No one's POV:

The Beyclub has met Ukyo Ibuki AKA the Shadow-Walker. He, along with his Defense Bey Uber Unicrest, defeated Daigo.  Now it was time for Rantaro to battle him.....

Rantaro's POV:

That Ukyo,  he may have beaten Daigo…but with Roktavor on my side, I know we can do it… this time, I'll aim for offense.....
Rantaro: Wait a sec!  Don't start yet!

Xander: What's the matter Rantaro?  Are you nervous or something?

I walked towards my friends and said :

Rantaro: Daigo, I want you to tell me everything you know about Unicrest since you battled him…And I want you along with everyone else to cheer for me in this fight!

Ken (Keru): Whoa!  Honcho is asking for  help? Unbelievable!

Valt: Don't worry buddy!  We'll be with you all the way!

Daigo: Alright, let me see……I noticed that Unicrest's tip has needles in the bottom that help him to stay still and balanced, which is why my attacks barely affected him…………You need to use an unpredictable move if you want to stop him………

Rantaro: Ok!  Got it!  Thanks for the tip!

Valt: Hey, why don't you use the Flash Launch?!

Aya: But that's not his technique though, it's yours Valt……

Valt: Uhhhh……Oh silly me hehe…

Ken:…………………

Daigo: Ken? Are you OK?

Ken (Besu): Oh yes, we are……

Aya: Anyways, go out there Honcho and kick his butt!!!

I looked at everyone one more time, before preparing myself self and signaling the refree to start counting ……

-3!!!……2!!!……1!!! LET IT RIP!!!!"

Alrighty, time to teach this guy some manners... I had a plan after all… Roktavor was circling the Stadium

Ukyo: I know all your moves, you're pretty predictable....

Rantaro: OK Roktavor!!!  You got this!!! 

Roktavor went the opposite direction and got behind Unicrest, great!  He attacked him!
Ukyo: What the?……hmph, is that all you got?

Rantaro: Don't underestimate me! Roktavor! Keep on attacking!!

Roktavor charged towards Unicrest again and again, it was kinda similar to Valt's Flash Launch,  which worked since Uber started heading towards the spikes.

Ukyo: No way! 

Rantaro: Now Roktavor!  Finish him off!!!

He finally got hit by the spikes but he also got deflected towards Roktavor, dang it!  They both made contact for the last time, before they stopped……

-" A simultaneous Ring Out Finish! It's a draw!!"

Ukyo: Really? I'm tired of these draws..... pathetic……

Rantaro: What do you mean?!

Ukyo: You copied Valt's Flash Launch obviously…instead of being a copycat, start using your original moves will you?

Rantaro: Grrrrr, why you-!!!

Valt: Honcho!!  Calm down!!

Aya: He's just doing that to make you lose your focus!  Don't listen to him! 

I looked at my friends again and sighed, they're right, he's just messing with me, soon enough, I'll teach him a lesson… I had a plan B after all…

-"3!!!……2!!!……1!!! LET IT RIP!!!"

The second round begun: Roktavor has reached the center this time, while Unicrest went for offense…

Rantaro: Time to show you my durability!!  ROKTAVOR ZONE!! GO!!

Roktavor has been summoned, and Unicrest's blows didn't work on them,  good,  it's working!

Ukyo: So this was your plan all along?!

Rantaro: EXACTLY!! TASTE OUR POWER!!

Unicrest's blows were getting weaker! And finally, he got knocked out and stopped spinning! I won!

-" A Ring Out finish for Roktavor! Rantaro wins the second round with one point to nothing!"

Rantaro: Yes! 

Ukyo: Darn it……

Xander: See Ukyo? You shouldn't have underestimated them at all……Your arrogance is blinding you easily.

Ukyo: …I guess…

Rantaro: I'm ready for the next round! 

Ukyo: I guess I have no choice but to do it…

Aya: Do what exactly?

