Chrom and Lissa greeted them when they arrived at the school. Officers had the place taped off, and people were gathered around, mumbling in worry. 

"What's going on?" Robin asked as they arrived. 

"It's a hostage situation," he replied, "The Grimleal have the place locked down, all the officers who tried to get in were shot. Inigo said he and Laurent are going along with it for now, but they're threatening to kill the students if they don't get what they want." 

"Which is?" Morgan frowned. 

Lissa sighed, "The Boss." 

Lucina inhaled sharply, "The idiots. Boss never comes out for anything." 

"Yeah… they said Tiki and I would do, if she won't come, and honestly, I'm ready to go over there," Chrom admitted.

"Father, no," Lucina clenched her fists, "Don't…" 

"What else do we do?" He asked sadly. 

"Stealth operation," Robin and Morgan said at once. They glanced at each other, and smiled. 

"How do we do that?" Lissa frowned. 

"Who else is here?" Robin asked. Her brother looked around, scanning the crowd. 

"Gaius and Lon'qu… the others are still coming." 

"Gaius is a hacker, right?" 

"The best we have," Chrom nodded. 

"Are you thinking what I'm thinking?" The tactician smiled at his daughter. 

"I think so," Morgan nodded, grinning. 

"You have a plan?" The commander grinned. 

"I think we've got something," Robin said.

Lucina and Chrom nodded at each other, sliding the earpieces on, and flicking the on switch. 

"-lo? Hello? Can you hear me?"

"We can hear you," Chrom confirmed. 

"Good," Robin replied, "One minute, Gaius is finishing up." 

"Done," they heard Gaius speak, "I'm into the cameras. Sup guys." 

Lucina looked at the nearest security camera, and waved. 

"Right," Robin said, "You remember the plan, right?" 

"Of course," Lucina nodded. 

"Awesome. Morgan? How are you doing?" 

"I'm ready to go," Morgan replied. 

"Lon'qu?" 

"...Yeah." 

"Okay. Start moving. We'll warn you of Grimleal in the area. Avoid confrontation as much as possible." 

"Let's do this," Morgan muttered. 

Lucina and her father began walking, staying quiet. 

"Blue, 7 2 around the left corner," Gaius said. 

The pair moved to the side. Lucina ducked behind a trash can, and Chrom under a table. 

A moment later, a 2 Grimleal passed them. They came out and continued walking.

"Black, 10 1 right corner." 

They heard shuffling. A moment later, Morgan sighed in relief. 

"Thanks."

"No problem." 

Both pairs continued moving. Whenever Gaius or Robin spoke, they hid and let the Grimleal pass. 

Finally, they reached the gymnasium. Lucina peeked inside. 

Inigo and Laurent stood protectively over a group of 9th and 10th graders, as well as the majority of the girls. 11th and 12th grade boys stood around the room, staring at the trio of Grimleal. 

A red haired girl was on her knees, bruised. She stood up scowling. 

"Bastards!" 

The closest Grimleal punched her in the face, and she fell back down. 

"Stay down, bitch. Know your place." 

"Why you-!" She stood up again. A pink haired girl darted out from behind Inigo and Laurent, grabbing the others shoulder. 

"Hinoka, stop! You'll get hurt!" She pleaded, tears in her eyes.

"Stay back Sakura," the older one growled, "These bastards don't know when to quit." 

"Hah! There's two of them!" One of the Grimleal laughed. 

Hinoka yelled, and charged at one. They knocked her away like she was a tennis ball. 

"Hinoka!" The younger girl covered her mouth. One of the Grimleal grabbed her. 

"Hey!" A boy with long hair immediately pulled the girl away, "Leave her alone!" 

"Takumi…"

"Well, if it isn't the 3 Stooges," a Grimleal sneered. 

Lucina locked eyes with Inigo. He nudged Laurent, nodding at her. 

Chrom took out his phone. Inigo's buzzed. 

"What was that?" A Grimleal glared at them. 

"Just my phone sir," he replied calmly. Laurent peeked over, and they both nodded together. 

"What's wrong kid? You don't seem that scared of us," the man walked over, leering down at Inigo and Laurent. 

"I must inquire what there is to be afraid of," Laurent hummed, "I'm afraid you may not make it out of here alive if you don't let us go." 

"The only way you're getting out of here is if that damn Shepherds boss shows up," the Grimleal scowled, "The hell are you talking about." 

"Close your eyes and cover your ears everyone," Laurent called. 

The other students did so. A gunshot sounded. 

The Grimleal closest to Inigo fell backwards, a bullet between his eyes. 

"Whoops," Inigo blew steam off of the tip, "My hand slipped." 

"Good job I- Laslow!" Morgan jumped out, cheering. 

"Idiot!" Lon'qu grabbed her, pulling her back. 

"So much for avoiding confrontation," Robin sighed. 

"You don't mind if we take them out, right?" Chrom asked, coming out from around the corner. Lucina followed him. Laurent pulled out his own gun. 

The students stared at them. 

The other two Grimleal raised their guns. Lon'qu and Chrom had them both out cold before they could react. 

"Laslow, you…" the boy holding the pink haired girl trailed off. 

"L-Laurent?..." the pink haired girl gasped. 

"Morgan?!" The redhead exclaimed. 

"Sorry, everyone," Morgan apologized, "Please don't tell anyone…" 

"Don't tell anyone what? That you're Shepherds?" A kid scowled, "I think the police should hear this."

"Dude, they just saved our lives," another told him, "I think we owe them at least a secret." 

"Save the chatter for later," Robin said over the radio, "Grimleal are closing in on you." 

"Damn," Chrom muttered, "Do we have a free route?" 

