Chapter 5

Ginger sat next to Bakugou in the nurse's tent anxiously, bouncing their leg as their anxiety was getting the best of them. Recovery Girl told them that he had several broken ribs and internal bleeding. He was going to be out for a few hours, by the looks of it. Ginger looked down at his hand that lay next to his side, limp and full of bruises. He really did his best against All Might. Ginger could remember being in the U.S. when All Might was in America, seeing all of his rescues and fights against villains. They knew how strong he was, which is why they were so anxious for Bakugou's recovery. Midoriya was worse for wear, but he didn't pass out after the fight like Bakugou did. He actually helped the both of them cross and then Bakugou passed out.

Ginger held his hand gently, trying not to scratch him with their long, sharp claws. They sighed, rubbing their thumb pad against his knuckles, relieving some tension in his hands. He's always so tense... They amused themselves, watching Midoriya come into the tent to see how he was doing. Ginger nodded to him, moving their tail to the side so he could sit on the other stool next to the bed. They sighed, looking over to Midoriya, who was flexing his fingers, looking deep in thought. "Um... how- how did you do?" he asked timidly, the cat hero not looking at him. They hummed, flipping over Bakugou's hand, looking at the calluses in thought. "Good. We passed. Koda needs to get over his odd fear of bugs. Jirou needs to do more research on known opponents. I could have done more. I need to see the tapes," Ginger spoke passively, giving him their thoughts on the fight.

He nodded, looking back to the boy in bed, getting up. "If he finds out that I was here, I'll be dead. Keep an eye on him for me, yeah?" Midoriya asked, waving goodbye as he exited the tent. Ginger nodded, sighing. Come on, Katsuki. Wake up. You're stronger than this. They lifted his hand to their forehead, trying to hold back tears. They knew he was fine, but the fact that he's been out cold for so long has made them so anxious. They could hear their other classmates coming out from their exams, having seen Mina and Kaminari pass by to be checked on. They knew who passed and who didn't based on their stance and disposition. If they didn't know any better, they would've thought Bakugou failed. But, they knew he would never fail, even in the smallest of tasks. That's just how he was.

Ginger heard a groan, making their ears and head perk up, looking at his face. He opened his eyes, squinting up at the artificial light that was above the bed. "Oh my god, you're awake! How are you feeling?" Ginger asked, trying to keep their voice down to not give him a headache. He looked over to them, face softening a bit. "I'm fine, kitty," he said, sitting up slowly, groaning at the stinging pain in his ribs and stomach. "Just a little sore," he continued, Recovery Girl popping up from behind the curtain. "Marvelous! Now, you two get going, everyone is ready to go," she said, lowering the bed to help him get up better. Ginger helped him get steady on his feet, stepping away when he lightly pushed them aside. Ginger walked alongside him, doing some small talk.

It was weird to see his arms without the large gauntlets. He'll have to talk to the support class to get them remade, and possibly improved. They always seem to break into big fights. They both got onto the bus and they were off, back to the school. It was the end of the day already and Aizawa had dismissed them after they changed, letting them go to the dorms. Ginger walked slowly, hearing the light tapping of their claws against the concrete. They received the footage of the fight from Aizawa and was a bit anxious to watch it over.

Ginger knew that they hadn't done as much as the other two. They were more emphasized as support for the other two, which they were fine with. They were giving out pointers for what the other two could do. If they wanted, they would've sprinted out of there quickly. Present Mic wasn't big on hand-to-hand combat, but he would put up a fight before the cat would cross. They were more focused on getting out as a team since the other two had more support-type quirks. Ginger wiped their feet on the welcome mat to get the dirt off of their paw pads, taking a look at the board. They were on dinner duty with Tsu. They hummed as they went up to their room to change, bag hanging off of their shoulder as they chewed on some jerky.

