Chapter 15
***
Jay's POV
Looking through the window, I see a winnow. Enjoying the cool breeze like the white meek dove. Like a melodious song, taking away my pains and sorrows, Reminds me a memory...
I grew up in the hardest way of life. I grew up the way I hated the most, watching people die for their sins...
Growing as a gang, For every fight, sweat and struggle was all to gain power, riches, position and fame. All I had years ago isn't enough for me as my heart yearns for more. Every human, every mortal thirst for these and all I have in my palms right now. I don't need to fight or kill... I would live a decent life for the love of my life. This would be my last mission, my last sin.

He extended his hands as if he was actually meeting me for the first time. Oh! How annoying, I so hang to hug him now.
Nice to meet you." He said, waking me up from my thoughts.
"The two of us shook hands firmly. Nice to meet you again, Mr.-"
You can call me Jacob Miss, Jay for short. He smiled at my stupidity, making his voice sound so hilarious.
"You both are more like siblings now, Mrs. Williams said. Come and sit near me, she said finely.
"Okay ma." I answered, staring into the arranged chips in the luxurious-looking, golden ceramic plate before me.
Wait?! Why is my heart racing so fast?
I cried in my head, holding my chest finely as if not to fall.
I swear, sitting beside Mrs. Williams and knowing Jay's mysterious eyes were stealing glances at the almost made me pee in my pants. It brought a tightening in my guts....
I was served potatoes chips, scooped eggs and fruit juice. Everything seed so yummy. But I hurried at feeling deep inside.
"So, Tell me more about yourself, I mean... What do you like personally? What things do you engage in? What are your aspirations?" Mrs. Williams asked cynically.
"Errmm... Actually." I started, thinking about what lies to make but nothing came up. I've never thought breakfast would be an interview this morning, neither was I even ready for any of these. I've never wanted anything in life except for my mums freedom to visit the world. Wait! Is this a wish or an ambition. Ugh! I have everything I want in this house, what else would I ever need..
"Yes, I'm listening." Mrs. Williams cleared her throat, staring at me again.
Jay too was doing the same but I looked at him as if I was trying to say, stop it!
"Errm, As I was saying ma, I grew up in a very small village in the out sketch of the town so... All I ever wanted was to live a small life and manage with I have. Although, I've always wanted to be a teacher, to motivate others and showing them what a beautiful place this earth is. I've always wanted to be a role model, to make my mum even happier." I paused for a while... Noticing everyone was paying attention to me, I felt myself pouring out emotionally, something I've never done with anyone before.
"But now that I've known the truth about who I am, I want to help my dad in whatever way he would even if he's dead, I want him to look at me in the afternoon like and say, I'm proud of you, Jasmine. I said, fighting down the hysteria burning inside of me."
Jay looked at me in astonishment for what I just said. Then he smirked at me but, I looked away in shyness. Mrs. Williams eyes were already teary, I handed her an hanky to wipe off her tears.
"It's all my fault, jasmine. Only if I hadn't taken those wrong plans. Yet, I'm glad to see how strong, determined and passionate you've grown to be. Only if Elizabeth would forgive me yet."
"Don't worry my dear, I'll organize a welcome party for you next tomorrow. Joel would also arrive that same day so... We can have a get-together and I would introduce you to the high table."
"Wow! I'll be glad to finally meet my lil bro." I smiled. Everyone smiled as well, it seemed they believed me.

Three Days Later...
It was 15th of March, The National Mother's Day. And Joel Williams is meant come in from India today. He and his girlfriend.
Mrs. Williams, my new grandmum ordered the driver to take me shopping.
"Ma, what about the money for clothes?'
"Don't worry my dear, I'll send it into their account. I already to them that you'll be coming this morning. They'll be expecting you already."
"Wow! This is new. Thanks for everything grandma. The truth is... I've never gone for shopping before. It's my first time."
"Hun! Don't worry, you'll get used to it soon. Just have a nice time and pick whatever is nice, okay?"
"Okay mum!" I replied as she nodded her head in amazement.
It was a huge Lamborghini, the driver opened the door as I entered. He was talk and built but almost looked like an albino. The tribal marks lying across his cheeks were so huge, as if his parents regretted giving birth to him.
Immediately in seated in it's executive chairs, I felt icy because of the air conditioner. Everyone seemed to be addicted to it. I wanted to ask him to turn it off but... I guessed I'll also get use to it as well. I'll soon get used to everything.
It seemed the driver noticed I was already shivering. He stole glances at me through the front mirror and finally asked.
"Are you alright ma?"
"Yes, I'm fine."
He smiled and opened the locked windows. Then turned off the air conditioner and took another left turn.
"Why did you off the A.C? I was actually enjoying it."
"Oh! I thought it made you uncomfortable ma'am."
"Please, up it on please and close these windows. I won't get used to this life if I keep avoiding things like this."
He did as I commanded and I felt comfortably uncomfortable again. I smiled at the feel of it and smiled. My eyes caught him stealing glances from the tiny mirror before him.
"What's your name?" I questioned
"Me? I'm Adedoyin but you can call me Oyin ma." He answered nervously.
"Nice to meet you Oyin. You're so friendly, I'll love you to be my personal driver."
His pink face turned red for a minute. As if he was stunned by my words.
"It would be my pleasure, ma."
"Good, I'll discuss things with grandmother. I hope she agrees."
"Thanks a lot madam. I promise to serve you with my life." He muttered with so much joy.
It's as if he was anxious about it. I too, was feeling the same way. I was feeling a little uneasy about everything, and the people I'll finally meet later that day.

