Nico's POV.

I rushed down from the cabins to the archery field. I was running as fast as I could. What was all the commotion about? Has someone been claimed? Is it Y/N?

As I finally got to the archery field, I locked eyes with her. Y/N, she was standing in the middle of the crowd of people, and up above her head was a glowing golden lyre. The symbol of Apollo. She had a huge smile on her face. There was a beam of sunlight directly on her, like a spotlight, making her h/c hair shine, and her e/c eyes sparkle.

Chiron was already there, he yelled, "All hail, Y/N L/N, daughter of Apollo, the god of music, medicine, poetry, and master of the sun." Everyone bowed, including me.

I saw Will looking at Y/N, he was smiling. He ran up and hugged her. "I knew it, I just knew you'd be a daughter of Apollo!" She smiled up at him, "I guess you were right." She said, happily.

I think I'm in love with her smile.

Y/N's POV.

I don't know how it happened, I was just showing up Will, he said that he could shoot more targets than I could. After about 4 bullseye's from me, and none from him. For a son of Apollo, he's a pretty bad shot. But after I shoot my forth, everything got really bright, like someone was shining a light on me. I heard running and cheering, I saw Nico running to see what happened. I heard Chiron announce that I was a daughter of Apollo. Then I felt my ribs being crushed by my new brother, Will.

"I knew it, I just knew you'd be a daughter of Apollo!" I smiled at him, "I guess you were right." I don't know if he ever said I was a daughter of Apollo or not, but I didn't say that. I was so happy.

I looked around and spotted Nico, he was still watching, it looked like he was grinning. "Excuse me, Will," I said, politely. Then I made my way over to Nico.

"H-hey," I stammered.
"Hi," he said, looking like he was trying to think of things to say.
"So, you're a daughter of Apollo now? That's cool," he said, casually.
"Y-yeah, I guess," Why can't I talk normally around him?
"So, I was wondering, you don't have to, but do you want to hang out later?"  He asked while scratching the back of his head, awkwardly.
"Sure!" I said, a little too eagerly, but he didn't seem to care, his face lit up.
"Really? Okay, how about we hang out in my cabin? I got an Xbox1S if you like that kind of thing?" He looked so happy, I couldn't say no to video games with Nico di Angelo.
"Sure, but I'll beat you at any game," I sounded more confident than I felt.
"Oh, you're on! How about you meet me at 3:00 pm?" He asked, now he was excited.
"I'll be there," I confirmed.
"Great," then he walked away.

It's 1:00 pm already. I got plenty of time.

Wait.......

Is this going to be......

Like a date.....?

I took off running to cabin 1. "ALYSSA!!!" I yelled as I ran through the doorway. "What?" She asked, very confused about what I was yelling about. "Nico just asked if I could hang out at his cabin and play videogames," I said, jumping up and down. "Really? Like a date? That's awesome!" She said, now jumping up and down too.

"I've got two hours, I got to go get ready, and take my stuff to the Apollo cabin," I told her, then I left. "Good luck!" She called after me.

I happily skipped all the way to the Hermes cabin to pack up my things.

Yay! Nico took Piper's advice, sort of. Well, at least Y/N will get to spend more time with him, and Nico will get a chance to know more about her.
