Sofia

Ever since I became the Protector of the EverRealm, things have been changed a lot. I experienced a lot of things and seeing Elena being down is kind of reminds me a lot back home, with Amber as my sister. 

Carla was teaching Mateo new magic with Cedric as I asked, "Have any of you seen Elena?"

"I think she's in the Royal Library. That's where I last saw her." Mateo suggested. I nod, thanking the Royal wizard, as I head into the library. 

That is where I saw the Crown Princess, staring at the portrait of the Royal Family. 

"That painting looks beautiful, Elena." I said, as Elena was shocked of seeing me. "Sofia! Whoa, you should give me a warning." 

"Sorry, but you seemed a little off. Is it about Esteban?"

"Yeah, it is. It's just I really am mad of him of the fact that-" She said, but I knew exactly what she was going to say.

"That he betrayed you, and that you think he doesn't felt what you feel? Elena, I had been through a lot, and even before I became a Protector, I had troubles too, so does Cedric. " 

Elena was amazed, "What you mean?"

"Well, sometimes we don't mean what we say. Our emotions, our feelings have different meaning in ways we don't understand something. 

I think you're bottling up your emotions of the betrayal as an excuse for yourself, and not considering what Esteban felt.

I still couldn't believe this is really Sofia. She seems completely different, not like she used to be. Sure that she was a princess like me, but now she is not the Storykeeper anymore. 

Now is the Protector of the Everealm, which is kind of hard to believe. "I am still not convinced, Sofia. Esteban chose his destiny." 

"It doesn't have to be. I mean what I said. Our emotions have different meaning that we don't understand. 

Remember how I discovered that you were trapped inside the Amulet of Avlor? I was taken by surprise that I never thought I could able to help you and your family.

Just think it over, ok?" The Protector leaves as that Zuko came out in a supring scare. 

"My, Sofia really knows what she is talking about." 

"Aw! Zuko, you startled me! Wait were you listening to Sofia's suggestion?"

The spirit laughs, "Of course I did, what else I would do, remember I'm your spiritual fox guide? Honestly I had no idea Sofia would come back to Avlor like this." 

"You and me both. But... I honestly don't know what to do, Zuko. At any rate, I'm actually nervous for our future. " 

" 'Our future?" Elena, you're asking me in past tense. Sofia is really not just thinking about herself or Avalor. 

You got to let your hatred of Esteban go, and you will able to go forward this time. Sofia may be the Protector of the EverRealm, but you are the Crown Princess. Both of your roles play a crucial part of each decision you make." 

The spiritual guide left as that I was thinking to myself, "Do.. I have what it takes to forgive him?"

As I was walking to the Royal garden, Mateo and Cedric was helping Carla improve her magic. "This spell is unique, Sofia might learn this spell soon enough." Cedric said, showing her a spell I never seen before. 

"Wow. " She said, as I was amazed myself, but I wasn't so surprised, considering that he was the royal wizard in the kingdom. 

I decided to approach them, "Hey, you guys, mind if I join you?" 

"My, Sofia! I didn't see you there, did you manage to find Elena?" Mateo asked, being curious about his friend. 

I placed my hands behind my back, "Yeah, she was looking at the royal portrait of the the Royal family. 

I can tell that she missed the king and queen very much and doesn't really know how to convey her feelings about Esteban. 

In some way, it kind of reminds me of my relationship with Princess Amber when I first arrived at the castle." 

"Your sister, right?" Mateo recalled, remembering the royal siblings when they first met.

"We didn't get along as sisters right off the bat, but that took some time, and now she is learning to be the future queen of kingdom while I remain by her side as the Protector of the EverRealm. 

There is no doubt in my mind that those two will be a family and friends again." 

The trio was amazed of how confident I was of knowing how the situation was, but then all of a sudden, I heard a alarming sound of bells. 

"What is going on?" Cedric asked, as I use my Enchantment band to make a lasso to climb into a nearby tower to see . 

That was I see a ship coming into view and seeing Esteban with a magical staff. 

It was a declaration of war.
