Hey readers!!! So, yeah. Many of you think that this book is unique... I'm not really sure why though. Many Wattpad authors out there write about Levi's daughter and son, Levi's older/younger sister, and more. I mean, come on! Mine is only original when the main character turned out to be an Animato, half human and half anime. I know that that's cool and all, but you guys should wait until I reach chapter 25. That's when the true action and romance in this book begins. DUN DUN DUN!!! DRUM ROLL PLEASE!

Chapter 17

I'm stuck sitting in a jail again and that's all thanks to Hanji and her big mouth.

Apparently, Hanji went out to town and leaked the information that I was in the house to some Military Officers who just happen to be there. I'll seriously kill that woman. She already got her death wish.

"Subject LEX!" a soldier marched up to my cell and said with formality. "You are up for your hearing!" I grumbled and stood up, my chains clanging together. Another soldier walked up and inserted a key into the keyhole. The lock clicked and the door opened.

I had an urge to knock all of the soldiers here senseless ad then run like hell away from this place, but something in the back of my head told me to stop.

I gritted my teeth as the soldier that called for me pulled on my arms and dragged me to the conference room.

"Let go!" I said coldly and struggled free of his grasp. The man glared at me for a second before sparing out,"Watch who you're talking to, Subject LEX."

I stared him down.

"No," I said. "You're the one who's supposed to watch out who you're talking to. Not me."

The soldier's eyes burst into flames of anger. He gripped the collar of my shirt and slammed me into the wall. Pain flared up my back as tiny black dots danced before my eyes.

The soldier got close to my face and whispered dangerously,"I am a high ranking officer in the Military Police. My name is Seamen Archer. You are to address me as Sergeant Archer."

My head suddenly felt light and I didn't feel like myself anymore. In my sub consciousness, I felt myself nod and groan in pain.

Seamen loosened his hold on me and ushered me on, explaining how if he's late, he'll get punished.

Pfft. Like I'll care about what happens to an idiot like him.

We reached two huge meta closed doors and paused.

"Wait here," Seamen instructed. "I'll be back. I just need to tell him that you're here. Don't try anything stupid while I'm gone."

I rolled my eyes in disgust.

"Hurry up then," I said airily. He glared at me one last time before entering through the doors. Once I was sure he was gone, I began to look around me, desperate for a way to escape.

This is all wrong, I thought, furiously. I'm not even supposed to be in this world. I belong in the real world where at least I'm counted as a human, not a monster.

I looked up and saw that one of the windows near the ceiling was open. Yeah, that was all great, but I had nothing to climb on and get there. I sighed irritated. My height is all my dad's fault.

The door behind me opened, causing me to jump.

"Looking for a way to get out, huh?" Seamen's ugly face appeared and he sneered. "Too bad. Now, let's get going. I don't have all damn day."

I stared at him coldly before pushing past him an into the room.

Immediately, 2 soldiers appeared on each of my side and dragged me(why am I always getting dragged? Ugh!) to the center where they forced me into a chair. 4 restrains appeared, two on both of my wrists and two or my legs. I was strapped to the chair.not that I cared. I was already used to this. Back in the real world, kids older than me always duck tape me to the wall. I'm still not sure how taping a 5 year old is funny.

"Everyone," a voice said at the front of the room. "Let the Hearing begin."

All talking within the room creased to nothing.

The voice turned out to be an incredibly old man. I stared at him unto he began speaking again.

"Karen Ackerman has been found as a threat to humanity's existence. She is the daughter of Caitlyn Ackerman, a high keeled Normato, and Levi Ackerman, a Corporal in the Scouting Region. As a result, they had a child who is an Animato, half real and half anime," he said while eyeing everyone in the room as if he dared them to prove him wrong. No one talked. Or at least no one dared to.

The judge smiled and began again,"We will now hear from to two sides: Military Police and Survey Corps, about what to do with her. Military Police, you may begin."

A man with short brown hair cleared his throat and stood up, his hands behind his back.

"I, Malvin Clarkson, present the following suggestions about what to do with Karen Ackerman," he said. I gulped.

"We, the Military Police will use her for future references to see the best and most efficient way to slay more Titans. That is all," he finished. The judge nodded. He turned to the other side of the room and called out,"And what do you have to say, Survey Corps?"

Erwin stood up and proposed his purpose,"An Animato is a rare and strong person to help humanity push the Titans to extinction. We believe that using her magic will help us when-" he was cut off when a Military Police officer suddenly shouted across the room in anger,"You bastards! You people already got Eren! We should get the girl! It's only fair!"

"And what will you do with her?" a cold voice asked. My eyes widened. I'll recognize this snob-like voice from anywhere. "What, dissect her? Not like I care."

All eyes turned to face the man who said that... my dad.

Levi sat next to Erwin, his arms crossed and looking bored. I shouldn't be surprised. He must of been dropped on the floor one too many times when he was little.

The judge stared at my dad as if he was on fire.

"Wha...?" the officer who threatened me sputtered. "What do you mean by that?!"

Levi glared at him before saying airily,"You know what I mean. All you dirty pigs do is cower doing an attack ad then act like the hero. Big deal. To bad you're losing God's game."

The officer stared at Levi in shock.

"God's... game...?" he asked in disbelief.

Levi rolled his eyes in disgust and muttered 'airheads' before explaining plainly,"Yes, you idiot. God's game. There is no real name for it, but I call it Survival. If you're alive today and you fought with bravery, you're winning so far. If you're dead or hiding, you already lost. Simple." He glanced around the room and said quietly in a voice meant to trick people to their deaths,"I'm a winner of the game, but you lost a long time ago."

The officer's eyes suddenly burst into anger.

"HOW DARE YOU-!" he began, but a girl pulled him down and covered his mouth. She giggled nervously before saying,"Sorry about that! My friend here is a little mental in the mind. Do forgive him."

"And you, Levi," Erwin said while staring at the grumpy dwarf... uh, my amazing dad(yeah! that's what I meant to say!). "Let me do the work."

Levi glared menacingly at Erwin before slouching down in his seat. Without anyone else to bully, he decided that I would be the next victim. He gave me a death stare as if this whole conference was wasting his time and I caused it. Yeah right, Dad. Think again. You got a crazy, mental Titan lover sitting right behind you.

The judge sighed in annoyance before saying with finality,"I have finally decided who Karen Ackerman will go to where she will benefit humanity Te most." He slammed his fist onto the stand. "She shall be under the guidance and watch of the Survey Corps!"
