POV:

Finally! We're done for the day, I mostly hated the Math lesson since I suck at it! Like equations, "Algebro" (lol), finding X and Pitagora in Geometry...just too much thinking!!! I don't even know how Ayoub understands those things in many languages!! Anyways, I was waiting for Valt who rushed towards me like Sonic the Hedgehog. He stopped to catch his breath, then asked with excitement:

Valt: So you're ready!!!??

Aya: I was born ready. But Valt...I wanna ask you something.

Valt: Sure!!! What is it?!

Aya: Say, are you a Beyblader like Shu?

Valt: Hehehe! Of course I am!!!! I have my own Bey and it's called Victory Valtryek!! It's an Attack type! You have one too?!

Aya: Actually, yes... But I don't know anything about Beyblading yet since I got mine like yesterday, not to mention I wasn't interested at first. Can you help me by perhaps teaching me some stuff about it?

Valt *Gasp* Yeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!😄

Aya: Um....Valt?!

Valt: I'M SO GLAD YOU ASKED!!! OF COURSE I'LL HELP YOU!!! COM'ON LET'S HEAD UPSTAIRS!!! I'M SURE WE CAN FIND SHU HERE, AND HE MIGHT HELP YOU TOO!!!

Valt grabbed my hand and started dragging me to the rooftop, which pretty much starled me. Dang this guy is really an energetic social butterfly. In any case, we got to the rooftop, only to see Shu training, he kneeled then launched his Bey while shouting :

-" LET IT RIP!!!"

Strom Spryzen was spinning like crazy fast around the stadium ...maybe faster than the blink of an eye , while leaving a trail of red sparks behind, and moving in circles . Woah, he seems to be taking this sport seriously. Valt got close to the latter and greeted him brightly :

Valt: Hey Shu!! Fancy seeing you here.

Shu: Oh, hey Valt...and Aya. It's good to see you here too...

He picked up his Bey after it stopped spinning. Then he asked:

Shu: So Valt, wanna battle?

Valt: I'd love too Shu! But maybe later.

Shu: That's odd, you'd never say that every time I challenge you.

Valt: I know! But Aya needs help.

Shu: With what exactly?

Aya: You see Shu...I wanna be a Blader, and I already got my By. But the problem is, I don't know anything about this sport, so... Can you help me?

Shu smiled and nodded while saying:

-" Sure, why not? It'll be nice teaching you, now...show me your Bey if you have it with you now.

I was really shocked...He actually accepted!!! In any case, I showed him Dawn Phoenix. He started examining it, then said with the same smile across his face after giving it back:

Shu: That Beyblade, is a Balance type like mine... Yet its structure, is one of a kind, I can tell it has great potential within, you just need training to unlock it.

Aya: Wow, now that sounds cool!!! But say Shu, what are the Beys' types?

Shu: There are four types: Attack, Defense, Balance and Stamina. Each one has its own capabilities and flaws, but with enough practicing, the Blader will manage to control it and both will eventually become powerful.
Aya: Amazing, hey. Can you show me how to launch my Bey properly.

Shu: Sure, now focus with me...

Valt was minding his business while cleaning Valtryek with a cloth he had, yet he kept watching.... Shu then said:

-" Alright, we'll start with the fundamentals. Put your Bey on the launcher, then try to kneel down."

And so I did what he said carefully... Then he continued:

-" Good, now... It's time to launch it, there are many positions you can make before launching, but we'll talk about it later. There are two ways to launch: Downwards which is for Attacking the opponent, and straight for taking defense, but since your Bey is Balance, I don't think you'll have to worry about which way to launch. Now I'll count to three, once I say "Let it rip" you launch, OK."

I nooded, showing that I understood everything he said. Then I looked at the stadium, and slowly aimed my launcher downwards, I breathed in....and out, while trying my best to clear my head. Then I heard Shu count:

-3!!!...2!!!...1!!!...LET IT RIP!!"

And so, I launched my Bey that left a magenta-red spark. It landed swiftly like a bird would do and started spinning really quickly around the stadium.

Shu: It's really fast, you did well on your first try. Good job.

Valt: Woah! It's really fast!!!

Aya: IKR?!

Dawn Phoenix was doing some sort of circling motions, the trail of sparks never leaving her. After some minutes m, it came to a stop. I picked it up and grinned while looking at it:

Aya: I never thought that I'd do great on my first try..Good job, Dawn.

Shu: Great, you've learned the fundamentals. But don't forget, you can make your own moves and even launching methods. After all, creativity is something important in beyblading....

Aya: Thanks Shu, I'm glad I've been taught by you.

Shu: You're welcome

Valt: Hey Aya! How about you battle me?! I know you're still new to this, but think of it as a practice round!!

Aya: Sure!! I wanna see what Dawn Phoenix is capable of!!

Valt: Alright!! Let's do this thing!!!