The makeup artist makes my face into a totally different angel. Sarah and Rehab wore on me a long purple gown that has a slit by it's side. It took hours before I settled for it in the boutique this afternoon. Since evey cloth I wear actually fits for today's party. Interior and exterior of the mansion was creatively decorated with lights, flowers and balloons. A set of musicians were playing live on the stage. The colour for the evening was purple and white, but the men wore black suits.
It is as a pool party with prominent people. There were lots of executive guests from within and outside the country, out of which were; ministers, ambassadors, well known movie directors, actors, the press, popular musicians, business partners and most of all the Donald Grayson, president's son.
It was amazing indeed, Men and women who have achieved money, power and fame attended my party. Most of the guests were married, since they were close to grandmother.
There were abundance of food and drinks, the waiters served using a different uniform as it was an outing.
Suddenly, Mrs. Fijabi William started clinking a sliver spoon on her glassy wine-cup. She ordered the music band to pause for a while as she took the microphone.
"Good evening everyone! It's nice to see another beautiful day like this one, and it's good to know that this much people love and care for me so much. I'm blessed to know that you all attended this get-together despite your tight schedules. Thanks a billion times to everyone, Happy Mother's Day!
The main reason for this home party to to welcome my long lost granddaughter home. She's the last living of me, and the apple of my eyes, Jasmine Fredrick!" She said to my direction as everyone turned to my direction.
It was beautiful and amazing at the same time. They welcomed me with around of applause as I walked to my new grandmother.
Some where recording the events on their phones while others were taking shots. Mrs. Williams held her hand out at me and I held it tight. Then she handed me the mike.
I felt so nervous as I trembled to the stage. Immediately, I felt a drop of sweat fall from the middle of my back to my butt. I only recognized few of the guests from television and newspapers.
"Good Evening all. It's actually my first time speaking in such an event. I mean.. I've never stood up in front of an audience before except in classes. But this is real audience- with grown ups yet the mentally blessed."
The audience replied me with a warm smile.
"My past years was spent on fear of the outside world, not knowing I actually belonged here. I still remember clearly, my mum's last words we're... 'Find your grandmother, live a better life and make her proud, after which she sent me here'. I'm sure my mother, Elizabeth's soul would be happy wherever it is right now. Thanks you so much for accepting me back for who I am. Grandma, I'm most grateful for this grand welcome. I promise to give you all my best and even make you prouder. Happy Mother's Day in memory of my mother. And Happy Mother's Day to you Grandmother."
"Awwwn!" The audience roared and applauded. It was so beautiful, no one thought she would ever find me.
Grandma hugged me with so much gratitude as we both stepped down.
I met new friends, girls in their late teens and early twenties walked towards me as I joined the crowd . From the look of things, they were well spoken and extensively travelled. Each of them gave a beaming smile towards me and wanted to know me more. Everyone wanted to be my friend.
"Jaz!" Mrs. Williams called me as I gently walked to her. There was a tall looking built guy standing before her. He looked so matured and handsome, yet, I wouldn't leave my Jaycob for him. Grandma seemed so happy with him as she introduced.
"Meet Prince Donald Grayson, the president's son. Well, I call him prince because he's also the member of a royal family. Donald here, is more like a grandson to me since I'm his godmother."
"Nice to meet you Princess Jazmine. He held my hand and kissed it gently."
I felt overwhelmed with what he just did and just smiled.
"My godmother had told me a lot about you. Your Majesty, I wish to become your friend and I'll like to know more your humble self."
"Excuse me Mr. Donald, but I'm no close to royalty." I replied nervously but Donald and grandma smiled at my reaction.
"Excuse me please, I need to attend to some guests."Grandmum gave me a peck and left me with the stranger.
"Call me Don," he insisted with a terse speaking voice. He had a beautiful black eye that danced.
"Okay sir." I muttered shyly.
He blushed at me for a while but the truth is... I was admitting the great respect I have for him.
"Don't call me sir, I'm Don."
"Okay, Don."
"That's better," he smiled again. Let's take a walk together." He muttered as I smiled at his proposal.
My eyes caught the stern look on Jay's face. I looked at him with an expression that seem to ask 'Why! Or What was wrong?!'
But he replied with another frustrating look. It seemed he was angry for the fact that I was getting closer to the president's son.
"Are you alright?" Donald calmly woke my from my thoughts.
"Yes! Yes, I'm fine. So what do you do for a living?" I grabbed his arm stylishly as we walked side to side to the corner of the garden.
"I manage my father's companies within and outside this country. I'm a businessman and also an entrepreneur."
Few people stared at us as we walked. Some girls were amazed while others were jealous as well.
"Wow! That's totally awesome. What do you do if I may ask.
Even though I'm an educational facilitator, I'm yet to know where my destiny lies within the Williams." I noticed his sexy eyes were staring deeply into mine and I became confused for a second. "Errr... What I mean is, I might own my own company or University tomorrow. Why are you staring at me this way?"
"You're so beautiful. I mean, you're an angel to be an educational facilitator. I think you should be a model or something." Those eyes with the laugh lines in the corners twinkled the way the stars always did, and he said, "We've never met, but I can tell immediately that you're very beautiful and intelligent."
"Thank you, Don. I must say, you're so friendly and you have a great pasonalty."
Then he grabbed my hands as if he find something uniqely different in me.
"Do you have a boyfriend?"
