Okay I lied

Clay felt somewhat relieved. So at least she's not dating Turtle... Peril's next question shocked him. "Why'd you ask?" Clay replied shakily,"um, just wanted.... To know...." Peril gave him a look. A low rumble sounded. They looked at each other but then they heard, "Zomach shut up!" Both Clay and Peril ran over to the RainWing. "When last did you eat?" Clay asked. The rumble sounded again. "Vell," the RainWing said," I've been zost for five days now zo..." Clay was surprised. "Five, Five? You've been lost for five? What was the last thing you ate?" The RainWing looked up. "It waz a zeer." Clay's stomach gave a low rumbling growl and he blushed. He went over to Peril. "Let's go into the cave..." Peril nodded leaving the RainWing scavenging. When they got to the cave Clay sat down, followed by growl. "I don't how we are going to make up food loss." Peril nodded.

A few days later, Clay and Peril and the RainWing's stomach had finally stopped growling. Clay smiled Peril, she looked a lot stronger. Clay found it calming. He knew he had a crush on Peril, he'd known for a few days now. Here he lay watching her sleep, just watching the rhythmic rise and fall of her chest and feeling happy. Yesterday the RainWing told them her name, she was called Blume. It sounded foreign. Clay just watched Peril sleep and he felt content. He stood up and walked over to the cave entrance. The pond was fresh with all colours of fish swimming about. Peril will probably want breakfast when she wakes. He put his massive clawed paw in the water and scooped out two fish, he ate one and then walked to the cave and put the fish in front of Peril and then left.
