"Hey, look, your old man finally showed up."

The Grimleal kicked Morgan. She fell onto her side, and hissed at him with a glare. Her hands were tied behind her back.

"Oh don't be like that," he retorted, hoisting her up.

The tactician took a deep breath, "Okay, I'm here. What do you want?"

"Mostly information," the Grimleal responded, "And quick."

"What information?"

"Where's your new Shepherd base?"

Robin remained quiet.

The Grimleal pulled out a gun, "Well?"

He put it to the side of the girl's head. She froze, and the tactician grit his teeth.

But Robin didn't say anything.

"You know if I don't get the information I'll shoot, right?" The Grimleal scowled.

"Okay…" the snow haired man exhaled shakily, "Get me some paper and I'll draw a map."

"Papa?..." Morgan's eyes widened.

"Hah! I knew you'd see it our way, give me a minute."

He dropped the gun. The second it hit the ground, there was a loud thump.

Chrom fell out of the tree, "OW!"

They all turned to him.

Bang!

A bullet pierced the Grimleal between the eyes. He fell over, dead.

"Henry, distraction does not mean push me out of the tree!" The commander shouted.

"Are you alright Father?" Lucina jumped down, kneeling besides him with a worried frown.

Robin ran towards Morgan, "Oh thank Gods…"

He untied her, and pulled her into a tight hug.

"Nice shot Tharja!" Henry laughed, hanging upside down. Tharja climbed out of the tree without answering.

"Papa!" Morgan smiled, hugging him back, "I can't believe… I actually thought you were going too-!"

She teared up, and Robin laughed.

"I would never do that Sweetie, are you okay?"

"I'm fine," his daughter replied, "Wrists are a little sore, but that's it."

"He can't have been the only guy here," Tharja scowled.

"He wasn't," Morgan shook her head.

"Then where…"

"They would've heard the gunshot, but it'll take them a short while to get here," she interrupted Lucina.

"Then let's get out of here," Robin stood up, taking her hand and gripping it tightly. Chrom stood up, muttering something rude to Henry, who just laughed.

"Hurry!" Morgan prompted, looking around nervously. They heard footsteps, which encouraged the group to start running back to Robin's car.

They climbed into a car just as the other Grimleal came into sight.

"Step on it!" Tharja exclaimed, scowling.

"Give me a minute!" Robin retorted, fumbling for his keys.

"We don't have a minute!" The ravenette retorted, scowling.

The car roared to life, and he stepped on the gas pedal. They sped off, and a collective sigh of relief filled the vehicle.

"How'd you make that shot Tharja?" Morgan asked.

"I was a sniper," the ravenette replied, shrugging.

"Don't push me out of the tree next time," Chrom sighed.

"No promises!" Henry chirped happily.

"Are you sure you're alright Morgan?" Lucina frowned.

"I'm fine Luci, geez. You act like you're my older sister," the smaller girl sighed.

"You're staying inside for the next few days," Robin told her.

"Aww!"

"I am not sending you to school after that."

"But-!"

"No buts. You're staying home until I'm positive the Grimleal won't pull a stunt like that again."

"Ugh…. Fine."

"Don't worry Morgan!" Henry laughed, "I'll come over to visit!"

"I'm sure the others will once they know you're okay," Lucina added.

"Hate to break up the happy chat, but what are you going to tell the school?" Tharja asked, "Somehow, I doubt 'the Shepherds helped me save her', will cut it."

"I'll probably tell them I found her skipping," Robin sighed.

"Ouch," Morgan muttered.

"And her staying home?" Chrom raised an eyebrow.

"And she injured herself climbing a tree… or something."

"Nobody is going to believe that Papa," his daughter sighed, "I climb trees all the time."

"I'll figure out something tomorrow," the tactician muttered, pulling into their driveway, "Today has been exhausting."

"That's fair," Henry shrugged, "Today has been tiring."

"Oh, I almost forgot!" Lucina straightened up, blinking, "Father, did you know Aunty Emmeryn was our boss at the office?"

Chrom blinked, "Nope. Seriously?"

"Yeah, I can't believe she didn't recognize you," Tharja muttered.

"Somehow, nobody seems to recognize me with my hair up," the bluenette sighed, "It's a little strange."

"You do look different," Chrom muttered.

"You're just saying that because you didn't recognize her the first time she didn't," Morgan snickered.

"Excuse me?" Robin raised an eyebrow, "She doesn't look that different, just more like a guy."

"That's probably why," Lucina sighed as they all climbed out of the car. The group split up, Henry and Tharja walked away, Lucina and Chrom got into their own car and drove home.

