So they dashed through the crowded halls to get to their elective. Steven was running so fast that he didn't watch or pay attention to where he was going and then he bumped hard into another fellow student which caused him to accidently summon his bubbled shield. Steven found himself sitting on top of a boy who he didn't recognize.  Steven scrambled to get up.

Steven-- awhhh i'm so sorry I didn't mean to I was running so fast and I-- 

Steven was blushing in embarrassment as he realized everyone was watching and he didn't even Samantha Jones had witness the event. What would people think of him being a hybrid? What would they do or say??? He was terrified because he accidently attacked another student and summoned his bubbled shield... He was going to be in so much trouble... 

All the students were terrified and also in awe as they stare at the huge pink crystalline bubble shield. Some of their jaws drop to the floor. As they stared at the boy wide eyed. Steven slowly dismiss his bubble and try to help the student to his feet but the student slap his hand away. causing Steven to yelp in pain and the angry student walked away. Connie didn't say anything and grabbed his hand it was bad enough that Connie had watched her friend get caught now they were late to their elective class. Connie truly didn't have anything to say. She was at lost for words. She was speechless. What was Steven going to tell his dad and the Gems? What was Connie going to tell her parents? Right now nothing matter what mattered was getting to their elective class...

Ms. Hill-- Your late! do you have a late pass on you?

Connie-- No ma'am i'm sorry my friend here was running so fast that he accidently bumped into another student and got hurt but we tried to rush to get here on time as quickly as we could ma'am.  

at least that was partial of the full truth she wasn't going to tell her about the bubble shield part cause she didn't want her friend to get in trouble...

*Ms. hill rolled her eyes* 

Ms. hill   hmmm... very well come in and sit down.
