3: Do you remember me?

'4:30' pm.

"Shit shit shit!" Yukiko raced down from the stairs as she made haste to go to the basketball gym.

"I can't be 30 minutes late!! Punctuality!!" she half screamed, earning some glances from the students who quickly turned away upon noticing it was her.

How did she become late again..? Simple. Some other third years decided that the rumors were fake and challenged her to a fistfight.

Of course, she won. in a landslide,

The ombre haired girl left the challengers black and blue outside Class 1-A's hallway.

Yukiko opened her shoe locker, shoved her indoor shoes in it, wore her outdoor shoes, and ran towards the gym in sonic speed that would even put a car to shame.

"Okay! That would be a-"

Riko Aida's attention, along with everyone's turned toward the person who had slammed the door open.

"Sorry I'm late. Bunch of dumbasses came to me itching for a fight!" Yukiko came into view, her hair was quite messy. some strands stuck out, her uniform was quite rumpled, and her knuckles were glowing red.

Yep, her look totally screams that she came back from a fight.

"...T-Tsukishiro... Yukiko..?!" the freshmen boys (that are still shirtless) all cowered in fear as they saw the blue and black haired girl walk toward them.

"Yo. Came here to apply for manager." She waved them off and apologized profusely to the coach, who was quite delighted to see Yukiko's effect towards the players.

"Alright, Tsukishiro-chan! You came just in time for the game!" Riko's smile didn't falter as she handed the girl some papers that contain the information about the players.

"As the manager, you should know your players well! so I expect you to memorize these!" Riko patted the girl's head.

"...Senpai, I hate to be pessimistic but I think only a fourth of these guys would survive." Yukiko's eyes wandered throughly.

"...Seriously. They're scared of me and I'm just a freshman. I'm also a girl. What if they face the Generation of Miracles in a match.? Won't they die of pressure?" her question had echoed emptily across the hall.

Riko laughed and slapped the girl's back a few times.
"Atta girl! but still. You need to! Now lets start the game since the last one isn't here!"

"..Coach. Kuroko Tetsuya's that guy right?" Yukiko's eyes were pasted on the information Riko provided.

"Yeah? You know him?"

"He's behind the tall guy" was all she said before the said bluenette moved forward in order to make his presence known to the court.

'Finally.. Tetsuya... fufu.. Do you still remember me?'
Yukiko's fox smile was visible as she watched the poker-faced Kuroko  walk toward their coach.

'Wtf?! Is this even possible..? He didn't even change even one bit! he's still invisible! poker-faced, and plain! Is he still bad at everything else except for passing? Ah!! Yuki, get yourself together! He probably learned atleast something. Come on now!' Yukiko's fox smile was replaced with a frown as a bead of sweat trailed down her face. There's no way they can beat the skittle monsters if they remained the same!

---

A soulless Yukiko Tsukishiro sat down at a table in Maji Burger while eating and drinking her worries away. She could not believe that there is not even one change that she could see on Kuroko.

"At this rate. A certain asshole would be laughing his ass off at my panicked state......." She mumbled while taking a sip of her strawberry milkshake before chomping down her third burger.

"..Tsukishiro-san, Long time no see."

"Yeah long time no see. How's- What the f*ck?!" Yukiko's mouth left her straw in shock to see Kuroko sharing the same table. "The hell, Tetsuya? Want me to get a heart attack before we pummel the hell out of those skittle godzillas?!"

"......No. I don't want to give you a heart attack... people might think that I killed you..."

"......Okay. I'll guess. You were here the whole time." Yukiko sat back, crossing her legs and relaxing her tensed nerves. "How did you know, Tsukishiro-san?" Kuroko tilted his head.

'You're in for a real treat, dear.' she thought as her smile turned into a smirk. "One, You always tell me that when we were in middle school, Second. Based on your relaxed posture, you've been here from quite a time, Third. Your vanilla milkshake is already halved. and Fourth, I did not hear any chairs that were pulled to be occupied." Yukiko held up four fingers while she was filled with pride.

'Heavens bless my observation skills!' She said with a satisfied smirk. "........How observant, Tsukishiro-san.." Kuroko's eyes went wide for a moment before returning to normal, though for a second. Yukiko swore there was a hint of sadness in his orbs.

"Oii Tetsuya. Why the long face?" It was her turn to tilt her head. "I was just surprised, Tsukishiro-san. You've changed a lot." Kuroko's bluntness made the blue and black haired girl chuckle.

"Yeah. I'm surprised that you remembered me. Nyehehe."
