Chapter eight: creating
Over the next year, you were working on something amazing. You did it in Zaun because you couldn't stand your mother for more than a day. Her hormones were going haywire every few fucking minutes because of the baby she was having.
The first two months, you were already busy with your project for Silco. Your mom would burst in on your work, demanding all sorts of stuff. She even asked for baby names! Felicia, on the other hand, was much better with her hormones. The girl is too kind for this world to be even bothered by hormones. So, you eventually rented a garage in Zaun and went to work there.
Silco would often come and just sit, writing in his diary, putting down poems or something about Zaun. Just wanting to be in your presence was enough for him. You actually loved his presence there. Sometimes when you needed a break, you would just cuddle with him on the couch. You even made the place your own. It is a pretty big space, so you had placed a couch that could also turn into a bed for the late-night sleepovers.
Silco really didn't like it when you fell asleep there. He would rather have you in his bed or at least in your own home. So, what he would mostly do is grab you and drag you back to his home, despite your protests.
Felicia and Vander would sometimes visit, wondering what you were up to. You didn't reveal too much, wanting to keep it a secret. Felicia would mostly come with some sweet pastries that she had baked, and you loved when she did. You also noticed her belly getting bigger as the months passed.
There was this one time-it was your fifth month working on the project-and you had been up for a week straight because you couldn't find the problem. You were sitting at your workstation, trying to understand why this darn thing didn't want to work. You didn't even hear the door open and close.
Silco came up behind you and hugged you, snaking his arms around your waist and leaning his head on your shoulder. It actually gave you a bit of a fright. "Jeez, Silco, you scared me!" He gave a low chuckle. "Sorry, darling, I didn't mean to. But I'm here to take you home. You need a good night's rest."
You shook your head. "No, I can't. I have to find out why it doesn't work, hon." Silco had been very worried about you the past week because of your sleepless nights. The bags under your eyes said it all. So today, he was going to drag you to his home and get you some well-deserved rest. You heard Silco sigh, and he lets go of you. "Alright, then we'll have to do it the hard way."
He lifted you from your chair and held you in a bridal style. He turned off the lights and locked the door so no one could enter. Then, he began walking toward his home. You were so tired that you lacked the strength to fight him off and simply fell asleep in his arms right there while walking home.
When you both arrived home, he tucked you under the covers, cuddled up to you, and fell asleep soon after. Wouldn't you know it, you slept a lot that day. When you did wake up, you tried to go downstairs, but to your surprise, you saw Silco standing by the door to prevent you from going back to work. So you spent the whole day with Silco. He did give you permission to work the next day, so that's what you did. You finally figured out what was wrong, and Silco had an "I-told-you-so" moment.
Four months later, Felicia had to give birth to her baby. Your mother had already had hers trhee months prior to Felicia's. She had the perfect nine months, while Felicia fell one month short. So when you and Silco were in your workspace, Vander came bursting through the door. You and Silco looked up in shock. Vander said, "Felicia is having her baby! She's already in the hospital with Connol." You and Silco didn't have to think twice about leaving.
You both immediately got up and closed the shop, running to the hospital as fast as you could. Funnily enough, you were faster than they were. After you arrived at the hospital, Felicia was already in delivering the baby, so you couldn't go into the room on behalf of her husband.
It took a while for Felicia to give birth, so you, Vander, and Silco are in the waiting room. Your head is leaning on Silco's shoulder when Connol comes out of the room, saying you can finally come in. You all walk into the room and see Felicia with her bundle of joy in her arms, holding her close. Vander and Connol stand on the left side of the bed while you and Silco stand on the right side.
You find the baby adorable with her little pink hair. Oh, Felicia, she looks adorable! Felicia smiled softly but tiredly. "Thank you, (Y/N)," Vander asked, "what is the name you chose for the little ankle biter?"
Felicia giggled. "I chose the name you gave me, Violet." Vander became misty-eyed. "Well, I'm honored to have named her." You all laughed lightheartedly. That day was spent with Connol, Felicia, and Violet, all enjoying the newborn baby girl.
The next day, you were further working on your project for Silco. It was all built together; you just needed to do some small parts to make it actually work, which would be a challenge. You even went to Heimerdinger to talk and chat with him over the year and asked for some of his advice on the project. Of course, you did everything yourself; just asking for advice was sometimes necessary.
Silco was walking to his garage when he spotted someone rather peculiar with a hood covering their face. Silco stopped in his tracks as the small person asked people something. All they gave the person was a disgusted glance, ignoring them. The hooded figure turned around, spotted Silco, and walked straight to him, saying, "Silco, my boy, I'm glad to see you here!"
