Rocthag Part 1

"No, but I have a feeling and my feelings are almost always right," I said, smiling. "Shadow, we will see each other again, I know it. But keep this to yourself alright? I don't want Dominick getting too excited, I don't think it will be in his life time."
Shadow had a ghost of a smile on his face. "Alright," he said. "Just stay safe, Fire Lord, we don't want you dying before that time comes."
"It's Percy," I said. I thought it was time to tell him my real name. "My real name is Percy Jackson. Fire Lord is a code name."
All of a sudden a honk was heard and I looked up to see Toll's silver bus flying down from the sky.
"Good bye everyone!" I shouted after giving Shadow one of those 'bro-hugs' that I taught him from Earth. "Stay safe and try to keep the kidnapping to a minimum!"
"Fare thee well, Fire Lord," the Golden Ninjas said in unison right before the silver bus landed.
On Olympus: (An: the time difference between where Percy is and Earth is huge. I would tell you but I do not feel like figuring it all out. You can if you want :)
Hestia smiled at Apollo and Hermes, almost giddily. It was time, they were finally getting revenge on behalf of Percy. Sadmep was there as well, having been informed of the punishment the Olympians wished to impart on those who did him wrong. She was one hundred percent willing...after a bit of convincing.
Hestia looked around at the rest of the gods present. Poseidon could not stop grinning and impatiently looking at the position of the sun. Zeus, Hera, Artemis, Ares and Dionysus were all trying to seem indifferent but you could see their smiles when they thought no one was looking. Hades looked like a proud uncle and Aphrodite was fangirling. Demeter and Hephaestus were working out the technicalities of the punishment with Sadmep and Athena was fetching Annabeth and Calem.
Everyone had a hard time keeping in their excitement. They could feel each other's auras pulsing with the contained emotions.
Finally, Athena flashed in with Annabeth and Calem, both demigods looking confused but smug. Hestia wondered what Athena told them to get them here without so much fuss.
When Athena sat down and the two demigods stood in the middle of the throne room, Zeus stood up. "Welcome, demigods," he said, "We have news concerning the war in the near future."
Immediately, Annabeth grabbed onto Calem's arm, her face scrunching up in worry. "Who is it against?"' Calem asked, putting a comforting arm around his girlfriend.
Hestia mentally scrunched her face in disgust. They did not care one bit whether they or their fellow demigods were safe.
Since the Ancient Laws prevented the gods from interfering in Percy's conflict with the campers in front of them, they had to wait. It was a stroke of luck that they got this bit of information. The young camper that figured it out was nearly jumping with the thought of avenging Percy when he brought the news. He was also horrified that Annabeth would do that sort of thing but no one was surprised about Calem.
"We have yet to learn that quite yet," Athena admitted grumpily.
"Then what did you call us here for?" Calem demanded, growing red in the face.
"Watch your tone, boy," Hades snapped before Zeus could say anything, "Your power is insignificant compared to the power held by the Council."
Calem clenched his jaw but bowed his head in a submissive manor. Hestia could see the rebellious flash in his eyes.
"As I was saying," Zeus continued after he cleared his throat, "We have gotten word of traitors in our midst." He paused dramatically, eyeing the demigods in front of him.
Calem's head snapped up, a look of genuine surprise on his face. His mouth dropped open and his eyes darted to look at the others, looking for a clue of some sort. When he didn't find any, he glanced at Annabeth before looking at the king of the gods again.
Annabeth was better at concealing her features. She had an emotionless expression on as she looked carefully at the other gods, looking for a clue as to who the traitors would be. Hestia did catch her squeezing Calem's hand though, as if to say, "Don't say anything."
"Who is it, your highness?" She inquired.
Zeus did not answer at first. He narrowed his gaze onto her and very carefully stared her down. "Annabeth Chase and Calem Peterson, you are here by charged with high treason against Olympus and with the enemy. How do you plead?" He declared.
Annabeth and Calem instantly started shouting protests.
"Where is your proof?" Calem shouted, ignoring Annabeth's yank on his arm to shut up.
"Proof? You want proof?" Zeus asked, almost maliciously. "Iris?"
The goddess of rainbows stepped forward. "Yes, lord Zeus?" She said sweetly.
"Show these demigod scum their proof," he said, gesturing to the two terrified demigods cowering by the hearth.
Hestia shook her head in disgust as both Annabeth and Calem shouted in protest.
"Wait!" Annabeth shouted along with Calem. "Mother, you can't believe this can you? I would never sell you all out."
