Only a few weeks after Serene and Tricky met, Serene disappeared for three days. No one had seen where she had gone or knew if someone had taken her away. Council and Solstris were both worried sick about their daughter. Andrew and Tricky were both furious. Serene was going to be found one way or another, but the question was would she still be the same sweet key they all loved?

Near the edge of the tallest volcano in the Forgotten Dimension stood Serene. The volcano was never known to very active. But there had been legends of a demon who lived in the fiery depths of this volcano. Serene had been hearing voices in her head for a few days and one of the voices led her to the volcano. 

"Climb," a dark feminine voice spoke within her mind.

Serene did as the voice told her and she soon began the long journey up to the volcano. After about four hours of hiking, the little key finally reached the top. She looked around as she began to sweat from the heat.

"What do I do now?!" she yelled as she looked around for any sign of life.

"Now, we shall become one." the voice replied. Serene turned her attention to the edge of the volcano where a girl her age stood. She had fiery red hair and glowing gold eyes. She wore a blood red outfit, and black boots. The girl grinned at Serene as she walked closer to her.

"W-Who are you?" the key stuttered as she backed away from the girl.

"My name is Flame, the demon of fire." She grinned wickedly at the key before grabbing ahold of her arm. Serene squeaked and began squirming against the demons grip. The fire demons hand began to burn into the keys arm in order for her to enter the keys body.

"Why can't I get inside you?!" the demon yelled before noticing the key's imprint on her neck. "Oh right, you are a key." she smirked.

Serene's imprint immediately began to glow white as she shook in fear of the demon. Flame then moved her burning hand to the keys imprint. The second her hand and the key's imprint made contact the demon entered the key's mind. The two would soon become one. 

"Oh you have the power of portals!" Flame giggled from inside Serene's mind. 

"G-Get out of my head!" the key yelled.

"I can't even if i wanted to! We are now connected through your imprint. We are one Serene, so you better get used to living with a demon."

The key sighed sadly knowing there was nothing more she could do. She needed to keep what happened on top of this volcano a secret. No one could know.

Not Tricky.

Not Andrew.

And not her parents.

She would have to fight to keep Flame under control and that was exactly what she was going to do. Serene soon began her long journey home with her unwanted friend inside her mind. This was going to be an interesting experience for the two of them.
