It was Sunday, and Kuni and the gang was throwing a party for Takao. He was turning 28 today.

After we went to the park yesterday, we went to the shopping center to get something for Takao. Harue and I bought him some cologne and a really expensive pen. Yamato went with two new ties.

I was waiting for Yamato and Harue to finish getting ready while I watched some TV. I had gotten up a bit earlier, maybe it's because I also got a new dress yesterday.

It was a creamy beige color with a black collar and buttons. I paired it up with some back heals. My long, wavy, light brown hair was loose as usual.

I flipped through channels, wait, didn't Yuta say that he was gonna be in some show called 'terrifying wife' or something?

I stopped on the drama channel and the opening theme was playing with the title sequence. It was actually called 'Scary Wife'.

It showed Yuta, and a not so scary looking girl. She was actually very pretty and calm looking.

"Hmm." It started off on a scene where Yuta had gotten home late. He walked in and cheerfully called out 'I'm home!".

His wife was sitting down eating on their table, he walked up to her. 'Wow! That looks really good! Um....where's mine?'

'There is none for you.' She kept eating.

'Ehh? Why not...'

'Do you pay any bills around her-'

"Oh hey you're watching 'Scary Wife'?" Yamato walks into the living room with Harue.

"Woah she is a little scary! She's just yelling at Yuta!" Harue watches with his mouth hanging open.

"It's just a TV show..." I shudder a bit because she was kind of scary.

"Oh I've met her, she really nice actually." Yamato reassures. "I think Yuta will bring her along to the party."

"Oh. Well hopefully we get along." I hope.

The door chime rings as we walk in. Ren was there, Saeki, Kunihiko, and Takao where there.

"Happy birthday Takao!" Harue and I walk in saying.

Takao was sitting at the bar with the guys drinking some shochu on the rocks. He turned around at the sound of our voice. "Hey, thanks."

Harue runs up to him to give him a hug. I would to, but I know it wasn't very common in Japan to do so, so I just bowed a bit.

"Hey Takao! You're getting old!" Yamato slaps Takao's back.

They go and talk on the bar while Harue and I take a seat near the door.

"How old is uncle Takao?" Harue asks. "Is he turning 20?"

"No he's turning 28." I laugh at Harue's little mistake.

"Wow! He's like a grown up."

"Yeah he is, actually..." I start explaining to Harue the age of which people are considered adults. Mid conversation though, Yuta walked in with the 'scary wife' actress.

As I thought she was very cute and she somewhat reminded me of Fumiko. Her eyes where ocean blue. She wore a black dress with flats for the occasion.

Yuta immediately went up to Takao with his actress friend but right after, they came to me, together, with Yamato.

"Hi Haruna!" Yuta beams. The girl next to him bows.

"Hello." I bow a bit. I grab the bag that contained Yuta's glove and hand it to him. "I took the liberty to polish it for you."

"Wow! Thanks Haruna! You didn't have to!" Yuta smiles like a kid.

"Thanks for letting me borrow it." I smile back.

"Oh yeah and Haruna. This is-"

"I'm Akita Hyoto!" She introduced herself excitedly. "I've been dying to meet you!"

"Ah- nice to meet you." I bow again. "I'm-"

"Haruna Natsume. Yeah I hear a lot about you from Yamato!" She finishes for me.

Wait what? Yamato talks about me?

"Nice to meet you!" I smile, quickly erasing my thoughts.

"Yeah! Like wise!"

She sits with us and we talk about her, because, she kind of knew everything about me already.

Does Yamato really ...?

Akita tells me about herself since I wanted to get to know her better. I did feel a little lonely now that Fumiko was gone. This was my chance to talk to someone new.

Basically, Akita starts telling me about the first time she came to LI and how Saeki hit on her.

"Oh! He hit on me too!" I tell her while giggling at Saeki's actions. He was really quite the flirt.

"Yeah... He really looks like my late brother..."

I felt bad for a second, and I didn't really know what to say.

But for a moment, I thought of Hanae. I look over at Harue and a brief moment of silence follows.

"I'm sorry for your loss." I say in almost a whisper.

"It's okay." She looks a little sad but then brightens up again. "We're both in the same boat right?"

So she knows... I thought to myself.

"I suppose." I give a small smile.

"Let's stick together okay?" Akita pats my shoulder. I nod.

The chime at the door and the panting of someone followed. I looked and....

"Haruka sensei!" Harue runs over to Utsunomiya. I stand and bow.

He bows back and heads over to Takao first.

"Hey... Is that the flower arranger Haruka Utsunomiya in the flesh?" Akita asks, whispering. "And you know him personally?"

"I wouldn't say personally.... He's Harue's ikebana teacher." I explain to her.

"Oh." She sits back in her chair, watching Utsunomiya walk up to us.

"Haruna."

My name sounded so foreign, coming from him. I wasn't used to it.

"Mr.Utsunomiya. How do you do?" I smile at him politely.

"Haruna. I thought I had asked you to call me by my first name?" His voice was gentle just as his smile was.

"Ah, Haruka, sorry."

"So you're Haruka Utsunomiya." Akita inspects him up and down.

"Are you a friend of Haruna's? I believe I have seen you before on TV..." He says trying to remember.

"Yeah I am actually on a show called 'Scary Wife'."

"Oh that one."

"Ah! Haruna!" Kunihiko calls out for me. "Can you please do me a huge favor?" He puts his hands together.

I walk over to the bar. "Sure. What can I do for you?"

He hands me a list of groceries. "Can you please make a quick run for these?" It was a pretty long list. Was he not prepared for the party before?

Then he quickly whispers. "Actually, the groceries are a cover up. I need you to please pick up Takao's birthday cake."

I nod and he gives me the receipt. "You should take Yamato with you." He suggests.

"You're right." I look around for him but he's nowhere to be found.

"If you're looking for Yamato he's in the restroom." Ren mumbles, half asleep.

"Oh..." Kunihiko shrugs. "Well..."

"Haruna, I'll join you." Haruka offers from beside Kunihiko, listening to our conversation.

"Oh sure." I shrug and we make our way.

We walk to the bakery that Kunihiko gave us the address too. Harue wanted to stay and talk to Akita. So Haruka and I ended up going alone.

A/N: So Haruna and Haruka are alone together? What's gonna happen???!!