"Annabeth," Athena said sadly, "I am severely disappointed in you. Not only because you are conspiring against us with the enemy but you were too proud to think no one would doubt you after you betrayed Percy like you did. We have had people watching you ever since then. We have the memories of a young camper who saw you speaking with our enemy in the upcoming war. Everything in that speaks against you."
Annabeth did not say anything and neither did Calem. They could not say anything with out digging them selves a bigger hole. They knew they were trapped and they knew there was nothing they could do to get out. The gods knew they were not remorseful for doing what they did, especially against Percy.
"Annabeth Chase and Calem Peterson you are here by sentenced to exile," Zeus began.
Hestia smiled to herself when she saw the demigod's hopeful expression. Exile is no big deal when you are working against those you are exiled from, they could just go to the person they are working for. However, they had no idea what was in store for them. It is why Sadmep was there.
"Keeper Sadmep," Zeus continued, turning to the young looking girl to his right. "If you please."
Keeper Sadmep stepped forward, drawing her sword. "Annabeth and Calem you will be coming with me to the gate," she said, her voice much like it was when she came to get Percy. It echoed around the throne room, surrounding and penetrating everything around them. "Do not think you can escape me, demigods, I will find you where ever you go."
Sadmep was taking the traitors to the gate to transport them to the planet Percy was at so that he could deal out further punishment. Hestia had prepared a note for them to take with them so that Percy wasn't so confused as to why they were there.
Hestia stepped forward. "For what you did to my son," she began, "I brand you both traitors to Olympus, may Percy have mercy on your souls." When she mentioned Percy's name, Annabeth paled and Calem sneered but you can see that he was terrified of seeing the son of Poseidon again.
The omega symbol burned itself onto both of their foreheads, marking them as traitors to Olympus and outcasts. Not an easy mark to hide.
"Come traitors, your executioner awaits," Sadmep said with a wry smile, accepting the note from Hestia and taking out an iron bracelet from a pocket. The bracelet would not be able to come off and would contain the note about the two demigods until Percy could see it. Sadmep snapped the bracelet onto Calem's wrist then burned Hestia's symbol on it so it could be easily seen.
With out another word, Sadmep disappeared off of the face of the Earth, bringing the traitors with her.

The next planet I landed on was huge. I am not kidding, Rocthag must have been at least 20 times the size of the sun at home. Those of you who know the scale of sizes of Earth's solar system must know how I feel right now. This rock planet went beyond my feeling dwarves when standing next to a giant on Earth.
I felt like an ant in the middle of a giant's world.
"Rocthag," I muttered as I watched the bus leave, "good luck to me. How am I going to survive this world?"
Thump!
The ground shook violently, causing me to lost my balance. I fell on my butt, bruising it for sure.
Thump!
"Bock!" a very loud, booming voice shouted, causing my eardrums to ring. "Get your rock behind inside, Mother Teresa wants to see you."
"Coming!" This voice was different. It was high but still very, very loud.
All of a sudden, an extremely loud and earth shattering thump caused the large boulder I was sitting on to make me leap high into the air. I dropped back down hard, knocking the wind out of my lungs but now I was in the air again. I must have somehow landed on the giant's rocky foot. Now I was taking a ride to wherever this Bock was going.
The trip felt like it took forever. Every time the giant took a step, I had to cling to the rocky foot like my life depended on it. Which it did. Even when the giant wasn't moving, the ground shook so much I feared I was going out fall. By the time it stopped, I was in the air again, saying goodbye to the stable ground at least 35 feet below me.
Eventually, I grew used to the lurching go's and stops and I decided to strap myself down by tying my self to the rope conveniently placed around the giant's ankle. It was woven into a giant braid and had smaller black and red glass beads woven into it. Now I say smaller because they were smaller than the braid itself. When really they were twice the size of my head.
The scenery changed when I once again was brought into a cave unwillingly. It grew darker than it was outside from the night sky. Torches were lit on the walls, barely giving enough light to make the whole cavern visible. native looking carpets covered the rocky floor, ginormous dream catchers hung from the ceiling all over the room. There was not any furniture, only a small wooden stool where a young rock giant was sitting. He wore a green sash and skirt like thing around his waist like the old native Americans did way back when.
On the far end was an older rock giant dressed in hippie clothes. She had stringy white hair and wore almost a million bead necklaces of all colors of the rainbow. She sat cross-legged and wore a bracelet like the one I tied myself to except it had green and white beads.