Xander: The Alicorn Launch…

Yugo: Wait,  Xander! Don't tell them about our secrets ……

Xander: Hahaha!  Calm down Yugo!  This ain't a secret.  As you guys may already know, Unicrest is equipped with 10 blades: 9 that protect him and a needle sticking out like a Unicorn's horn,  and with that needle, the Alicorn Launch happens.

Toko: I searched for it, but I couldn't find anything…

Nika: That means he still didn't use it yet…

Ukyo: Exactly, prepare to be amazed …

Anyhow, we positioned ourselves, it was time to see this "Alicorn Launch" and its deal…[the parentheses means what the characters are thinking]

Daigo: (This Alicorn Launch ……I wonder what's capable of…If it's  really that strong…Then Roktavor has to be careful and use his special move) Be ready Honcho!  Don't lose!

Rantaro: I may not know this technique!  But I was born ready! 

-"3!!!!.......2!!!!!.......1!!!!! LET IT RIP!!!!"

The third round started, it was time to end this, once and for all….. Yet there was a problem,  Unicrest already reached the center…

Ken (Keru): Welp, this is a problem…

Roktavor clashed with him, but Uber barely moved a few inches because of his darn tip, until Ukyo said :

Ukyo: Hehehe, NOW!  ALICORN LAUNCH!!

Suddenly,  Unicrest got summoned, and just like everyone expected, it was a unicorn with a mane and tail made out of ice, God you have no idea how much I'm afraid of those things ((Fun Fact: Rantaro is scared of unicorns)). Unicrest charged with that needle he had, which was his "horn" towards Roktavor and hit him!  Oh no, he went towards the spikes!!  And……

*CRASH!!!*

He…burst…I lost…

Aya's POV:

Oh no…Honcho lost!  This isn't good! That Alicorn Launch is truly a big problem for us! 

-" A Burst Finish for Uber Unicrest! ukyo wins the match with two points to one! "

Ukyo: Well, that was easy…

Honcho was really upset now, he kept growling and clenching his fists as if he's about to punch someone in the face. I wanted to cheer him up until Ken came behind me and put Keru and Besu on my shoulders while saying:

Ken (Besu): Let him calm down first…

Aya: But I wanna cheer him up...

Ken (Keru): Let us take care of it.. Hey Honcho!

Rantaro: What?!  😠

Ken (Besu): Com'on, look at the bright side , you did great against Ukyo.

Ken (Keru): So don't be upset, OK?

Valt: Yeah!  You were amazing out there!

Rantaro: Wait, really?

Xander: Hahahaha ! That was a great match!  As for you Ukyo…

Ukyo: Huh?

Xander: You should cut it out with that arrogant attitude and stop underestimating your opponents...

Ukyo: B-But I won…

Xander: I know, still, your Alicorn Launch wasn't strong enough. If it weren't for the spikes, Rantaro might have defeated you. So you should train harder…

Ukyo: ………I see, don't worry Xander, I will…………

Xander: Thanks for teaching Ukyo a lesson, even though you lost,  it was an awesome battle Rantaro! Hahahaha!

Rantaro: Heh, thanks....

Valt: Ukyo!!!  I wanna battle you!!

Ukyo: Oh really?

Xander: Hahahaha! Sorry guys,  but it's time for training! We'll continue later…

Ukyo: Alright, I'm coming.

Yugo: Wait for me!

Everyone was actually excited to join Xander. Yet I noticed there was something off……It was Ken. He seemed ……down lately, as if something bothered him a lot, heck even Daigo noticed it. I headed towards Ken who was deep in his thoughts and asked him with a hint of concern :

Aya: Hey Ken…Are you alright? Is there something bothering you?

Ken (Besu): Oh yeah, we're fine…

Aya: If you say so, come train with us.

Ken (Keru):……No thanks, we'll train alone…

Then he left, I know that he was lying, this was something bugging him…everyone noticed that.

Toko: Is Ken ok?

Valt: I don't know, but I can tell that something's off with him!