They made their way down the hallway of the fourth floor, opening the door. They noticed a small envelope on the floor. They picked it up, shutting the door, oddly suspicious of it. They had to, Class 1-A was targeted a lot by villains, from what they watched on the news. They even saw something that regarded Bakugou and Midoriya. The Sludge villain abducted Katsuki and threatened to kill him on sight. He looked terrified in the footage, being suffocated by the sludge villain as he was slowly being enveloped by gray-brown sludge. Ginger shivered at that image, taking a look at who sent it. They recognized the handwriting as Bakugou's since they had been studying his notes to catch up for the week that they were missing.

They set it down on their desk, changing out of their uniform and into some comfier clothes, tying their dyed purple hair into a bun, revealing the undercut below that was their natural hair color, brown. They picked the letter up, opening it tentatively with their claws. It read:

'Hey kitty, It's Katsuki. I would like it if you went out on a date with me sometime later this week during the break before summer camp. It's fine if you say no. Just let me know if you are interested. And don't let anybody read this. They don't need to pry into our private lives. -Katsuki'

Ginger blinked rapidly, a hand over their mouth as they read the small note over and over again. It was definitely from him. They could smell his sweet caramel smell of sweat from the nitroglycerin on the note, along with his fire smoke smell mixing in with the caramel. Of course, they were interested. Was this boy insane?! To think that they were not! Ginger chuckled softly to themselves, hiding the note in between one of their favorite novels on their bookshelf, heading downstairs to cook with Tsu, who sent them a message shortly after for them to join her. They went down the elevator, passing by the group who was watching T.V. It consisted of Shoji, Tokoyami, Hagakure, Sato, Sero, and Mineta. They were watching some popular T.V. show that they haven't seen in the U.S. Must be a Japanese show.

They strolled into the kitchen, waving to Tsu. "Hey Tsu, what are we making today? I can make a really nice chicken carbonara if you are interested," they said, Tsu putting a finger to her chin. "That seems nice, kero. I think we do have some chicken breast in the freezer from our last shopping trip," she said, heading to the freezer to grab the frozen chicken breast, putting it into hot water to thaw. Ginger nodded, grabbing the rest of the ingredients for chicken carbonara, humming softly to themselves as they started to teach Tsu how to make chicken carbonara.

Ginger sat in their room, taking notes as they watched the footage from training sessions and the exam. They wanted to improve so they could get out of the stupid governmental program that the U.S. had them stuck in. They wanted a weapon, and they could see how they were improving, based on the email that Ginger received to go over the progress of the past few months. They were planning on another check-in during the break, two weeks before the camp and one week before their next heat. They were carefully planning their heats, trying to find out how they can attend classes during that week. Their heat left them defenseless and vulnerable to every person they come in contact with. If they smell good to them, they'll probably pounce on them, as they did with Bakugou.

They sighed, stretching in their seat as they turned off the footage, shutting their notebook that was solely for revisions on their training. They thought back to their hero costume. They wanted more items to help them expand their quirk, but there wasn't much that could be helped. They could get medical supplies and little cat figures to give out to small kids. Ginger started sketching out a belt that had two bags that can be detached. They needed it to lay above their tail and be easy to put on and take off, so they chose a clip belt.

They heard a knock on their door, making them look at the time. It was only 10.30 pm. Ginger got up, opening their door to whoever was outside. "Oh, hey Katsuki, shouldn't you be sleeping right now?" they asked, raising a brow in question. He huffed, pushing his way in, flopping down onto their bed, opening his arms. Ginger smiled softly at the invitation for cuddles, turning off their lights and crawling into bed with him. He placed their head under his chin, petting their ears with one hand and the other around their waist, pulling them in. They nuzzled into his neck, breathing in his scent, arms against his chest. They purred softly as he petted them, thinking back to the letter.

