Trampoline!

"Can we? Can we? Can we?!" Tubbo bounced tugging at the older and pointing to the large cardboard box.

It took about 10 minutes of convincing before Dream caved and they got the trampoline.

They dropped the box with a bit of a problem into the grass.
They were gonna need help.

That's for sure.

Still, they ignored it and tried opening the box.

That was their first problem. They couldn't.

At least, not without a pocket knife.

Tubbo mapped out where he wanted it, near their fence that looked into their neighbor's backyard.
Dream wasn't entirely pleased with it but ignored the feeling in factor of making Tubs happy.

So they pried it all out laying it on the grass.

They tried doing it and found it was surprisingly hard.
"We might need a hammer just to get these guys in," Dream commented.

Still, they managed.

Somehow they did it the hardest way possible.
Always got to make it hard for yourselves, aye?

They had everything connected and now they needed to flip the trampoline over. So, as if it wasn't an awful idea that they hadn't thought out, they carefully raised the metal frame of the trampoline onto its side and began to descend it down to Tubbo.

This is when their backdoor neighbors jumped the fence and ran to help them not crush the small teenager.
The shorter, raven-haired boy, with a blue zip-up and blue beanie, stood beside Tubbo grabbing the side to ease it down better.
The other with a very colorful hoodie and brown hair took the side with Dream.

Both cautiously helped lower it with a huff.
"Kill a child will you?" The one by Dream huffed.
Both laughed almost nervously at the man.

"Need any more help?" The ravenette asked.
"Nah, we're good," Dream chuckled.
They 2 went to leave but quickly stopped when Tubbo called out to them.

"Hold up!" He called.
Both turned back around.
"What's your names?" Tubbo asked.
"Quackity at your service!" The black-haired boy announced, adjusting his beanie.
"Karl Jacobs," the brown-haired boy nodded sweetly.

They climbed back over the fence and as they left Quackity called out, "sorry for trespassing to save your lives!"
This earned a good amount of laughter.

Later, they returned just as they were hooking the springs in the most aggravating and time-wasting way.
This time though Sapnap and George had joined them.

"Need any help?" Quackity joked as he watched as they tried pulling out the poor fabric of the trampoline to connect it to the springs.
It looked like it hurt.

Tubbo went flying backward and they chuckled, almost angrily.
"Sure," Sap laughed.
So they once more broke into their back yard.

They all moved back, ready to help just in case, while they moved over.
"Help me set out the tarp while we wait?" Quackity offered.
Sap took it easily and Tubbo carefully joined.

"Don't they need our help?" Tubb9 asked.
"Oh, no. This part is really a 2 person job at most, don't worry about it," Quackity assured as Karl hooked the springs with far more ease than they were, only needing Dream to keep it steady as he pulled the spring from the loop on the trampoline to the outer ring.

It went by far quicker this time.
It left them feeling kinda useless honestly.
Still, it left them with the dilemma of how to get the spring covering on.

"We're going to need to take the netting and stuff down," Karl explains, meanwhile Quackity was yelling stuff like; "Abra Kadabra!" And "Bippity Boppity Boo!" At it.

They took the netting down, settling it on the trampoline. They put the mat down and put the bars back up.
Dream and George at one, Tubbo and Quackity at one, Karl and Sapnap at another, moving to set up the other ones when needed.

By the time the thing was set up the sun was halfway down the sky.
Tubbo immediately dragged the other shortest, Quackity, onto the trampoline.

"George, join the short squad!" Tubbo proclaimed.
"I'm taking a nap, have fun," George yawned leaving to go inside.
Dream followed close after.

Sap and Karl sat on fairly old swings.
Sap on an old tire swing connected to a large tree and Karl on an old 2 swings set connected to a clearly hand-built treehouse.
It was decently made though so no complaining here.

They watched as Quackity slipped and Tubbo accidentally tripped over him.
They watched as they wobbled up to their feet and continued bouncing until Tubbo sat, exhausted, in the center of the trampoline.
They watched in slight horror as, with all his strength and a glint in his eyes, Quackity jumped right beside the younger sending him flying into the air with a startled scream and laughter.

The sun went down far quicker between Quackity and Tubbo's trampoline abuse and Karl and Sapnap's lame excuse for "not flirting".

By the time they climbed back over the fence into their yard, it was more night than it was day.
They returned inside, obtaining the takeout that George had ordered, and settled around Sap's computer to watch a movie.

A very familiar movie.

But why was it so familiar?

Again, the questions remained ignored and unanswered. However, there was a sneaking suspicion that it once again had something to do with what he could almost remember.