Rantaro: Yeah, you're probably right..

Daigo: I suggest we follow him...

Aya: Ok, let's go!

We left the twins and started running towards the forest until we saw Ken sprinting as fast as he can.

Valt: KEN!! COME BACK HERE !!!

Rantaro: Holy moly! I never thought he can be this quick! 

Daigo: Just why is he running?!

Rantaro: Hey Aya,since you're a freerunner,  try to catch up with him!

Aya: Count on me homie!

I increased my speed, therefore catching up with Ken easily…

Aya: KEN!! FOR ALLAH'S SAKE WHY ARE YOU RUNNING?!

Ken (Besu): We're fine Aya! Calm down! 

Aya: STOP DENYING IT AND JUST TELL US!!

Ken (Keru): Ken doesn't want to, OK girly?!?!

Aya: Well……if you won't spill the beans…I'LL MAKE YOU!!!

I sprinted even more along with the others , which lead to us outrunning Ken and breaking his line of sight…

Daigo: You got an idea?

Aya: Yeah, let's climb that mountain over there and wait for him ! That way, we'll corner him!

And then, we started climbing as fast as we can, and waited for Ken there…

Ken's POV:

I didn't know why my friends preceded me....But it didn't matter for me,  I had to get away as fast as I can.... I couldn't bring myself them about the "thing"…… I didn't want to hurt them after all…I saw a mountain so I started climbing it, it was the only way to get past after all…… but I almost reached the top …I saw them, waiting for me.... oh shoot!
I freaked out a little, which caused me to lose my balance, oh God!  I'm gonna fall!

Aya: KEN!  HOLD ON!

Aya grabbed my hands tightly, while the others pulled her to help her lift me up.... I was completely terrified now, not just because of what just happened,but because they got me…I've got nowhere to run……

Aya: Ken! You ok?!

Ken (Keru): Yeah…

Valt: Come on buddy, what's wrong?

Daigo: We're your friends, you can trust us…

Rantaro: Yeah, we'll help you in any way we can...

Ken (Besu):…… Do your remember…When we said that our family is nomadic……and always moves out a lot because of our business as ventriloquists…?

Valt: Um, yeah, what about it…?

Ken (Keru): ………We're gonna move out…………

Aya: W-What?!

Ken: ………………I'm gonna transfer to a new school……………I'll leave tomorrow …………

Aya: N-No way.... B-But Ken!!! You can't leave us like that!!

Ken: ……………I've got no choice……………I'm sorry…………

My eyes started stinging, and my knees were weak…So I broke down and started crying, I didn't want to leave them,  I really didn't want to……Everyone kept giving me sad glances, especially Aya………her gaze……showed many emotions: Sadness, pain, confusion, pity………It was hard to describe…Suddenly, she ran towards the cliff and jumped...

Valt: AYA!!!

Daigo: Oh God!  What is she doing?!

Rantaro: Whoa! Never expected that!

I didn't say anything …I just felt bad for Aya and hoped that she'll be ok……

Aya's POV:

To be honest, I don't know why I left my friends there……There was only that voice chanting inside my head:

"Run…Run…JUST RUN! DON'T LOOK BACK!!!!"

So I kept sprinting, not caring where I should go…I just wanted to get away from this ……I stopped since my lungs were burning, and started raking deep breaths……I know I was overreacting……but that's who I am………I never display my negative emotions in front of others…especially sadness, since I always thought that crying in public would make me look like a baby…so I always hide somewhere to cry my heart out…Anyhow, I started screaming and wailing in total agony while clenching my fists and sobbing outloud……I didn't want Ken to leave……

No…I refused…

I may sound selfish, but I wanted him to stay...My glasses' frames were getting blurrey from the tears I've shed…So I started panting after the wailing, and cleaned them up before putting them back on... Suddenly I had...an idea…

-" The deadline is tomorrow…I must do it later…"

Anyhow, I finally managed to calm down....Then headed towards the Dojo to wait for the others……