The young rock giant had sat down right in front of my vision so I untied myself and climbed the giant I was ridding the best I could since he was still moving, staying in the shadows and moving as silently as he could for being a giant. I'm surprised that he did not notice me climbing his bare skin.
Suddenly, he couched and nearly crushed my fingers since I was climbing up his leg and I had reached his knee. I climbed up his arm and scrambled onto his shoulder.
Looking around, I saw we were still very close to the entry way and the old lady had white eyes.
The rock giant I was on reached to his side and grasped something very slowly and started creeping silently in the direction of the two rock giants in the middle of the room.
"Bock, he has arrived," the old lady said. The giant I was on, froze. "The one destined to be your protector has arrived."
"He has?" Bock inquired, his high pitches voice going higher, "Really?"
"Indeed he is," the old lady, whom I assumed was Mother Teresa said in her scratchy voice, "but he will not be what you expect."
"Where is he?" Bock asked excitedly.
"He is here," she trailed off into a whisper thought to me it still sounded like a shout.
"You said that, Mother Teresa," Bock sounded confused.
Before either of them could say anymore, the rock giant I was riding suddenly started forward again, dagger risen to shoulder height.
I had a feeling that I was the one this Mother Teresa was talking about. Typical Percy.
That and I did not think the giant I was riding was friendly.
That being said, I immediately brought out Riptide and stabbed it into the giant's neck. Dragging it across his neck, I successfully caused the giant to drop his dagger.
The silver dagger dropped with a loud clang, drawing the attention of Bock and Mother Teresa. I had to drop from the giant's shoulders to his knees since his hands went instantly to his neck.
I watched as he started screaming, smirking to myself. That was hardly a scratch. "Wimp!" I called up to him, "That was hardly a paper cut for you!"
"Son of a featherless chicken, that burns!" The giant shoot up, making me tumble down to meet the ground.
"I'll have you know both my mother and my father would turn you to ash for that!" I was still shouting. "They most definitely are not chickens. Not to mention featherless ones!"
"Who are you?" the assassin giant asked still holding a hand to his neck. Him and the others were too shocked apparently to do anything. "What are you?"
"I am Fire Lord," I told him, "a demigod."
"A what?" He asked.
It suddenly occurred to me that the people of this planet would not know about the gods on Earth. The Golden Ninjas only did because the gods had visited that planet before going to Earth.
Apparently they were aliens from a different planet.
"Um..." I started before stabbing my sword(which was like a thicker needle to him) into his kneecap. It went through, burning the rocky skin like a hot poker going though butter. When in doubt, stab the first thing you see.
Another scream tore through the cave, rattling my brain and gallivanting Bock into action. He jumped froward, grabbed the giant by the arm and jerked him up.
"What are you doing here, Bloodstoneian?" Bock spat.
"What do you think, Malachite?" The assassin spat back before he jerked his arm out of Bock's grasp and lunging for the nearly forgotten dagger at their feet.
I was almost too slow. The giant got a hold of the dagger and was about to bring it down on Bock, sinking it into his abdomen.
Fortunately, I was feeling a strong gut-feeling. Kind of like when I use my powers over water. Following my instincts, I ran to Bock, drawing Riptide out, holding it ready even though I was way too small to make a difference. I stopped just before the giant attacking Bock and suddenly, I was not looking at feet. Instead, I saw the face of the giant trying to kill Bock for the first time clearly.
He had one of the largest noses I have ever seen. No joke, this guy's nose was huge. His eyes were a cold blood red and he had a bloodstone in the middle of his forehead, surrounded by the dark grey stone that was his skin. It glinted almost evilly in the dim light. His mouth was twisted up in a snarl, revealing extremely crooked teeth.
A loud clang echoed through the cavern, making my eardrums ring again. Before we could continue fighting however, I held up my hand.
"Hold up," I said, pointing up and down at the guy in front of me with whom I just crossed blades with, "Were you not bigger?"
The rock giant furrowed his brow and looked at me carefully.
I suddenly saw my chance and quickly maneuvered him into a headlock.
"You're not going anywhere you want to go anytime soon, buck-o," I said, grappling expertly for a secure hold.
Bock helped me out and tied the guy up, making sure he could not go anywhere.
Once the giant, that I still don't know the name of, was taken care of, Bock and Mother Teresa turned to me.
"Thank you for saving my life," Bock began, "What are you, Fire Lord?"
Good, he caught the name. I did not want to repeat myself more than necessary.
