Chapter 19

I took a deep breath, trying to not look like I had just run across the whole camp. I just finished sprinting from the Aphrodite cabin to the Hades cabin. My hair and makeup were perfect, thanks to the Aphrodite girls.

I knocked on the door a couple of times. I'm so nervous I can already feel my hands starting to sweat.

I heard shuffling from behind the door and then it opened. Nico was standing there in a black t-shirt with a skull on it, and black ripped jeans. His hair was all messy, it looked soft, and I had the strange urge to pat it down, but I resisted.

"Hey," Nico said cooly.

I looked inside, passed Nico to see a dark room illuminated by what looked like a TV screen.

"Hey!" I replied, "may I come in?"

"Oh, yeah, of course, sorry," he said shyly and stepped aside.

At least I'm in comfortable clothes now. The Aphrodite girls did well on choosing an Apollo themed outfit. A white t-shirt with a yellow sun on the front and blue jeans with a sun embroidered on to the back pocket. I walked inside and took a look around the room.

The Hades cabin wasn't as bright as the Apollo cabin, but that was to be expected. The walls were painted black and glowed faintly purple. Probably enchanted with magic, or maybe it's just purple crystals embedded into the walls, both are cool ideas. I looked around, the furniture was made out of dark oak wood. There were a few bunk beds on the right side of the room, only two beds looked like they'd ever been used. The bottom bunk was all messy like it had never been made, it had a black comforter and grey sheets with skulls on them. The top bunk was nice and neat, with a deep purple colored comforter and golden sheets. I can only assume the bottom bed is Nico's and the top bed is Hazel's when she visits. There were several drawings of horses hanging on the wall by Hazel's bed. She is a very talented artist.

There was a shiny wooden coffee table in the middle of the room with a 6 pack of Coca-Cola, a bowl of tortilla chips, three small bowls filled with salsa, queso, and guacamole, and two Wii controllers. On the left side of the room was a big entertainment stand with a big flat-screen TV on top. There were many gaming consoles, including a Wii, an Xbox 1S, a PS4, and a Switch. I could even see a gaming PC tucked away in one of the cubbies.

"I didn't know what games you liked, so I thought we'd start with something easy," Nico explained as he walked over to the TV and set up the Wii, he then pulled out a CD case and showed it to me. "Mariokart Wii," one of the simplest yet challenging games. A game that I pride myself on being good at.

"You're on," I said excitedly.

Back at the Apollo cabin

A young demigod is sitting on her bed, typing on her laptop.

"Come on! Hurry up!" whined her brother, Will.

"You take forever to update, Juls."

"Hey, I have more to my life than writing this story," she snapped and glared at him.

"Yeah, but if you don't write the story, then it won't happen, that's how your gift works."

"Yeah yeah, I know."

I was born with the gift of prophecy, but it wasn't just seeing the future, no, I could write the future. Anything I write happens. Will has been pushing me to keep writing so that Nico can find love again. Of course, he's the only one who knows about my gift, and I plan to keep it that way.

_______________

Heya, I'm finally back with an update. I know it's not much, but it's better than nothing. I hope I can get back into writing this more. I have a lot of ideas for this story. I want it to be an enjoyable read for everyone. That's all for now.

Bye, my lovelies.