"So, where were you thinking of taking me?" they asked, probing the question. Bakugou seemed to think for a minute and said, "We can go see the fireworks together or go to the festival. You're not very familiar with the traditions here so I thought I could show you." He was talking so quietly, giving them his thoughts for a date. Ginger nodded, and said, "That would be nice. I heard that the festivals are fun. Is it the ones with the kimonos?" He nodded wordlessly, taking their hair out of the messy bun it was in. Ginger sat in thought, thinking of what they could tell him so that he can support them in some way. They could tell that he was very worried when the collar shocked them so much into a panic attack. He didn't really know the real reason why Ginger was here.

Ginger stopped purring after a bit, which Katsuki noticed. "Something wrong?" he asked, tilting their head up for eye contact. Ginger glanced away, the wall suddenly becoming very interesting. "What if I told you the real reason why I'm here? Why I need to wear this collar? Would you... would you still be around?" they asked, anxious about the answer he would give. He looked curious, eyebrows knitting together as he tried to come up with the right words to say. "As long as you're not associated with villains, I don't care what the reason is. Tell me," he said, making Ginger look at him by cupping their cheeks. They nodded, gulping down their anxiety, and letting out a shaky breath.

"Um, well, let's start with something simple. The government in the U.S. doesn't trust my quirk. Every person in the U.S. are required to be evaluated at age 7 to determine the safety of their quirk, based on the past when quirks first came up. The U.S. was just coming out of some sticky terrorist situation when quirks first sprouted up. First, people were detained and questioned about it, eventually finding out that it was all across the world very quickly. With the birthing of mutated quirks that became more dangerous than the next, every person needs to be evaluated. As per usual, the quirk pops up around 4 or 5, unless it's a mutated quirk, and the child is given a couple of years to get used to their quirk before the evaluation. I was in the same boat. My mother had a mutation quirk that allowed them to shift into any animal that she wanted and was deemed as a yellow quirk. My father had a quirk that was basically anything related to cheetahs, and he was deemed as a green quirk. The yellow and green are a determination of the safety of the quirk. With the two combined quirks from my parents, I got this cat quirk. However, the genes were mutated from my grandparents' quirks, which were red. So, it was deemed a Feral Cat quirk, being deemed as red. I was taken immediately from my family and friends and was required to stay under strict supervision with the higher officials," as they talked, Katsuki sat and listened, not uttering a word. Ginger was just going on, explaining everything from the beginning.

"They admitted me into the military academies, deeming my quirk useful in fighting situations. They put this shock collar on me to monitor how my quirk was used and to stop it when necessary. With all that, they wanted to make me into a weapon for them to use. I was superior in senses compared to the other people in the academy, making me great for stealth and rescue missions. On top of having my feral form, I have a very well-rounded ability that they sought after for heroes and people in our military. They noticed that I was getting far better than some of my advisors, and needed someone to teach me more, to get better. So, they sent me here, to get more training so they have the ultimate weapon in their hands. So, yeah," Ginger let it out so easily, not looking Katsuki in the eyes, their anxiety heightening at the prolonged silence, small electrical shocks running through their neck.

Katsuki ran his hand down to the collar, drifting his fingers over the scratched metal, running over the lights, which glowed a faint green to indicate that it was on. His hand and fingers drifted to the back of the collar, going over the small panel that showed the heartbeat of Ginger. Then, he felt the two, very small screws that kept the collar in place, almost looking invisible to avoid being taken off. "Well, that's a lot to take in. Policies between our two countries are odd and very different. If I had that evaluation, I think I would be considered as a red quirk. It must be hard being put under such scrutiny just because of your quirk," he spoke softly, placing his forehead against Ginger's, making their eyes widen in response to what he said. He wasn't angry, upset, or even disappointed. He was sympathetic and sad.

