Hey readers!!!! What's up? Like this book? I hope so. Let me guess. You've never seen anything like it before. I guessed right didn't I? HA ha! Anyhow, here's chapter 5!!!!!
---------------------------------------------
Chapter 5
I sat on the edge o my bed as I tried to process what happened today. I just found out that my dad is an anime character and that there's a world that I've never known before.
I rubbed my temples an sighed. Error 404. Problem cannot be processed.
I stood up and walked around my room inspecting things. Everything was spotless clean. That's a really bad sign. If I mess things up here, I'm dead.
I made my way to a study table. The things on it were stacked neatly. I looked around for anything that might be entertaining. That's when I saw it. A black little device that sat on the corner of the desk.
I gingerly picked it up and held it up to the light. My eyes widened excitedly and I gasped. It was a Wifi device!
I giggled happily as I raced to my closet. I swung open the closet doors and dug out my original clothes. I inserted my hand in to my pant pocket and took out my phone. I grinned. Time to search up my dad.
I went back to my bed and sat down. I rested my back on some pillows an squirmed around until I was comfortable. Then I plugged the Wifi device into my phone and immediately the Wifi signal popped up. In my head I started to do the victory dance.
I opened up Safari on my phone and went to Google. I searched up Levi Ackerman and waited for it to finish loading. Finally, Google finished 'searching for results' and a million websites showed up.
I tapped the first link that I saw entitled 'Attack on Titan-Levi Ackerman'. What's 'Attack on Titan'? I wondered. The page popped up and I started to read though it.
Levi Ackerman is from the anime 'Attack on Titan'. He is one of the Corporal Leaders in the organization 'Survey Quads' that travel beyond the walls of humanity to fight giants known as 'Titans'.
I stopped reading as my breaths came in short gasps. What's 'Survey Corps'? I wondered. I exited out of the page and quickly typed up the words 'Survey Corps'. This time, Google loaded faster. Another million of results showed up. I clicked on the first one titled 'Survey Corps-Attck on Titan'. A page popped up and I scanned through it.
Turned out that my dad worked for this group of people who goes outside of the three walls that humanity created to protect themselves from Titans. They go outside to collect information and other resources necessary for battle, information, and daily utilities. This group was led by some guy called Erwin. Who cares about him? The only thing I cared about was how my dad seemed cooler now.
I grinned and turned off my phone. I jumped off my bed and walked over to my window. Things are looking better now..................... I think.
--------------------------------------------
There was a knock on my door.
"Hn...?" I asked sleepily. I sat up in my bed and rubbed my eyes. Where was I? I looked around myself and suddenly remembered with a jolt. I was in my room. I had gone to my bed, gone under my covers, wiped out my phone again, and researched more about Levi and the Survey Corps. Apparently, my dad leads this group of elite Titan slayers. Maybe I should meet them sometime... considering they don't kill me on first sight. You can't be too sure with slayers. I've met an assassin before and it wasn't pretty. He tried to kill me. Crazy person.
The person knocked on my door again. I groaned and asked,"Who's there? Please come in." The door opened and Levi slipped in. My eyes widened and I quickly stuffed my phone into my pillow case. Way to go, Karen. Now you see where your stupidity is coming from. Your mom. Where's your smartness? Stuck with your dad.
Levi looked around my room, probably inspecting for dirtiness. When he found none, he sighed and came over to sit on the side of my bed. I held my breath, waiting for him to speak. But he didn't.
Silence lapped over us. Finally, I broke the silence by asking,"So, is there something you need?" I asked him. Levi stared at me and shook his head.
"No," he said. "I just wanted to see if my daughter was alright." My heart skipped a beat when he called me his 'daughter'.
"Uh, I'm fine," I told him. He nodded airily. Then silence draped over us once again. Where's my mom when I needed her? She would have broken this awkwardness within a heart beat.
Levi stood up and walked over to the door. Right before he headed out, he looked over his shoulder and said coldly,"Me and your mother need to attend another convention tomorrow. The concil has found your mother's sudden appearance again after 15 years... suspicious. You are to not go out tomorrow. I will allow you to go out to the gardens though, but no more. I hope that you'll understand this." Then he strode out, leaving me alone again, shocked by his words. He has seemed fatherly just a second ago. Now he seemed more like a military oficer... wait, he is one. Never mind.
