"Do you have a boyfriend?"

"Me?... You mean me??"

"Yes of course, Jaz! who else?"

"Ermmmm... I don't have a boyfriend."

His blush suddenly turned into an annoying smirk.

"That mean you're very much single." He nodded.

I stared at the floor hoping someone would drag me away from him. Just then, someone came.

Everyone welcomed him as he joined the party.

Let's join the party, Don. I need to meet other guests.

Okay, let's go. We walked together back and grandma finally sighted me.

"Here she comes." Granny voiced excitedly. Jasmine, "I want you to meet Joel Williams your long lost brother. And this is his girlfriend, Roslynn Bankole."

"Meet Jazmine Williams." She said ,introducing the both of us.

"It's nice meeting both of you, grandma had told me a lot." I greeted.

"Nice meeting you too sis!" Joel and I shake hands while his girlfriend curled up on his back like a little baby scared of a masquerade."

"How was the journey? Hope it wasn't stressful? Yes, we both had a wonderful vacation. But unfortunately  for us, we can't join the party."

Just then, Jacob walked to where we were.

Meet Jacob Scott. Also a new member in the family. He's the one I told you about.

"It's nice meeting you, Joel." Jacob greeted.

"Nice meeting you too." He signed and walked away with his girlfriend.

It seemed as if he was really tired but I think he was also rude. To me, he might be bit tough with the way he walked into the house. Grandmother has spent a lot, he didn't even say happy mother's day. It was too bad of him, I was disappointed.

Jay's eyes met mine again, he saw how  tight Don grabbed my arm. And he looked at if he was disappointed in me for a reason.

"I'll have to go now. I'll be having a meeting with the board of directors tomorrow morning."Don told Mrs. Williams.

"Okay, I think you should leave before it gets too late. Thanks a lot for making it tonight. My regards to the president."

"Okay, he'll hear."

"He turned to he, holding my both hands into his soft hands. I'll be leaving now my princess. I'll pay a visit soon so we can talk better."

"Okay, that would be great!" I smiled once more.

"By the way, It was nice meeting you." He passed a soft kiss on my forehead that almost made me faint.
"Bye now, and sleep tight."
Everyone smiled at both of us except Jay. I couldn't help but to wonder what was playing in his mind that moment but it was part of the plan. Part of his plan. I had to act it well.

"Okay, bye." I whispered shyly. I wondered why the president's son was so free with me.

'Could he be the one? Why would he do that on our first meeting? Has he fallen for me already? Hope these land wouldn't fail?'

"Nice to meet you, I'm Hon. Erika Jonas." An elderly woman introduced herself to me. I was so carried away but my eyes stared at Jay's. He seemed so irritated that he walked away.

I felt tears gathering in my eyes as my heart started sinking. I wanted to leave the Arty already but I haven't met anyone yet. The party was organised for me, I wouldn't ruin it. I wiped a way my tears and hide my feeling. Something keeps telling everything would be alright.

"Are you alright? You're looking so weary." Grandma cupped my face into her wrinkled hands.

"I'm fine grandma. I would be fine. Is it because of Donald or Joel. Don't worry my daughter, everything would be fine okay?" One could easily tell that Mrs. Williams felt my pain with the way she talked. It felt so good to know that she actually love me so much but I was actually fake. The fake granddaughter pretending to be the real one.

She held my hand and continued.

"I know this is a bit different, I'll introduce you to the most important people then we'll go to bed, okay?"

"Okay Grandmum, you're the best." I cuddle her into a warm hug.

"This is the CEO. Of Nigerian Association Company, Honorable Erika Jonas. She's also a close friend of mine and she would lead you through in whatever and this is Barrister Olufemi Olubanjo, My personal lawyer." She introduced me to them as we shook hands.

"Nice to meet you miss, You gave a remarkable speech earlier, I must say." Honorable Erika remarked.

"Thank you ma. I replied with a smile.
I really hope our relationship with you blossoms brighter." The Barrister concluded.

"It's an honor meeting you." I greeted as we proceeded.

Mrs. Fijabi Williams introduced me to many more guests before they left for their various destinations.

An Hour Later...

I went to knock on Jacob's room but he didn't open. O guess he was asleep or maybe he was just being jealous.
Too bad, I was alone. I felt a wind of loneliness blowing through me even when I met about a thousand of people today. I feel so broke and empty to know Jay wasn't happy with me. It's just a puzzle I need to solve. I went to my room thinking about all that happened.

I felt so down and lonely, I switched off the lights and laid on my soft bed but I sleep wouldn't come. I stiched on the lights again and went to the bathroom. I took a warm shower and wore a simple transparent night gown.

Just then, I felt a bit thirsty and felt like taking yogurt.
I strolled to the kitchen, downstairs as I noticed the silence that reigned. Everyone must have been asleep with the hesausting party that took place. I brought out a big gar of yogurt and I walked upstair. Suddenly, the lights tripped of and I was left in total darkness. I wanted to shout but I couldn't.

Too bad, I left my phone on the bed. All I know was, my room was near. Imagined walking a few steps then I pushed a door. Definitely, I was the only person who didn't lock the door so I jumped on my bed, still taking my yogurt.

Just then, I covered my legs in the blanket but I felt something drawing it back. I drew it again towards me and it drew it again from me. What was happening? My hands crawled to the side of the bed and I touched someone's face.

"Ahhh!" I screamed, throwing the yoghurt away. Suddenly, electricity was restored and I saw Joel before me.

The yogurt had poured on his bed and worse, he was almost naked, except for the Spiderman's boxers on his built body.

The lights suddenly want on and my eyes caught his well-built body. I couldn't help but to stare at his six... No! Eight rocky abs. I quickly looked away when I noticed my foolishness.

"What are you doing?! Get away from my body!" I yelled harshly at him.

"What the fuck are you doing in my room!" He stormed. "And what is this!"
He pointed to the yogurt on his bed. I quickly carried the jar, using the stainless spoon to pack it.

"I'm so sorry lil bro, it was a mistake."

Point of correction! I'm not your lil bro because we're no way related okay?!"

"Okay, I'm so sorry!" I rushed out.

"How rude?! Imagine how that good for nothing acted towards me? As if he actually owns the house. I don't blame him."I walked into my room angry for the way he acted towards me and for the fact that my precious yogurt poured on his bed. Why wasn't his girlfriend by his side? So frustrating!

How I wish Jacob was here,  I would have felt better. No! I dare not tell Jay about what happened tonight. He might get angry at me again for no reason.

Joel's P.O.V

His eyes cleared as he suddenly started thinking about what just happened. She wasn't so beautiful when I met her outside. How can she look so young if she's actually older than me.

Thank goodness Rose wasn't here, she would have caused another drama already.

Who was that? The most beautiful creature I've ever set my eyes on. I stared at her, my confused brown eyes, raking her sexy slim body in her pink - silky night-gown. My hungry face immediately turned hungry, trying to see more of the hidden beauty when she hit me hard with a pillow. My world of fantasy ended immediately and I just noticed. It was only both of us in my room. But how rude?