Ginger teared up a little, staring at his bright, ruby red eyes with their milk chocolate brown ones, biting their lip with their sharp canine. Katsuki brought his hand to their lips, pulling their bottom lip away from their teeth, a small drop of blood oozing from the puncture. He kissed them softly, holding them close as he let all of his emotions ooze into that one kiss. Ginger kissed back, heart fluttering as he gently cradled their head to hold him close. The two pulled away and Ginger buried their head into Katuski's shoulder, crying softly, glad that they could confide this to someone who was not in charge of anything. They wouldn't be able to confide in Aizawa or Nezu about the whole situation, since their job is just to train the cat into being the ultimate weapon for the U.S. But, Katsuki. Katsuki wasn't a higher-up. He wasn't any type of authority. He was just... a person they could trust. Something that they haven't had in a long time.

Ginger opened their mouth and said, "I'm glad. I'm glad I told you... Thank you for listening..." Katsuki nodded, and replied, "No problem kitty. But, if anything happens, you have to let me know now." Ginger nodded and began talking about the checkups for every month and that their heat followed the week after. He asked some questions regarding it, and Ginger answered all of them. How could they not? He knew everything now.

~

Ginger stood in the nurse's office for the exam, standing tall as Agent Brooke took notes of Ginger's progress on her laptop. She spoke with Nezu and Aizawa, the two giving note of the control over Beast Mode that Ginger has now. Agent Brooke eventually dismissed the two, beginning the regular body check-up on Ginger. Ginger shifted into their Beast Mode, being pliant as Agent Brooke did what she needed to do, eventually turning the collar back on abruptly, making Ginger growl, shifting back. The shocks dissipated, and they rubbed their neck, saying, "You could warn me instead of doing that shit." "I didn't ask for your opinion, Agent. Now, go. I've gotten everything I need," she said, making Ginger roll their eyes, walking away. They huffed, shutting the door with a slam, turning sharply to the classroom. Katsuki asked them to meet them there after the checkup to go to lunch together and eat with his group.

They huffed as they slid the door open, noticing that Bakugou was in there, as he promised. Ginger's anger subsided as they wandered over to him, taping his desk to grab his attention from his phone. He looked up, about to bark at whoever was bothering him, catching his mouth when he saw Ginger. "Ready to go?" they asked, tail swaying as he got up. He was wearing the spring uniform, and his biceps were stretching the fabric nicely. They tore their eyes away from his muscles after noticing the light scars on his upper arms from their last heat. They walked with him quietly, walking quite close to him, enough to brush their hands together. Ginger noticed, stepping away a little to give him some space. However, they noticed that he interlocked their pinkies together, something small and can be mistaken as hands overlapping by a passerby.

Ginger blushed a light pink, scratching their cheek a little in embarrassment at the sweet and small gesture. They both entered the lunchroom, Katsuki slinking his hand away as his group of friends spotted him, waving at him. He rolled his eyes, letting Ginger grab their food first before they headed to the table. "Hey, Ginger! How was the evaluation for the transfer program? You're not going away, right?" Kaminari prodded, taking a big bite of his steam bun. "Nah, I'm doing great. My grades are up to par and I can stay here for the summer," Ginger had recited this lie for any questions, sitting next to Kirishima, across from Bakugou. "Yay! We can go to the summer camp together! I'm so excited!" Mina said, clapping her hand excitedly. Ginger nodded, taking a bite of their beef katsudon.

They could smell the spices coming from Bakugou's meal, not fazed in the slightest. He smelled spicy all the time, and it was somewhat comforting. Ginger listened to the others talk, keeping an eye on their tail to make sure nobody stepped on their tail. Bakugou tapped the table in front of them, making them look at him in question. He pointed to their tail and then to his lap, silently telling them to place their tail on his lap. Ginger chuckled softly at the consideration of keeping their tail safe from harm's way, laying the five-foot-long tail in his lap. He pet the tail with his free hand, eating his food with the other. Ginger talked with the others about summer camp, smiling at them softly as they were asking questions about their interests.