"Yeah, but you have to hurry. Please try to avoid confrontation this time."

"We will," Lucina promised, "Send us the map." 

"Done," Gaius said. All 6 phones buzzed. 

"Let's get going," Laurent adjusted his glasses, "Everyone, I ask you to not argue with us, as we are trying to help you." 

The students glanced at each other, nodding nervously. 

"Everyone, move out. Morgan, check for injuries while we walk," Chrom ordered. 

"Yes sir," Morgan saluted, beginning to talk to the others. 

"Here," Lucina passed a pair of headsets to Inigo and Laurent, "Robin and Gaius are on the radio." 

"Lissa and Cordelia are now as well," Gaius said. 

"Hey!" Lissa exclaimed. 

"Hello," Cordelia stated. 

"Status report," Chrom ordered. 

"I'm on the roof with medical supplies. There's no Grimleal up here yet," Lissa replied. 

"Sumia and I are on our way. We've almost reached the school." 

"Good," the commander nodded, "We're on our way to the roof. Stay safe." 

"Yeah yeah."

"Will do." 

"Hurry up!" Robin urged. They started moving. 

"I... Laslow and Laurent, take the rear guard," Chrom ordered, "Lon'qu and I will take the frontal. Lucina, you and Morgan have the middle. We'll try to avoid Grimleal, but if you see them, shoot." 

"Yes sir," the group chorused, taking their positions. They continued moving. 

"Hinoka, are you alright?" Morgan stopped by the redhead, who was badly bruised and cut. 

"I'm fine Morgan," she smiled, "A few bruises can't get me down!" 

"You're bleeding in 5… no 7 places," her brother stated. 

"Hinoka, you're bruised all over!" Her sister gasped. 

"Lissa, we've got a yellow injury," Morgan said over the radio. 

"Details?" 

"Bruised all over and bleeding in 7 places." 

"Got it. Anything else?" 

"Anyone else need medical attention?!" She called. 

Nobody answered. 

"I think that's it." 

"Alright." 

A gunshot sounded. A few students screamed, covering their ears. 

"Jesus!" Takumi scowled, covering his ears. 

"Right, so the screams have alerted every Grimleal in the school of your location," Gaius said, "They're closing in on you now." 

"Fucking…" Chrom sighed, "Robin?" 

"Just get to the roof, fastest route. The helicopters should be here any minute now." 

"We're approaching the school now," Cordelia said. 

"Alright, change of plans," Chrom turned to the others, "We're taking the fastest route to the roof. Is there anyone who can't run?" 

Nobody answered. 

"Good, let's go. Shepherds! protect the students. Don't let a single Grimleal near them!" 

The Shepherds answered with a cry, and they began running. 

By the time they made it to the roof, every Grimleal in the school was tailing them. The sound of gunshots and helicopter blades filled the air. 

"Injured, over here!" Lissa shouted, jumping up and down and waving. Morgan directed Hinoka to her, and pulled out her pistol. 

Two helicopters landed. Severa and Cynthia appeared in the door of each one, "COME ON!" 

The students filed on to each one. 

"Wait! What about you guys?!" Sakura exclaimed. 

"We'll be fine!" Laurent shouted. 

"Get out of here already!" Lon'qu exclaimed. 

The helicopters began flying again. 

The Grimleal surrounded the Shepherds, the leader stepping forward. 

"This ends here. Leaders step forward, and the rest will be spared." 

"What are we waiting for again?" Inigo asked. 

"Tiki," Lucina replied. 

"Ooh." 

A loud roar ripped through the air. A large green dragon flew over, settling down with the Shepherds. People screamed. 

"What… what is that?!" 

"This," Chrom smiled, "is Tiki." 

Tiki roared. 

The Grimleal screamed, retreating quickly. The dragon glowed, turning into a girl.

"I think I terrorized the entire city on my way here," she sighed, "Please don't ask me to do that again…" 

"Sorry," the commander smiled at her. 

"SHEPHERDS!" 

"Oh for fuck's sake," Inigo sighed. 

The chief officer at the bottom was shouting through a megaphone at them. 

"RELEASE THE STUDENTS!" 

The helicopters landed behind the citizens, and the doors opened. The students jumped out, running to their parents. 

"Next time, don't make us save them," Severa scowled at the officers, "We're a gang, law enforcement is your job." 

"Stop sassing the officers and sit down!" Cordelia shouted at her. 

She closed the door, Cynthia did the same with the other, and the helicopters took off. 

Sumia's helicopter landed on the school again, and the group climbed on. Then it took off. 

"Inigo, Laurent?" Morgan looked at them. 

"Yeah?" 

"Hm?" 

"Next time, don't let Hinoka get herself beaten by the Grimleal please." 

"Sorry," Inigo sighed. 

"She pushed away everyone who tried to stop her except for Sakura," Laurent stated, "but alright." 

They arrived at the base. When they came down, Robin and Gaius were entering. 

"Holy shit," Robin sighed. 

"You can say that again," Gaius sighed, "Yo, next time don't draw the attention of every Grimleal in the area please. I swear, ya nearly gave us both a heart attack." 

"Sorry," Chrom laughed. 

"The important thing is that everyone is safe," Lucina smiled. 

Robin nodded, "Gods… what time is it?" 

"...12am," Lon'qu replied. 

"Bedtime," Chrom sung. 

"Aww!" Morgan pouted. 

"I dunno, I think I need some sleep after that," Inigo laughed breathlessly. 

"Agreed," Laurent nodded. 

"Mmm… I'm awake," Lucina promised with a yawn, "What are we talking about?..." 

They laughed. 

"Let's head home." 

So everyone did.