"I am half human from Earth and half god from my home planet which is Earth," I told him, not too worried about him finding out who I am. There were more than millions of people there and almost as many demigods. The only chances they would have was to ask the gods and I knew they were not going to say anything unless I said so.
"What gods are they?" Bock asked me," and how did you get to my size when just a second ago you were the size of an ant?"
"Greek gods," I answered, deciding not to go into the complication of them being from a different planet. "I grew in size because that is what power your planet gave me. In order, I assume, to fit in and fulfill my destiny on this planet better."
I turned to the old lady, who had a large piece of tigers eye hanging around her neck. How I did not see that before, I'll never know. "Which reminds me," I said, "what is my purpose here, Seer?"
The old-rock-lady and I eyed each other. I have no idea what she saw but I saw and old lady that very nearly reminded me of the mummified corpse that used to hold the Spirit of Delphi before Rachel took over. Like Bock and the assassin, she had a stone in the forehead, presumably to tell which clan she was in. Her's and Bock's was green. Malachite, like what the assassin still knocked out called him. Her eyes were filmed over, white. You could tell they once sparkled with life. Now all they did was stare, tearing apart masks pieced by piece, unveiling secrets, come meant to be revealed, some that never should see the light of day.
I shuddered, I'm glad Rachel would not turn out that way...I think.
"You already know your purpose, Protector," Mother Teresa said, gesturing to Bock, "go and fulfill it."
I nodded curtly. "Right," I said, "just had to make it official. Nothing is official without an oracle."
Mother Teresa's lips twitched.
I turned to Bock. "Alright, let's do this," Isaid, rubbing my hands together, "what are we going to do with old 'son of a featherless chicken?'"
Bock frowned. "Do you not have questions?" He asked. "You are not fighting it?"
I shook my head. "I've learned the hard way what both fighting and running from it could do," I said ominously, "it's best not to do either."
Bock gave me a weird look before bowing to Mother Teresa. "Thank you, Mother Teresa," he said, "May Lazuli the all seeing watch over you."
"Let the stars guide you, Bock, son of Thophes," she replied, "and may the fates of your world watch over you, Fire Lord."
I nodded, not knowing what to reply with or how she knew of the fates. With out saying anything else, I bent down to pick the assassin up. With a grunt, I threw him over my shoulder.
"Oh, forgive me," Bock said as we left the dark cave, "I am Bock, son of Thophes, prince of the Malachite clan."
I nodded deeply, keeping all expression off my face. "We don't have time for me to list all my titles," I said straight faced, "not do I have the breath. You may call me Fire Lord."
Again, Bock gave me a look as he led me down into a deeper and larger cavern than the one Mother Teresa lived in.
"This is the home of the Malachite clan," Bock said, gesturing to the large cavern we walked into.
It was full of life, with rock giants bustling around, touches lived the walls, revealing more of the underground plaza than Mother Teresa's home. There were stalls lining the floor tow flights down, the stairs went off to the right and left of the opening that Bock and I came out of. There were tunnel openings spotting the stone walls and the sound of rushing water filled to cave, drowning out the hubbub of conversation down below.
It felt familiar somehow.
I pulled my hood further over my face before following Bock down, ready for the new life and adventure on this planet.
Or not.
Upon reaching the bottom floor, a fight broke out and someone ran into me, making me drop the giant I was carrying.
"Watch it! You might hurt yourself," I said kindly before I got a good look at the person who ran into me. The face I was looking at made me freeze. He looked almost exactly the same as when I last saw him, his smug look seemed permanent and he still had weak muscles. Then I saw the sign of my mother on his wrist.
"Where did you get that, Calem Peterson?" I said in a cold, emotionless voice.
"You know this man, Fire Lord?" Bock asked me, shocked.
I looked up to answer to Bock only to see the face of the girl that broke my heart. "Annabeth Chase," I growled.
One thing was different. They both had the symbol of a traitor on their foreheads.
"What are you two traitors doing here?" I growled, silencing any conversation going on around me. The only sound now was the rushing water somewhere in the cavern.
"Who are you?" Calem sneered, "and how do you know our names?"
I hesitated, unsure as if to trust the rock giants here. I glanced at Bock, who had a completely confused look on his face. He was looking between the three of us, trying to figure out what exactly was going on. Then, slowly, I pulled down my hood.
"My real name is Percy Jackson," I said quietly but I could still be heard around the plaza, "I know your names because you are the ones whom I used to call friends. At least for Annabeth that was true."
I made this one extra long since I won't be back until way later. I hope you like it!!