Ginger indulged them in what they were interested in and what they liked to do in their free time. They could tell Bakugou was listening as he was slowing his pets on their tail. Ginger hummed, looking forward to the two weeks before summer camp, even if one of them was their heat. Today was their last day before break and they were excited. Katsuki and Ginger were supposed to go to a festival on Wednesday, just as the blonde had planned for the two. Ginger groaned when the bell rang, making the table get up to place their trays onto the moving conveyor belt. Ginger followed the group quietly, Bakugou in the lead as he yelled at the other students that surrounded him, talking excitedly.

Ginger smiled softly at the sight, walking into the classroom with the others. The bell rang for class to start, and Aizawa stepped into the classroom, looking tired. "We'll be doing a simple exercise. It'll be like the first day Ginger came in. They will be the villain and you need to get out of the base without being caught. I hope you all have gotten better at stealth. Get into your costumes and head out to Ground Gamma. You all have the alternative of capturing Ginger with this tape. After the mock stealth mission, you guys are free to head back to the dorms," he spoke, pressing the button for the suits to come out. Ginger grabbed theirs, heading to the girl's changing room, bringing their backpack along.

Ginger stepped into the locker room, getting to the back corner of the locker room, away from prying eyes. They opened the suitcase, smiling at the belt that was in the suitcase. They asked for it from Kin a little bit ago and he was finally done. They looked in the small latched bags, seeing medical supplies and small cat figures. They changed swiftly, heading out to Ground Gamma. They looked around the pipe-filled grounds, excitement going through them as they could see all of the hiding places. "Ginger will be required to bring people who are caught to this small caged area, making it official that they were caught. Everyone will be heading out first and then Ginger is coming to find you. Hide well," Aizawa said, motioning people to go.

Their other classmates ran off, Aizawa putting a timer onto the large board. "Ten minutes for them to hide. You will be in hunting mode. Use Beast Mode if you would like. Give it your all, this footage will be used for the next evaluation," he said bluntly, Ginger nodding as they waited for the time to pass by. A large blare shouted across the grounds, a quiet beep turning off the collar, Ginger ran off immediately. They ran on the ground, eyes scanning the area carefully, stopping in a large clearing. They decided to shift into Beast Mode, letting out a loud roar, hearing a quiet yelp nearby. They swiveled their head toward the noise, stalking towards the noise. Unbeknownst to Hagakure, Ginger had their hearing locked onto the invisible girl.

They let their senses heighten, smelling the girl's peachy perfume. They turned a corner, nose bumping into something invisible, making Hagakure yelp and try to run. Ginger roared, jumping up and colliding with the invisible girl, gloves, and shoes waving around as she tried to wiggle away. "Aww, man! I can't believe I was caught! Nooooo!" she whined, trying to get away. Ginger rolled their eyes, gently picking her up, trotting over to the area where Aizawa was. Ginger licked Hagakure's hand as an apology, running away to find the other students. Ginger was using their smell mostly to find the other students. Some were almost able to get away, hiding in some tight areas that Ginger could almost not fit in, getting them anyway.

There were only two students left. Bakugou and Midoriya. Ginger shifted back into their regular form, wiping some sweat from their brow, and looking around. The only few areas that they haven't checked are areas that they have already been in. Midoriya and Bakugou are definitely going to put up a fight, just like the others. They sighed as they walked, humming. "You know, you two were purposely left for last, correct? You guys cause so much wreckage that could injure our classmates that I wanted to get them out of here first. If you guys just want a duel, you could come out, right now," Ginger spoke loudly, trying to coax them out. They heard jumping from far away, making them smirk. It wasn't Bakugou, based on the lightness in the feet. Bakugou was a lot more heavy-footed than he would like to admit.

Best saved for last, I suppose. They thought to themselves, catching the small specks of green lightning in the distance, making his way over. "Awe, Midoriya, are you coming to capture the big bad villain? I'm afraid I can't let you do that," they spoke towards him, who looked startled that he was able to be spotted from so far away. Ginger looked towards one of the pipes, jumping up with their strong, cat-like legs, landing successfully. They made it all the way to the top, making eye contact with Midoriya, who stopped on top of the far away pipes. "We could make this easy and get you out of here before the blonde decides to explode the place. I just need to bring you back to the base and then I can get to him," they said, tail waving slowly as they kept their eyes on him.