Shu: Then I'll be the refree. Now let me tell you the rules, a survival finish, which means knocking out the opponent's Bey out of the stadium equals one point, the same thing goes for Ring Out Finish which is making the opponent's Bey stop spinning. But a Burst Finish...which is breaking the opponent's Bey to pieces, costs two points, and means the end of the match. Don't worry if your Beyblade got burst though Aya, you can put the pieces back together...

Aya: Okie dokie.

Shu: Now get set...

Shu stood in the middle, while I was on the right and Valt was on the left... He prepared his Bey and kneeled while aiming downward, which meant that he planned to face me head on. But I decided to maybe... Spice it up a bit, Shu said that creativity was allowed after all. I didn't fully kneel and waited for the right moment... We both started at each other in total excitement. Then, we started counting:

- "3!!!....2!!!...1!!! LET IT RIP!!!!"

I leaped quickly, making a front flip and launched Phoenix swiftly along with Valt who launched Valtryek. The two boys were surprised but Valt didn't get fazed, but instead he grinned in total euphoria and added :

-"ALRIGHT!!! I NEVER HAD A BEY BATTLE FOR A WHILE, SO I HOPE YOU'RE READY TO SEE OUR POWER AYA!!!"

He looked at the two Beys and screamed:

-"VALTRYEK!!!! RUSH LAUNCH!!!"

I didn't know what was that, but it seemed to be a powerful ability he had. Valtryek was coming at full speed to attack. Suddenly I felt something getting triggered inside of me, like some sort of an instinct ... I clenched my right fist, and raised my left hand, and shouted:

-"I am just getting started!!!!! DAWN PHOENIX!!! I BELIEVE IN YOU!!! SHOW HIM YOUR TRUE STRENGTH!!!!"

Dawn started also speeding up towards Valtryek, leaving a burning trail behind it instead of the magenta-red one it had earlier. It made contact with Valt's Bey quickly until.....

Valtryek got knocked out of the stadium, Valt had a shocked look on his face, and to be honest, me too... I didn't really expect that.

Shu: A Survival Finish for Dawn Phoenix, one point for Aya... That's kinda impressive.

Valt picked up Valtryek, he didn't seem to be upset, but he kept that grin on his face and said:

Valt: Good job Aya!!! Man I can't believe it, I am already excited!!! I wish we can battle like this forever and ever!!!!

???????: Maybe another time Valt.

Once I heard that voice, I picked up Dawn Phoenix and turned around to meet the new strange visitor.....

It was a boy who seemed to be as well around my age, yet he looked a bit taller than me. He had fair skin, blonde hair and brown eyes. He wore a black gakuran jacket with a red tank top underneath it. He also wore matching gakuran trousers with a white sash around the waist, and brown shoes. He also had a bandaid on his nose and a lollipop as well. And he seemed to carry a large white paper fan on his back. He got closer to us while still having a smug look on his face. Valt was smiling upon seeing him and said:

Valt: Hey Rantaro!!! I never thought I'd see you here.

Rantaro: What? Do you think I won't come here? I saw everything...

Aya: Excuse me, but who are you?

Rantaro kept that confident look on his face and pulled out his large fan and said:

-" You are in front of the Head Honcho Rantaro Kyama. We may not know each other, but I've seen what you did with that Beyblade of yours, and to be honest, I was impressed, it's not easy to knock out Valtryek since it grew a lot stronger. "

Since I learned Japanese, I knew that Honcho meant Boss, which means that this dude's really popular or something. So I shook his hand and said:

-Well nice to meet you Honcho, I am Aya El Ayeb, a new student... and a new beyblader.

But then Rantaro gave me a cheeky nervous smile and said:

- Don't take this as an offense please...But this is the first time I've ever seen a girl beyblade. I kinda thought that you..ain't good at it and you'll never be.

Aya: EXQUEEZE ME?!

Rantaro: C-Calm down girl I didn't mean to-

Aya: THAT'S SEXISM!!! DISCRIMINATION!!! DR MARTIN LUTHER KING WOULD NOT STANNND FOR THIS (Well he would not sit down either...) I DON'T GO BY STEREOTYPES, NU UH, NOT TODAY!!!!

Rantaro: Wow, I didn't thought you'll take what I said this seriously...

Aua: How about we have a match so I can prove you that I can be a great Beyblader?! Do you accept?!

Rantaro smirked while keeping his fan and pointed it at me as if it was a sword or something, then said:

-Challenge accepted... Say hello to Roktavor!!!!

Then he showed me an orange Bey that seemed very different than the others I've seen so far.
Then Shu said:

- Roktavor is a Stamina Type Bey... Which means it can last longer than others if you don't manage to defeat it.... So prepare yourself...

Aya: I will, 'cause all cool kids are doing it!!!!

I was prepared... I knew it in my guts, it was time to show this "boss" what I can do....
