Chapter 6

My maids are bored. Thanks to me of course.

~~~~~~~FLASHBACK~~~~~~~

"Ma'am, would you like some tea?" a maid asked me.

"No," I told her.

"Ma'am would you like to play something?" another maid asked me.

"No," I told her.

"Milady, would you like to go to the tailor for a new wardrobe?" another maid asked me.

"No," I said.

Finally, seeing how I didn't want to do anything, the maids left, leaving me alone in my room.

I sighed and opened up a random book that just happened to be next to me. I stared at the contents, but nothing seemed to be clear. I groaned and closed my book again.

The slowly creaked open and a very small voice asked squeakily,"Young Mistress?"

I moaned and answered,"I already went to the restroom. I think I'm good. I don't have diarrhea you know."

A girl entered, carrying a towel in her hands. "I'm so sorry, Milady, but i-it's time for your s-shower..." My eyes lit up. It was Demy.

I immediately stood up and covered my gloomy expression with a wide smile.

"Hey there, Demy!" I called out to her. "So, what brings you here today?" Demy scampered to me and said again in her high pitched voice,"Y-you need to t-take a shower, M-Milady... the M-Master has sent t-this order..." Oh. Levi. How typical.

I sighed in frustration and asked annoyingly to no one in particular,"How come Levi's such a neat freak? I'm seriously tired of this." Demy didn't reply, but dragged me to take a shower. I let her do so.

We entered the bathroom. Demy curtsied and said in a rush,"When you are done, Milady, call for me and I'll come to dry you. I shall be waiting for you outside. If anything is to happen, please yell." Then she shut the door behind her and was gone.

I stared at the door for a second. Then, deciding that I had no other choice but to clean myself, I took off my clothing and stepped into the warm water. I sighed and sat down. The water splashed around me as I moved my hands around, feeling the coolness of the water. I stared at the ceiling and noticed something. There wasn't a roof.

I could see the white clouds glide across the blue sky. A clump of birds flew over head, calling out to each other. It was rather relaxing until the door opened a crack and Demy said like she was about to faint.

"T-the Master i-is b-back home... a-along with M-Mistress Caitlyn..." she said nervously. I got up from my bath and stepped out.

"Demy, can you get me a towel?" I asked her. She nodded and her little head disappeared. After a minute or so, she returned with a towel the color of red and handed it to me. I clumsily drained my body of every last drop of water and handed Demy back the towel.

Demy rushed out of the room and came back later with a cream white dress. This time the dress doesn't look hideous. Instead, it has a rose pattern going down one side and a little pink bow on the stomach part. The clear white sleeves that flow down from where the arms are supposed to go were accompanied by light yellow and gray flowers. I gaped at the dress.

"Who chose this one for me?" I asked Demy in wonder. She gulped and replied,"M-Master did. H-he thought that it'll l-look good o-on you..." My hand went to my heart and I sighed in relief. "So, my mom didn't add anything, right?" I asked." Demy shook her head. I smiled.

"Uh, do you mind putting it on me?" I asked, embarrassed. Demy's eyes widened and she nodded vigorously.

"Of course Milady!" she exclaimed and came over to me.

5 minutes later, the dress was on me and my hair was finished.

I stared at the reflection wondering if the girl staring back was actually me. Demy smiled from behind me, but her smile wasn't a grand one. Still, I was glad.

The door to my bedroom swung open and a maid rushed in.

"Young Mistress! Master Levi and Mistress Caitlyn wishes to see you right now! They say it is urgent!" the maid told me, her eyes alarmed and worried. I turned look at Demy as if she might hold the answers to this problem, but she looked as baffled as I did.

I turned back to the maid and demanded,"What in the world is going on? He needs to see me. Got it. But why so urgent?" The maid started to sweat, but she said in a rushing tone,"Please Milady! They need to see you immediately. I feel something is wrong!"

I sighed and replied,"Fine, take me there." The maid nodded and I followed her out of the door to Levi's study room. Right before the door closed behind me, I saw Demy staring after me, her eyes telling me that everything would be fine.

My father's study room is inhumanly clean. I shouldn't break it to him that I'm not a neat freak. The result would be bad.

I walked into the room and found my dad pacing back and forth around the room while my mom was trying to calm him down. When I entered, he looked up and saw me. His expression became even grimmer if that was possible.

My mother ran to me and pulled me into a bear hug. I gasped for breath as I choked out,"Wh-what's wrong? D-did something h-happen...?" I looked over my mom's shaking shoulder to my dad who's eyes had gone hard. harder than what I have seen him look before.

"The Titans broke in," he said simply with no emotion in his voice. "Wall Maria has been breached."

I stared at him blankly until my mind finally started to function properly again. I though back to the time when I read about Attack on Titan an how it mentioned some walls called Wall Maria, Wall Rose, and Wall Sinta. These walls protected humanity for many centuries from Titans. And now one of them is cracked open.

My eyes widened as realization hit me hard like a rock. People have died today.

"It's terrible!" my mom wailed as she clung to me. I patted her back I tried to process what my dad has just said. I froze and my hands stopped moving.

"Uh, Dad?" I said quietly. Levi glared at me and said in a monotone,"What?"

I gulped and asked," Which wall do we live in?"
