Kyungsoo’s POV

Ako ang sumunod na tumayo pagkatapos ni Kai. Nakangiti akong lumapit sa kanya at inabot ang peony na hawak ko.

“For the most beautiful princess in my cute eyes.” She giggled. I put my hand on her back and get her other hand. Ano kayang pinag-uusapan nila ni Kai kanina at panay tawa nila? Parang ang saya-saya nga nila kanina eh. Nakakainggit tuloy.

“Kyunggie… may iniisip ka ba?” Ngumiti lang ako sa kanya.

“Bakit mo naman ako kailangang isipin kung katabi mo lang din naman ako’t hawak mo sa mga kamay mo?” Aish! Pwede pa paused sandali? Pupunta lang akong banyo at jijingle. Uber magpakilig si Xyla, nababakla tuloy ako. I bit my lower lip to stop myself from smiling giddily but I let out a giggle and she giggled too.

“Ang cute mo Kyungsoo.” Di ako makatingin sa kanya, paano, titig na titig lang siya sa mga mata ko. I know that I have adorable eyes but can’t she unless stop staring at me?

“Do I have dirt on my face? Or… is my make up that ugly?” Umiling ako.

“Because you’re too pretty.” Mas iniwas ko lang ang mga mata ko. Nahahawa na ako sa sobrang vocal niya. I heard her giggle.

“If I was… then you should enjoy no scenery but me.” Tiningnan ko siya at nakangiti lang siya. Aish! Parang nanlalambot tuloy ang mga tuhod ko.

“Tigilan mo kasi ang pagtitig sa mga mata ko Xyla.”

“I can’t… I love your eyes… that’s the most adorable eyes I’ve ever seen so I’m taking advantage with the moment that I can still see those eyes.” Ano bang gagawin ko para tigilan niya ang pagtitig sakin? Kinakabahan ako eh. Grabe magwala ‘tong puso ko sa ginagawa niya. And because of awkwardness I feel, I pulled her for a hug.

“Now that’s better.”I whispered. We keep dancing while I’m hugging her. Ang weird ng pakiramdam ko. Tahimik lang kami sa pagsasayaw hanggang marinig ko yung message ko para sa kanya. Natawa nalang ako ng kaunti. Nakakahiya and at the same time, di ko talaga alam ang sasabihin ko non.

“Xyl… just remember one thing okay? Before I let you go… I want you to know that you’re very special to me…” Binitawan ko na siya at walang lingon-lingon akong bumalik sa upuan ko. I look at her and I so her wiping her face. Did she cry?

Xiumin’s POV

“For my lovable Xy-Xy.” She’s still wiping her tears and gets the peony in my hand. Hinawakan ko na siya at isinayaw. This was the first time I dance with a girl maliban nalang nung practice nung isinasayaw ko si Bel. Noong college kasi ako’t highschool, hindi ko tinatanggap ang alok ng mga babaeng gustong magsayaw sakin at wala akong isinayaw maliban sa kaharap ko ngayon.

“Xiumin, do you know what peony you’ve given to me?”

“Uhuh. Raspberry Sundae, bakit?” Ang weird nga ng pangalan ng peony eh. Pero bagay naman yung pangalan dahil mukha talaga siyang sundae. Ang sarap kainin.

“Wala… nagkataon siguro na sayo napunta ‘to… Nagugutom ka na ba Xiu?” Tumango-tango ako. Kanina pa talaga ako nagugutom.

“Just a little bit more wait, okay? Nagugutom narin ako eh. Sabay tayong kakain ha?” Tumango-tango ako’t ngumiti. Bigla niya nalang akong niyakap. Oh, what’s this? Kanina siya ang niyayakap pero ngayon, siya ang yumayakap?

“Xiu… are you tired having me at home?” Nilingon ko siya pero di ko Makita yung mukha niya.

“What are you talking about Xy-Xy? Kahit kailan hindi kami mapapagod na alagaan ka’t makasama ka. You’re one of the reasons why our days and mornings start and end up brighter.”

“Talaga? If I would let you chose between 10 boxes of chocolate truffles and I… anong pipiliin mo?” I smiled and hug her.

“Of course it’s you Xy-Xy… aanhin ko ang 10 boxes ng chocolate truffles kung pagkatapos non ubos na? But if I would chose you… hindi lang 10 boxes ang makukuha ko. It’s more than or for a life time.” Hinampas niya ako ng mahina pero tumawa rin.

“Ang takaw mo talaga Xiu. I’m sure kanina mo pa pinag-iinteresan yung cake ano?” I giggled.

“Pwede bang blowing of candles na at cake slicing?” She just giggled. I kiss her head.

“Lagi mo lang tatandaan Xy-Xy… mawala na lahat ng pagkain, wag lang ikaw. You’re worth more than anything else and I love you.”

Lay’s POV

“Bel, ayos lang ba ang buhok ko? Yung tie ko?”

“Lay, ulit-ulit nalang tayo? Nakaunli ka ba ha? Patext nga para ulit-ulit ko nalang itetext na, oo, maayos ang buhok mo at ang tie mo. Parang magsasayaw ka lang naman tapos daig mo pa yung ikakasal sa kakatanong.” Dalawang katanungan pero ang haba ng isinagot.