"N-No way! I'm going to capture you!" he said, looking at them in determination. Ginger shrugged, shifting into their Beast form, with a dangerous look in their eyes. Midoriya looked at them and jumped forward, electricity going through them. Ginger dogged, hearing loud explosions coming from far away. They growled, jumping forward towards Midoriya, jaw opening wide to try and bite him. He dodged, a loud chomp that could rival an alligator's being heard as they skidded to the lower levels, slinking in between pipes. Midoriya followed them, jumping high above to find an opening of pipes.

Ginger was heading to the explosions, unbeknownst to Midoriya. Bakugou would definitely fight him for the glory of capturing the large cat, therefore going to tire the two out, like in the exams. Hopefully. Ginger stopped at the clearing where Bakugou was, Midoriya jumping down to meet him. "What the hell, Deku! I thought your useless nerd self would've been captured by now! Go away, I need to find myself a cat!" Bakugou yelled, baring his teeth to the strength quirk holder, not knowing that the cat quirk holder was nearby, listening. Midoriya spoke up, keeping his eyes on the pipes, "No! We have to work together! Ginger is in the pipes, I was just chasing them!" Ginger moved from the area of pipes that Midoriya was initially chasing, keeping their feet light as they retracted their claws to keep from scratching the metal, trying to avoid giving away their position.

Bakugou rolled his eyes, yelling, "Yeah right! Ginger would've already been here because of my explosions! Maybe their hearing isn't the best!" "Kacchan! They led me here!" he said, emphasizing the 'led'. Ginger smirked, or as much as a large cat can, seeing the startled look on his face. He looked into the pipes, squinting into the darkness to see if he could see the large cat. Ginger grabbed a rock with their tail, throwing it as far away as they could without the rock or the cat being spotted. Bakugou and Midoriya turned towards the noise, an explosion sent that way and a huge gust of wind. Ginger pounced onto Midoriya's back, picking him up by the collar and running as fast as they could to the base. Midoriya was winded, coughing up some spit as he struggled to get out of the strong grip of the cat's jaws.

Ginger could hear the explosions following them, not much caring as they made it to the base, promptly dropping Midoriya and running away, slinking into the darkness swiftly before Bakugou could spot them. They kept their eyes trained on Bakugou, who landed near the base, cursing as he saw Midoriya and his classmates there, looking around to see if he could find any signs of where the cat could have gone. Ginger started running away from the base, making as much sound as they could. They saw that they only had fifteen minutes out of the forty-five that was given to the class to either capture Ginger or get the hell out of there.

Ginger panted as they made their way towards the large silos where Shoji was hiding, grunting as they made it to the large clearing, Bakugou right behind them. "You ran the wrong way, dumb cat!" he yelled, landing in front of them, ten feet away. Ginger morphed back into their regular form, panting. "Maybe I did that on purpose. You are quite destructive when you get competitive, but you happened to stay out of my radar for most of the exercise. How'd you do that?" they asked, looking at him steadily, watching his every move. "I covered myself in the dirt. I know you have a keen sense of smell so being covered in dirt could've diminished that. Being quiet was hard though, considering that you're hearing is impeccable. I took note of every mock stealth mission that you were the main villain for," he said, palms sparking and popping with explosions.

Ginger watched on, laying their ears back from the intrusive noise, humming. "Clever. Now, do you want to duke this out, or would you like to go home?" Ginger asked, standing in a defensive stance, remembering what Gunhead had taught them. "You know my speed, kitty. Let's get this over with, I hear a win with my name on it," Bakugou said, taking the first swing. Ginger blocked it, grabbing his palm and shoulder, kneeing his stomach, and throwing him over their shoulder and onto the ground. He grunted, his head spinning somewhat as Ginger attempted to drag him to the base. He popped an explosion on their leg, making them hiss as they let go of him. He quickly jumped up, taking out the tape to wrap around one of their hands. Ginger slipped away from him, kicking his knees in, grabbing his arm and holding it against his back, holding the other hand with their left foot.