Silco was quite surprised to see Heimerdinger in Zaun. "Hello, Professor. What are you doing down here in Zaun?" he questioned, confusion evident in his voice. "I'm trying to find (Y/N), but it seems I'm not exactly welcome down here. Could you please take me to her?" Silco smiled, shaking his head a little. "Follow me."
You were still busy with your project, very focused on welding some things, when you didn't hear the door open and close again. You were jolted out of your work when you heard an excited yordle say, "Magnificent!" You almost dropped your welding tool from the fright it gave you. You quickly turned around to see who had disturbed you, only to find Silco. You looked puzzled. Silco pointed downwards. You followed his gesture to find Heimerdinger. You were definitely surprised to see him here in Zaun. "Well, hello, Professor. What do I owe the pleasure of meeting you here?"
Silco came to give you a quick peck on the lips and went to sit down at the table to write in his diary, not wanting to disturb your conversation. The professor spoke well. I wanted to see you and, of course, the project you have been talking about. So what is it called?
You smiled. I'm calling it the Monowheel. I still have a lot to do, but I'm getting there. The professor was truly fascinated by your skill. It is absolutely magnificent (Y/N). No wonder you were at the top of your class. And I have been looking into the Zaun thing you have going on. I will try my best with the council, but it will take a lot of time, my friend. You smiled. I'm already glad you can help, Professor. Everyone is.
The professor stayed for a while, talking with you and Silco. With Silco, he would talk about Zaun, and with you, about your project. Eventually, Heimerdinger went back home. You and Silco also went home to get some sleep.
When the third month came around, you were finally done. You only had to take it for a test ride, and you did exactly that. You started it up and went for a ride. At first, it was difficult riding it, but you eventually got the hang of it. You had a lot of fun on it. Everyone in Zaun was very interested in the Monowheel you had made. All looked in awe.
You eventually stopped in front of The Last Drop. Everyone was already standing outside. Everyone stood there in shock at what you had made, and Silco had a knowing look-he had definitely won the bet. You spoke sheepishly, "I guess I lost the bet." You chuckled at the end.
Vander chuckled. "Oh, you definitely did. This is amazing, by the way. I don't know how you did it, but I'm impressed."
Felicia is holding Violet in her arms, smiling. "(Y/N), this is amazing. Maybe you could make it a business, making these?" Connol spoke as well. "You should definitely do it because this is on another level, and Zaun has a new way of transportation."
I'll definitely think about it. It took a while to make this one, you say sheepishly, not really knowing what to do with the praise Felicia spoke of. So, what did Silco win from the bet? Silco chuckled. "I could choose anything I like." Vander shook his head in amusement. Of course he can. "So, brother, what are you choosing?" Silco, not saying anything yet, walked over to you and whispered in your ear so no one would hear: "A dinner with all our friends and, at the end, a night of passion between us."
Your face went a bit red at the end of what he had said. He loved making you flustered. You quickly composed yourself. You whisper back, "Alright, deal." You look over to your friends, who are having a nice dinner out with everyone. "So, where would you all like to go?"
Everyone's face lit up, excited to go out to eat. Everyone wanted to go to Piltover for dinner, so you all went to your homes to get some fancy clothing on. You first went back with Silco to put away the Monowheel, then walked back to your now-shared home. You both also put on some fancy clothing and went to meet back up at the Last Drop.
Felicia left her baby with her father so she didn't have to take her with you. After arriving in Piltover, you found the restaurant. It is the best in town, and you always enjoyed it in your younger years to come here. When you walked in, soft music was playing in the restaurant. You asked the person at the front for a five-seated table. He leads you to a table in the corner with a nice view of the outside. You all went to order some drinks and food.
You're all laughing and having a great time. You're happy to have met such an amazing group of friends and, most of all, an amazing boyfriend. You hope this can last forever. After dinner is done, everyone walks back to their respective homes.
You and Silco were definitely drunk from the alcohol you drank when you did come home. You both went to the bedroom knowing what would happen next. Silco immediately initiated the passion, this one definitely driven by the alcohol and lust, both of you needing each other right now.
After you made passionate love to each other, you both lay there for a moment. You hadn't had much intimacy with Silco, but when you did, it was always amazing-full of passion and love. Only this time, it was driven by lust. "Want to take a shower?" you asked him; he nodded. You both took a nice shower and went to bed, cuddling each other. This year had been quite interesting, to say the least.