“Hoy, ikaw na.” Siniko niya ako kaya napatayo ako bigla at nangangatog ang tuhod na linapitan ang prinsesa habang nagsisimulang tumugtog ang kanta.

“Oooh… Chestine Gowdy.” Kinuha niya sa kamay ko yung peony at siya pa mismo naglagay ng kamay ko sa likod niya. Nakakahiya. Para akong nababato sa kinatatayuan ko. She’s too stunning and shining in my eyes.

“Sorry.” We both said. I chuckled awkwardly.

“So all this time that was the secret that Tao’s telling? Pinahirapan niyo ako for how many days tapos… malalaman ko na dahil lang yon dito? You’re…” I heard her sniffing… Aish! Umiiyak na naman siya.

“Xyla, hey… don’t cry… baka isipin ng Papa mo inaaway kita.”

“Let Papa think that then. Nakakaasar ka. Nakakaasar kayo. Pwede niyo naman kasing sabihin di ba? Don’t you know how hard for me waking up everyday that I wouldn’t see even a single soul of you guys in the house? It feels so exhausted. Ni walang good bye, good morning, kain ka na, kamusta, hi, hello even a single word like… Xyla… you just keep in silent…” I feel guilty. Ganon ba siya nasaktan? Nasobrahan ba yung pag-iwas namin?

“Xyla… tahan na please…” Umiiyak lang siya. Wala na akong nagawa kundi yakapin siya.

“Naguiguilty ka na ba Lay?” Tiningnan niya ako at puno lang ng luha ang mga mata niya.

“Good. At least naguilty ka di ba?” Huh! Eh? Tumawa nalang ako ng bahagya ganon din siya’t patuloy ko nalang siyang isinayaw habang magkayakap kami. This girl can’t fail to make me smile.

Xyla’s POV

After knowing that from Lay, nakaramdam ako ng konting tuwa, inis and mixed emotions. That’s the reason why they keep ignoring me? Aish!

“Hey there twin.” Napalingon ako sa gilid ko’t nakita ko si Xylo na may hawak na Fairys Retticoal. I get it from him and soon we start dancing.

“So… you know it from the start but you hide it from me too?”

“Uhh… hehe.” He grinned but I’m giving him a piercing look.

“You know what I hate the most Laurence, yung pinaglilihiman ako.”

“But you know that it won’t be a surprise anymore if anyone told you.” Oo nga naman di ba? Bumuntong hininga nalang ako.

“May utang ka sakin ha?”

“Oo na… babayaran ko nalang pagkatapos ng araw na ‘to.”

“Make it sure.” Tumango-tango naman siya’t hinalikan ang pisngi ko.

“Laurence, come back here! Give me that chick!”

“Hahaha! Try to get it from me Laur!” Parehas kaming napatingin sa screen. Oh, I remember that moment. That was when we were kids. Nagkatinginan lang kami ni Laurence pero patuloy kaming sumasayaw habang pinapanood yung video.

“You wouldn’t give it? Then fine. It’s yours. Don’t talk to me Laurence. I hate you!”Natawa ako ng konti sa itsura ni Xylo sa video na yan. I was just acting like I’m mad at him that time.

“Laur… here’s your chicky chick chick… Please get it. I don’t want it anymore. If you’ll hate me because of this tiny little creature then I wouldn’t like it. It’s yours. Here.” Inaabot niya sakin yung sisiw pero tinitingnan ko lang siya ng masama.

“I said it’s yours Laurence and it’s final.”

“But…”

“I said don’t talk to me. I hate you remember? Oh… I think I need to tell Papa to transfer me to a new school so I wouldn’t see your ugly face anymore.”Napayuko lang si Xylo habang hawak yung sisiw.

“Nakakaasar ka diyan Laur.” Xylo said. Patuloy parin kami sa pagsasayaw pero nanunuod kami. I giggled.The little Laurence then started sniffing and end up crying. Mas natawa ako habang si Xylo naman ay namumula na sa sobrang hiya.

“Sino bang nagvideo niyan? Nagmumukha tuloy akong iyakin.” He murmured but I keep laughing same as the guests. The Little Laurene then smiled and laugh as she comes closer to little Laurence who was crying. She then hug him.

“Hey cry baby, stop crying. I’m just kidding you know? How could I hate you for that little creature? How could I leave you for that thing? You know you’re not ugly. If you’re ugly then I am. But telling you the truth Laurence, I’m too drowned for the word, prettiest and other positive compliments so you better wipe those tears or I totally hate you.” He then wiped her tears. I smiled.

“Now that’s good. I love you Laurence… remember that.” Still the little Laurence was sniffing.

“I love you too Laur. Promise me you’ll never hate me okay?”

“I won’t promise because promises are meant to be broken so I would rather do it then.” I heard the crowd say ‘awww’… I look at Laurence.

“You we’re such a pathetic when we were kids Laurence.” He pouted so I chuckled. I hug him as we stop dancing and he even turns me around.

“Oy, stop it…” Hininto niya naman atsaka ako hinalikan sa pisngi at niyakap bago tuluyang umalis. Napangiti nalang ako.

“Hey…”
