2: Reason For Joining.
A few days had passed, and nobody from the third years dared to give Yukiko the 'Honored Welcome' in fear of being beaten.
Today was also the day where they choose the clubs.
'Yeah~! Watch me Skittle Prodigies. I will kick your asses!' Yukiko mentally cheered as she approached a small table,
She saw a familiar blue haired boy, and a redhead she was unfamiliar with.
Those pale blue locks neatly flowing from his scalp, the Seirin gakuran he wore was quite loose on him, his height is still quite small for his frame, pale ghost-like skin, and a frame as gentle as a girl's.
It was him. Kuroko Tetsuya.
The person Yukiko had promised to help with waking up the 'skittle prodigies' from their cocky dreams.
'Should I..? No.. The third years might be present too.. or watching me. I can't go to him just yet. No, just no.' Yukiko balled her fist and made her way to the basketball club's table.
"Senpai. Can I have a form?" Yukiko deepened her voice, attempting to be quite louder and confident than usual.
'No shit. If I appear too weak or too cocky I might lose the chance to get into this club!' she thought wildly, her heart pounding against her ribcage.
She saw the girl's (possibly the coach or the manager) eyes widen at the sight.
'okay. Is it about my dyed hair? I mean, it looks quite ombre.. black to light blue or something.. Or is it about my piercing..? Or they probably heard about the rumors of me beating up third years..?' possible conclusions swirled in her head as Yukiko mentally slapped herself.
No time to be scared.
"Oh! Are you here to apply for the manager spot?" the brown haired girl gave a friendly smile.
"Ah yes. I'm here to apply for the position of manager." Yukiko gave her charismatic smile that she only gave to adults back in her middle school days.
"Alrighty then! Now can you fill up this form~?" The brown haired girl's smile never faltered.
Yukiko obliged, she wrote her name, her class, and all the what-not. Until she stopped by the last part she had to fill up.
'Reason for joining'
The ombre haired girl smirked deviously when she handed the paper back to Riko Aida, who graciously accepted the paper.
"Jaa nee, Aida-senpai. I'll see you at 4 pm!" Yukiko waved at her brown haired senpai before walking away to find Kuroko.
"Class 1-C was it...? Tetsuya Kuroko.... We'll meet very soon. Not yet. Hehe..." Yukiko noticed the petite boy sitting inside his classroom as she passed by.
"Interesting... Let's see how we'll hold out. Tetsuya~"
***
Back at the basketball club's table, Riko Aida scanned the form of the lone girl who had asked for a basketball club application form.
the brown haired coach's eyes widened as she saw the information about the girl.
'No way!' she thought madly.
"Hey, Riko. What happened?" Hyuuga Junpei's eyes shifted to the brunette beside him. "..Hyuuga-kun, Tsukishiro-chan's from Teiko...." Riko started, her fringes covering her eyes.
"Really?! Then, she must know the Kiseki no Sedai!" Izuki Shun's voice had echoed as he scanned, but he stopped dead at one part.
"She's ..." he trailed off.
"....Heh. We have two golden eggs here and a guy who played basketball in America.." Riko's smirk became evident
"..Woah.. This girl's deep! - Wait, Tsukishiro Yukiko?!" Hyuuga's eyes widened when he saw the name.
"Hyuuga. Remember a few days ago when a freshman had beaten up a few third years...?" Izuki's eyes narrowed.
"Eh? You guys! what's going on?" Riko frowned as Izuki and Hyuuga stared at their coach with shocked eyes.
"You seriously don't know?" Hyuuga facepalmed.
"A few days ago, a freshman named Tsukishiro Yukiko had beaten four third years!"
Riko's eyes once again, widened in shock in another revelation about the freshman girl whose application form she's holding.
"...Ah.. She's really full of surprises..." Hyuuga shook his head and sighed as he stared back at the form that seemed to be glaring back at him.
