Xyla’s POV

D*mn that stupid moron! Do I need to pack all my things on Yaya’s house now? Aish! Sakit sa ulo.

“Xyla!” Napaharap ako sa gilid at nakita kong palapit sakin si Laurence.

“What do you need Xylo?”

“Can I go with you?” Napaisip ako sa sinabi niya.

“I think you should really come.”

“Why?”

“XYLA! /XANDRIA! /LALA!” Sabay kaming napatingin sa likod at nakita ko sila. They all stop in front of us and I can’t read what they’re thinking.

“Broes!” Bati sa kanila ni Laurence pero seryoso lang silang nakatingin.

“Call your butler and tell him to drive Snoe.”

“Huh?”

“Just call Butler Slate.” Tinawagan niya naman yon at agad ding dumating. Nakipagpalit ako ng susi at tinungo namin kung saan nakapark yung limo.

“Get in all of you.” I eyed at those guys together with Nerdy, Mey, Treshia and Creature. Mga nakatayo’t nakatingin lang silang lahat. Ano bang hinihintay ng mga ‘to? Taon?

“I said get in the freaking d^mn car!” Sigaw ko kaya’t nag-unahan silang lahat na sumakay.

“Laurence, what are you still standing there? Hop in or I’ll leave you.” We both get in the car and I drive it out of the Acad. I’m serious driving while I’m feeling that everyone is looking at me.

“Laur---”

“Zip your mouth all of you and wait till we arrive at home. I don’t want to waste my saliva answering your good d^mn individual questions.” Walang nagsalita hanggang marating namin yung bahay ni Yaya. Pumasok ako’t nakasunod lang silang lahat. I think Laurence feel something kaya hindi na siya nagtanong.

“Uy! Dito na pala kayo, oh, may bisita pala tayo?” Salubong agad samin ni Bel.

“Don’t act stupidly Bel. They already knew.”

“Knew what?”

“The truth about me. Where’s Yaya?” Natulala lang si Bel sandali at sumeryoso rin ang mukha niya.

“Nasa taas.”

“Call her and tell her that I need her down here.” Tumango lang siya’t umakyat. Tiningnan ko silang lahat.

“Why bother to stand up if there’s a seat?” Nagsiupuan naman silang lahat. Mga napakamasunurin naman pala ng mga ‘to eh.

“We’re home!” Napatingin ako sa pinto at isa-isang pumasok sina Suho at yung tatlo pa. Nakangiti pa silang lahat na sumalubong sakin. They was about to give me a hug but I put my hand in front of them stopping them from what they will do.

“Sit down the four of you and keep quiet.” Kumunot naman ang mga noo nila.

“Laurence? Anong ginagawa mo dito?” Tiningnan ko si Laurence.

“Just sit down first you four. No talking, no murmuring okay? I don’t want to hear any sounds coming from all of you.” I was just standing in front of them all. I was just leaning on the side of the railings while crossing my arms. Napatingin ako sa taas ng Makita kong bumababa sina Bel at Yaya. They come close to the others at dahil hindi kasya ay nakatayo nalang din yung iba.

“May meeting ba? Ba’t kailangan andito lahat?” Tanong ni Kai.

“I said no talking right? Shut up or I’ll tape that mouth. No one will talk except from me. Don’t ask, don’t answer and don’t freak out. Patapusin niyo ako bago kayo magsalita.” They keep silent and wait for what I’m going to say. Alam kong naguguluhan yung mga bagong dating.

“First of all I wouldn’t say sorry. Second, I’m not asking for your forgiveness. I didn’t do anything. Maybe hiding something is wrong but it doesn’t mean that it was wrong all the time. It depends on what’s your main reason is. Third, I want you to listen to me carefully.” I paused and sighed. I look at them all. They were just looking at me.

“Xylo come here.” Tumayo naman si Xylo at lumapit sa tabi ko.

“I know it’s a bit confusing for some of you but the truth is… I hide something big from you. Magalit man kayo, ayos lang. I just want you all to know especially those who don’t know anything that I am… I’m Laurene Grayson.” Medyo shock yung apat dahil kararating nga lang nila tapos ito pa madadatnan nila di ba?

“My real name was… Xandria Laurene Salvador Grayson. My stage name was Laurene Grayson. I am Xyla in this house and it’s my real nickname. I was 20 years old turning 21 this December. I’m the daughter of Zhake Grayson and Sherlene Salvador. I’m Xandro Laurence Tolentino Grayson’s twin cousin. We’re an upper class royalties and the Acad’s President was our Uncle at the same time, my godfather.” They keep listening but they were looking at me with serious faces except for Nerdy and Mey who looks like scared.

“Auntie Paz wasn’t my Auntie and I wasn’t her niece. Auntie was my Yaya before. Bel and Yaya knew what the truth is but they help me hide everything. If you’ll get mad at me, don’t involve them. They didn’t do anything; they just do it for me.” I paused for a while. I look at Laurence and he just smiled at me. I felt him back hugging me. I hold his arms.

“Lastly… even if I hide everything about me, about being Laurene, what I’ve showed you is the real me. Wala akong binago sa sarili ko para maging si Xandria. I am being me when I’m at this house. Kung ano ako dito bilang si Xandria, I was like that too being Laurene. Remember when you meet Laurene? I was just pretending not to be Xandria that time even you keep claiming I was Xyla even I really was. I just don’t want anyone else to know me. I don’t like everyone else knew me as Laurene dahil ayokong magbago ang pakikitungo ng lahat sakin. If I would be Laurene, do you think everyone would treat me bad? Do you think everyone would be true to me? They wouldn’t are they? At ayoko kayong idamay sa gulo ng buhay ko.”

“You Allaine, Mey, Treshia and Khier. If I would be Laurene, do you think you can touch me? Do you think you can talk to me the way you do? Hindi di ba? Dahil nag-iiba ang turing nilang lahat kapag ako ay ang kilala ng lahat but when I became a stranger, everyone show their real selves. What my point is… I wasn’t cheating or betraying you. It was just the identity that I hide but wasn’t the real me at all. So if you still can’t get it… then it wasn’t my problem anymore. I’m not hoping to get all your sympathy. I’m just being me right now. If you don’t want me in this house, then I can leave this house right now. That’s all. Excuse us.” I tug Laurence with me upstairs leaving all of them muddled. I then lay on my bed with Laurence sitting beside me.

“It’s okay Xyl, you’ve just being brave.”

“I just felt sad. Maybe they thought that I betrayed them even I don’t. Gusto ko lang din naman silang protektahan sa mga gustong sumira sakin. You know how many enemies our family has. Besides, I’m famous. Our family’s famous. Media will chase them if I strike them to Laurene’s life.” I look at the ceiling.

“Leaving with them all and meeting the others was the happiest day of my life Xylo. I admit that I’ve became much happier than when I was lock up on the palace. A princess that was raise on the castle and been locked at the top of the sealed tower was once find a bright place to have you can call friends. They were just the one I trusted except for Bel and the family’s trusted operatives. I’ve felt so much safety around them, Xylo. And I didn’t mean to hurt them if they were hurt. Life was just a mixed up of things. You need to hold into the waves of it or else, you’ll be drowned.”