Robin took his daughter's hand, and they went inside.

Ding, dong!

"Coming!" Robin shouted, sighing as he stood up and walked to the door.

It had been a day since they got Morgan back. The excuse was that she had fallen over and broken her arm while skipping class. She was staying home to heal and was most definitely (not) being punished for bad behaviour.

The tactician opened the door, and blinked.

"Morgan!"

"Yeah?!" She called back from upstairs.

"Why are there 15 plus teenagers at our door?!"

"Hi Morgan's Dad!" Hinoka waved.

"I have a name," he muttered quietly.

"Sorry," she laughed nervously.

"Huh?" They heard thumping, and a shout, "AH!"

More thumping. Robin winced.

"Are you okay Sweetie?" He asked, walked around the corner. Morgan rubbed her head, sighing.

"Yeah I'm fine. I didn't hit my arm," she replied, standing up, "Who's at the door?"

"At least 15 teenagers that I'm assuming are your classmates," he sighed. She rushed over, and grinned.

"Oh, hi guys!" The ravenette waved happily.

"Yo, Morgan!" Inigo waved.

"The dark one has brought, get well soon gifts!" Owain exclaimed.

"He brought drinks," Severa sighed.

"I brought cookies!" Hinoka said happily, "Camilla and I baked them… somehow."

"Oh don't be like that!" Camilla giggled, "I think they turned out lovely!"

"I don't think you were paying attention when Takumi tried them…"

"Takumi makes that face to everything," Cynthia giggled.

Morgan laughed, "Come on in everyone!"

"I'll be in my room, don't break anything," Robin called, walking upstairs.

"Geez, have a little faith in us," Inigo muttered.

"I wouldn't have faith in you either," Brady muttered.

"Ouch."

"That was your father?" Elise frowned, "He seemed grumpy."

"Papa's just tired," Morgan replied with a laugh, "Living room is open."

"Nice place," Gerome muttered. The large group walked inside.

"Oh, it's lovely!" Camilla cooed.

"I have to admit, I'm surprised you're here Camilla," the ravenette frowned.

"It's a long story-"

"Selena and Brady stopped the school gang from beating me up before she could," Elise laughed. Morgan noticed the bandages over her face, and frowned.

"Are you okay?"

"I'm fine!" She replied happily.

"I was with her… it was scary," Sakura mumbled.

"Yeah, but we're okay now thanks to them!" The blonde smiled.

"Whatever," Severa sighed, plopping down onto the couch.

"Aw, don't be like that Sel!" Cynthia laughed, sitting next to her.

"I… I brought a gift…" Noire mumbled, "Here…"

"I brought one as well," Laslow hummed.

"Seriously? You guys didn't have too-"

"No!" Noire shouted, "Just take it!"

Morgan blinked, putting her hands up, "Okay! Okay!"

"Deep breaths Noire," Kjelle sighed.

"Sorry…"

The smaller girl laughed, taking the gifts with a smile. She opened Noire's and smiled wider.

"I've been wanting this book! Thank you!"

"It… was on sale…" the other ravenette mumbled.

"Thanks Noire!" She hugged her, and she squeaked.

Morgan opened Laurent's, and grinned.

"A chess set?"

"I remember you once said you would play with Robin," he replied, "I thought perhaps we could play a game someday."

"Of course!"

Owain opened his bag, "I brought drinks. A lot of them."

"Cookies?" Camilla took the bag from Hinoka and opened it with a smile.

A disgusting smell emanated from inside the bag, that made everyone gag.

"Uh, I'll pass," Inigo muttered.

"Me too," Gerome sighed.

"I just ate," Morgan said quickly, "Sorry!..."

"I told you," Hinoka muttered.

"Oh, that's too bad," Camilla sighed, "I suppose that means nobody wants these store bought cookies as well?"

She produced a box from out of nowhere, smirking.

Everyone groaned.

"I'll take one!" Cynthia cheered.

"Lovely!" The purple haired girl stuffed one of the homemade cookies into her mouth.

She gagged, "Blegh!" And the cookie flew out of her mouth. Hinoka began laughing.

"Oh my," Camilla frowned, "Are they really that bad?"

"I can't blame you," the redhead snickered, "I'm kind of ashamed."

"Maybe we should make the cookies next time," Sakura suggested softly, laughing just a little. Elise burst into giggles, agreeing.

"Store bought cookies it is, then," Camilla giggled, opening the box. The homemade ones mysteriously ended up in the garbage bin.
