Steve's POV

In my frozen state of shock I stood clung to Herobrine's side, staring wide eyed into the venomous yellow gaze who could only look at me filled with so much hate.

"You..." I whispered, taking a tentative step backwards and away from him as fear ate away at me, I half expected him to launch at me, yet a massive and painful pang sliced through my head as more memories filtered through my head. Mainly of the attack, how he punched and beat at my head with a couple others whose faces were blurred.

I could hear his haunted yelling that was muffled as I remember the blood pounding in my ears while I tried to protect myself.

"Steve!" I gave a gasp of air as Herobrine looked at me, worried out of his mind. I was light headed as I continue gasping for air, as if I was holding my breath as I tried hiding from him.

"I knew it...bringing you along with me was a bad idea, I'll have Ender return you while Notch and I finish up after he rounds the others up..." He said softly, pulling me into a hug to shelter me.

"I doubt returning him would be wise, Steve could very well question this man for his actions Brine" Notch spoke up.

"And let him fall into another panic attack?! I should kill him where he lays Notch..." Herobrine growled, letting me go to glare at the man who returned it with an equally impressive glare. I watched from over Herobrine's shoulder as the man stood with a struggle.

"Kill me then you bastard, you'd be doing me a favor!" He spat, not flinching as the Enderdragon dropped three others beside him before landing near us, in my state of shock I watched as the dragon took on a human form, wild black hair complemented his stunning purple eyes.

"Master, I believe Notch is right" He spoke softly, his gruff voice sending shivers down my spine.

"Oh not you to!" Herobrine roared, now facing Ender who bowed at the given. I only jumped with a slight fright as Herobrine punched a nearby pillar, a clear indent on the lower side before he whipped around to the four men who stood on the side opposing to us.

"I apologize if I speak out of line, however you cannot shelter him forever. He needs his own closure" Ender said, not flinching like I did when Herobrine punched him across the jaw.

"Brine! He did nothing to deserve that!" I found myself yelling at him, jumping and now hiding behind Notch when he slowly turned to glare at me this time. Yet Ender merely chuckled, rubbing softly at his jaw while he looked at me with mirth in his eyes.

"Master was being lenient, Notch I hope you can hold him steady for me. I will accept any punishment afterwards Master" I cocked my head in confusion, watching as Herobrine grew as confused as I was watching as Ender approached me and Notch shook his head with a sigh before going over to his brother.

"Ender..." Hearing his name he turned around and bowed slightly, before snapping his fingers and everyone besides from Herobrine and Notch were teleported in a room lined with quartz blocks and pillars. It was a massive corridor that I couldn't help but gaze in wonder, only seeming to panic when Ender stood besides me as the four males were in the center of the room.

"Should the four of you get out of line, I will not hold myself back from protecting Steve" Ender warned taking a dagger from the side of his pants.

"What about Herobrine? A-And Notch?" I asked. Jumping at the obvious thud from the side of the room, shaking the glowstone cluster above the center of the room.

"They are separated from us for a reason, now, I'm sure you have questions from them"

"Oh please! Let me beat him to it!" We all looked to the male with yellow eyes as he let out a cackle.

"Oh why?! Why did you do it?!," He mocked with an almost feeble tone of voice. "I want you to think long and hard on what the fuck I told you that night!" He roared, taking a bold step forward. I blinked dumbly at him however.

"What are you talking about?" I asked, missing when Ender taken out crystal of some sort and placed it on the floor beside him.

"Are you fuckin dense?! I told you not to hurt her! She came to me crying! You got a cheap shot in I'll give ya that, but if you even think for one second I wouldn't get back at you for-"

"Made who cry?! What are you even talking about?" I cut in, not paying attention to his insults.

"Who? Who else?!," I noticed the the both of us were face to face now, only a block between us as he towered over me in his rage. "Alex!"

"Alex?" I shook my head, the only memory of her crying was when she didn't come to terms with Herobrine and I dating...

"Steve has developed amnesia due to your actions, be mindful of how close you stand" Ender spoke from behind me, I jumped in fright as a purple light enveloped around the male before me along with the three behind him.

"What...?" I turned to see the light also around Enders thumb healing him of a wound.

"I infused them all with my blood, should they or even I get hurt. My crystals stationed around will heal us. It is a bit painful, however after a couple of eons it feels like a mere pinch to me" Ender smiled warmly.

"She...She came back to me after...after going to find you...in tears...!" He panted as he wobbled to stand up.

"You..attacked me, because I made Alex cry?" I asked aloud, feeling the dull force of anger taking hold of me.

"She saw you kissing your fuckin psychopath of a boyfrie-!" The punch I thrown his way was enough to knock him off his face.

"Are you fucking kidding me?!" I yelled out, not even blinking when he spat blood nor when the purple light enveloped him once again. He gave out a pained cry.

"You and your god damned minions," I spat, sending a hateful glare their way as they all looked at me wide eyed. "beat me unconscious mind you, all because a girl couldn't fathom the fact that I might have my own fucking interests?!" I kicked him in the chest, knocking the wind out of him further. He gave a groan, trying to bring himself up.

"I lost so many memories because she felt as if I couldn't possibly be gay?! That I just had to be with her?!" I roared at him, he had brought himself up to his knees, looking at me wide eyed as well.

"And you...! Instead of understanding that no one should be forced to like someone, you go and arrange an attack on me?!" I asked this time glaring harshly into the eyes I was once afraid of.

"She's family! I'd do anything for-ack!" I punched him once again, watching as he staggered backwards towards his group.

"Including beating a man near death?!" I was going to advance however a warm hand went on my shoulder, calming me down instantly.

"You should be angry Steve, you have every right to...In fact you aren't the only one" I turned to look at Notch, his usual warm gaze was now hardened and cold as he stared ahead at the four men.

"I will no longer interfere with what fate my brother has in store for you men...I will also have a word with Alex" He spoke lowly into the silent room, I turned behind me only to wrapped in Herobrine's embrace. 

"Don't hurt Ender....I needed to know..." I mumbled hugging him back, feeling tears prick my eyes.

"I already stepped on his tail, but I won't do anything further..." He whispered back, rubbing my back as I silently cried.

"A-Alex had nothing to do with it! It was all me! She never asked for me to do anything to him!" I heard the man yell out.

"Ryan...I advise you not to anger me further. As you said before, you would do anything for your family, while they are not married, Steve makes my brother happy therefore I would do anything for the both of them" Notch stated his voice full of hostility.

"We'd do anything for you Steve..." Herobrine repeated to me softly, he smiled yet it didn't reach his eyes before I felt the numbing sensation of Brine teleporting the two of us,  back to my house as I was picked up and laid down on my bed after he removed my shoes.

"I want to speak to Alex too..." I muttered out, embracing Brine once again after he laid down.

"We will...just get some rest first...Today was a long day for you" He kissed my forehead as we laid there, letting silence overcome us.
