Chapter one
Hogwarts, December 1st, 1994
A woman with long brown hair and blue eyes walked down the hallway in heels and a long blue dress covered by a robe. She walked into a classroom and frowned as she saw her students all out of their seats.
"Every one in your seats!" She ordered.
She walked up to her desk and put her books down.
"Alright class today we will be talking about famous wizards." She said calmly.
"Mrs. Black do you know anything about any famous female wizards?" Hermione Granger asked softly.
"Well.... yes I do, during the year 1926 there was a woman who was very famous." She said softly.
"What for?" Harry Potter asked.
"Because she did something no one else would." She said with a smile.
"What was it?"
"Her name was Muriel when she became famous she was just twenty years old. She was one of the youngest teachers at Hogwarts. At the age of eighteen she took over.... Well History." She said with a chuckle.
"So she taught History like you?" Ron Weasley asked.
"Yes, but she was more interested in DADA, but at that time Headmaster Dumbledore taught that class." She explained.
"So are you going to tell why she was famous or not?" Draco Malfoy asked annoyed.
"Well..... I have to start from the beginning. Muriel was born in the year 1906 to a half blood wizard and a pure born witch named Amelia Bagman. Muriel's mother would pass away when she was just a year old, leaving her to be raised by her father well adopted father. She would move to Hogwarts at the age of six, not being a student until the age eleven. She graduated at the age of sixteen, and became the youngest teacher at age eighteen."
"But who was her father?" Hermione asked softly.
"I will get there, give me time. Now, Muriel practically lived at Hogwarts most of her life, and so her father had her leave and travel with one of his students, who had graduated a couple years before her." Mrs. Black said with a smile.

"Alright then to page 390 in your books." I said softly.
"Oh no, not her again." One of the students groaned.
"Rowena Ravenclaw was one of the four founders of Hogwarts." I said softly.
"Not to be rude Professor but we already know about her."
"Do you know about her daughter? The daughter who stole her Diadem?" I asked with a smile.
They looked at me shocked and I smiled softly.
"Helena Ravenclaw, was the only child of Rowena Ravenclaw. She became jealous of her mother and so she stole her diadem, and her mother ashamed of it, hid it from the world. When Rowena was on her death bed she sent for a man to go and bring her daughter home..... the man was in love with Helena so he had no problem.... but when he found her she didn't love him and so he-"
"Professor.... sorry to disturb you, but your father needs to speak to you." McGonagall said softly.
"Of course. I will finish the story later. McGonagall could you watch them and make sure they read pages 390 through 410." I said softly.
I made my way to my fathers classroom and walked in to see him writing notes down.
"You are going to New York, with Newt Scamander." He said when I stopped at the edge of his desk.
"Why must I go to New York?" I asked angrily.
"Muriel you need to know about the world, and you can't do that here." My father said as he looked at his papers.
"I have classes I have to take care of."
"I have already talked to the Headmaster and he will be having someone take over, it will only be a couple of days." He said calmly.
"This isn't fair! I am one of the greatest teachers here and you are forcing me to leave to go adventuring with someone I know nothing about!"
"Newt Scamander was a excellent student when I taught here, now.... you are going with him and that is final." He said as he handed me a paper.
I looked down and let and groaned as I saw it was my passport. He soon sent me to get packed and I let out a sigh as I looked at my suitcase.
"Okay.... I can do this.... it's just one trip.... what could go wrong?" I asked as I started packing.
Soon I had finished packing and I made my way to the front of the school. I saw my father talking to Newt and I sent him a frown.
"Good to see you Muriel..... hopefully we can get to know each other on this trip." Newt said calmly.
"Keep her safe." My dad said as I pushed past him.
"I will." Newt said as he followed behind me and carried one of my bags.
Soon we made it to the ship that would take us to New York and I held my breath as I followed Newt onto the ship. Soon the ship took off and after about five days of being stuck on the ship we arrived. I held my breath as we handed our passports over and after getting our bags checked left to see New York.

"So why didn't she want to go?" Hermione asked confused.
"Muriel didn't like going places. She liked staying at Hogwarts and teaching. She loved being with the people there and she knew everything about this school..... she knew nothing about the outside world." Mrs. Black explained.
"So when will we learn why she was so important?" Ron asked calmly.
"Well it will have to be another day, because we are out of time." She said with a smile.
"Oh come on!" They whined.
"You all have potions next, so hurry up. Don't keep Professor Snape waiting." Mrs. Black said calmly.
The class all groaned as they collected their supplies and left. Mrs. Black smiled as she cleaned up and then left to grade a few tests. She heard a knock on her door and looked up to see Headmaster Dumbledore.
"It is lunch time." He said calmly.
"I did his every time, sorry Headmaster." She said with a chuckle.
"It is fine Amelia, so I heard from some of the students that you are telling them about Muriel." He said with a smile.
"They asked about a famous witch..... and I know that I always loved hearing about her."
"And I always loved telling you about her." He said calmly.
He walked out of the room and Amelia smiled as she stood up and followed him to lunch.
