Nico's P.O.V.

So, I was sent to rescue some new demigods at a school, no problem. In fact, that was the easy part. The hard part was finding out that they knew everything about me, and my past. Including past relationships. Look, just cause I liked Percy, and dated Will, doesn't mean I'm 100% not into girls. If anything, I'm bi.

The hardest part was that girl, (Y/N), who knows about my past and probably doesn't want anything to do with me. Plus she's kinda, how would Leo say it? Hot? Yeah, she's kinda hot. I haven't talked to her, except for the rare occasion. I don't like talking to people in general, they seem to already label me as a "creepy weirdo" because I'm a son of Hades. I don't want (Y/N) to think that about me. So, I just watch from a safe distance. She seems nice from our brief conversations. She's really smart and funny, but only ever talks to Alyssa or Justin. I can sense that she's had a rough life. I can relate. It makes sense that she would only talk to people she is familiar with.

I hope I can get the nerve to talk to her. I need help. I need to talk to someone who knows about this stuff. I need to talk to Piper.

Do I have a crush on (Y/N)?

I knocked on the Aphrodite cabin, hoping Piper was inside, and not Drew. Luckily, Piper opened the door. "Oh! Hi, Nico! What's up?" She asked cheerfully.

"Hey, Pipes. Can I come in?" I asked her, politely.

"Sure thing, what can I do for you?" She asked as she led me inside.

She sat down, on what I assumed was her bed, and I sat down next to her.

"Well, there is this girl," "Girl?" Piper stopped me midsentence, now very interested.

"Who is she? Do you like her? Does Nico have a crush?" She asked so many questions it was hard to keep up.

"Well, her name is (Y/N), and I think I might have a tiny crush on her," I confessed.

Piper squealed. I had never seen this side of her, I've always known her as 'Die in the name of love!' kind of girl.

It's refreshing, seeing the Aphrodite side of her.

"Okay, well, have you talked to her about it?" She asked, getting serious now.

"Well, that's the hard part. I don't want her to think I'm a freak," I said.

"Oh my gods, Nico! I know she already likes you," she said, excitedly.

"What? How do you know that?" I inquired, curiously.

"It's the Aphrodite in me. I just know these things," she replied.

"Okay, sounds legit. So, do you think I should ask her out?" I suggested.

She gasped, "Oh gods, no! At least not yet. You need to get to know her. She already knows everything about you, but you don't really know anything about her. What you need to do is get to know her. Talk to her, be her friend. Then if you still like her, ask her out."

"Okay, so now all I have to do is talk to her," I sighed.

"You can do it, Nico. You are the bravest demigod I've ever met," she encouraged.

"Thanks, pipes."

"Anytime."

I thanked Piper again as I left the Aphrodite cabin. Maybe I'll see Y/N.

Then I noticed a crowd of people at the archery field, and at the center was a beam of bright light.