They panted as they leaned down to Bakugou, trying to pull a trump card as they whispered, "I would lay down if I were you. You may not have as much obedience as you would like if you keep going like this." Bakugou grunted, struggling to get up at the sheer strength in the cat quirk holder's legs. Ginger tied his hands together with the tape that was dropped away from him, and shifted into Beast Mode afterward, growling at Bakugou as he bared his teeth to them. They picked him up from the back of his shirt, his feet scrambling around as he tried to land a kick on them, which proved ineffective. They dropped him on the ground at the base, shifting back into their regular mode, seeing that they had five minutes left until the clock blared. They were panting, sweat dripping down their face from the long usage of Beast Mode.

They haven't used it for that long before and was having a hard time keeping control of the primal instincts in their mind. When they were fighting Bakugou, they almost yielded to him when he popped the explosion on their leg. As they thought about it, they looked at their right leg, noticing the blood oozing down their leg, and burnt clothing fraying around the injury. "Great job, Ginger. Only a few people were able to escape. So, you got... 19 out of 20," Aizawa said, counting the students' heads. "Let me guess, Uraraka?" they asked, seeing that she was there at the platform, but hadn't seen her that much during the exercise. "Yes, she floated above the pipes, using them to her advantage of escaping. Head out everyone, have a nice two weeks of summer. We will meet here on June 3rd for the summer camp at 6.30 am sharp," he said, dismissing the students.

Ginger limped to the locker rooms, leaning against Tsu, who offered to help them there. Ginger talked softly with the other girls, trying to ease their worries. They really wanted to change before heading to Recovery Girl's office, wanting to get out of the long-sleeved turtle neck before they died of heatstroke. Ginger carefully changed out of their costume, taking out some alcohol wipes from their medicine bag and dabbing at the injury, hissing at the stinging. They sighed as they wrapped it with gauze, heading to Recovery Girl's not soon after. They huffed as they walked into the open door, waving to the elderly woman. "Oh goodness, what happened this time?" she asked, helping the limping cat to one of the beds.

"Ka- Bakugou got me pretty bad in a mock exercise. He burnt me," Ginger said, pulling up their pant leg to show her. Recovery Girl nodded, gesturing for the cat to lean down, letting the elderly woman kiss their cheek. "Let that sink in and then you can go. Stay here for a bit, okay sweetie?" she said, Ginger nodding, pulling out their phone. The closed-door slammed open, Bakugou stomping in. "Stupid cat! If you just let me capture you, you wouldn't have gotten injured!" Bakugou yelled, Ginger rolling their eyes. "That wasn't the objective I was given, now was it?" Ginger quipped back, still looking at their phone. Bakugou huffed, sitting next to the cat, grumbling about the fact that he would've won if they surrendered.

"Okay you two, Ginger should be okay now, so go on to the dorms. I do not want to see you two before the summer camp, got it?" she said sternly, the two teenagers nodding, heading out. Ginger walked fine now, their bag hanging off of their shoulder. The two walked quietly, Bakugou stomping more, hands in his pockets. Ginger glanced at the blonde, noticing the frown deep on his face. "What's wrong?" "What are you on about, Kitty?" he grumbled, looking at the brown tabby-eared person. They rolled their eyes, saying, "Come on, you know what I mean. Were you pissed off about what I said at the match?" He huffed, Ginger nodding. Bullseye.

"Don't worry, Kats, nothing will change regarding the heat. We'll still have fun~" they flirted, laughing a bit at the look he gave them. They both entered the dorm, Ginger heading towards their dorm room immediately. They were looking forward to next Wednesday.
