Wow! Justin is so lucky! Being claimed on the first day. That's rare! I hope (Y/N) and I will be claimed soon too. It's only a matter of time. I'll be claimed by Demeter for sure, that's what all the quizzes say on Playbuzz, anyway. My favorite character (second to Nico di Angelo) is Meg McCaffrey, after all. She is the youngest and is almost at the same level as Percy's butt-kick, awesomeness. Who would have thought that plants could be scary?

I mean, sure, any of them would be cool to have as a parent, but I would love to be a daughter of Demeter. Just think, being able to make vines grow with a snap of my fingers. So cool. Or maybe summon a grain spirit. Like Peaches.

"EARTH TO ALYSSA!" (Y/N) was snapping her fingers in front of my face.

We were sitting together at the campfire.

"WHAT!?!" I said back.

"What are you so deeply thinking about?" (Y/N) asked, dragging out the 'ee' in deeply.

"Oh, just about Justin and stuff," I said casually.

"Ooooh, does Aly have a crush on Justin???" She asked in a playful tone.

"What? Gods no!" I yelled, slightly louder than I meant. Just as Justin walked past us.

"What are you guys talking about?" He asked us, curiously.

"Nothing!" I yelled, before (Y/N) could say otherwise.

Justin's cute, but not my type.

I heard a gasp from some of the campers, and they all looked right at me.

"Uh, Alyssa...." (Y/N) pointed up above my head, where a glowing eagle floated above my head.

The mark of Zeus. I thought, but that can't be right. There must have been a mistake on Olympus or something. Right?

Chiron said loudly, "Hail Alyssa Goodnight, daughter of Zeus. King of the gods, master of lightning, and ruler of the heavens!" And then he bowed, and the rest of the campers followed his example.

I just stood there in shock.

I looked at the crowd of people, then at (Y/N), at Justin, I promptly blacked out from nerves.

I know this is short, and kinda a twist, but I've been having writer's block and needed to add a plot twist. Comment what you think will happen next, does Alyssa have feelings for Justin? Does Justin have feelings for Alyssa? And where is Nico? Find out next time.
