Chapter 11

*Adrien/Chat Noir's POV*

Chat Noir jumped down from the window to his room, detransforming and landing on his bed. He was thinking of someone, to be exact, Ladybug.

She was in the same situation as him. She had two kids, was divorced, and her spouse cheated on her. He balled his hand into a fist just thinking about him. Who in their right mind would cheat on Ladybug? Well... not Ladybug...her civilian form....

"Camembert," Plagg said, floating around Adrien's head. "Seriously?" Adrien asked, getting drawn out of his thoughts.

"Yes, seriously," Plagg said, using the same tone as Adrien. "I need my Camembert! My love,"

"Alright, alright, Plagg," Adrien said. He looked through one of his drawers and found the new box of Camembert he had ordered. He gave Plagg a small piece.

"So that's where you hide the Camembert..." Plagg said, eating the piece of Camembert Adrien had given him in a gulp.

"Don't even think about it," Adrien warned, pointing his finger at Plagg.

Adrien suddenly heard a noise from outside of his room. He instinctively ran out of his room to see what was wrong and saw the light in Louis's bedroom on.

Adrien opened the door to find Louis sitting on his bed reading a book. "Louis!" Adrien exclaimed. "It's midnight!"

Louis yawned, rubbing his eye. "It is?"

"Yes, it is," Adrien said, "But at least tomorrow's a weekend. You better go to sleep, Louis,"

"Alright, Dad," Louis said and put his book on his bedside. Adrien turned off the light, "Goodnight, Louis,"

"Goodnight, Dad," was heard as Adrien closed the door.

Adrien walked back in his room to find the box of Camembert empty as Plagg ate a piece. "Plagg!" Adrien said, grabbing the piece Plagg was about to eat.

"What?" Plagg asked, innocently. "You know very well, Plagg," Adrien said.

"No, I don't," Plagg said. Adrien just sighed.

Pagg started signing, changing the topic. "Ladybug and Chat Noir sitting in a tree. K-I-S-S-I-"

"Stop it, Plagg," Adrien said, cutting him off. Adrien was slightly red, but Plagg didn't care.

"-N-G. First, comes love, then comes marriage-"

"Plagg," Adrien warned, turning more red by the second, but Plagg didn't stop.

"-Then comes a baby in a baby carriage." Plagg finished.

Adrien was a deep red now, "Plagg!" He yelled, trying to grab the mischevious Kwami, but failed in doing so.

"You love her," Plagg said, stressing the love part. Adrien tried to grab him again, but failed and Plagg flew away laughing.

Adrien could've argued with Plagg, but whatever he would have said would have come out as a lie, and besides, Plagg flew away from him.

Adrien turned to look out his window, staring off into the distance. He still had feelings for Ladybug. But, he knew that this time, this time he would not fail. Ladybug would love him and even the universe couldn't tear them apart.

*Louis's POV*

"He's gone," Louis whispered to Emma who was under the bed. Emma crawled out from under. "Why do you think he was outside, Louis?" Emma asked.

"I have no idea," Louis admitted.

"Think about it, everything is closed at midnight, there are only a few reasons why he would even be out there at this time., Emma said.

"He could be taking a walk," Louis said.

"If he is, why is he taking a walk?" Emma questioned. "And why did he not go out through the door?"

"Maybe he didn't want to wake us up?" Louis said, not sure himself. Emma did have a point, but someone had to side with their dad.

The two suddenly heard a noise from their father's room and turned their heads in that direction. "Plague!" Their father yelled out.

Emma and Louis both immediately turned to face each other once more. "What in the world was that?" Emma said. "I have no idea," Louis replied. "It could have something to do with science,"

"Our Dad is pretty weird," Emma said. Louis agreed with her, nodding.

Emma changed the topic. "Remember the note we got?"

Of course, Louis thought, Who could ever forget a note stating that their family was meant to stay together?

"Remember the instructions?" Emma said. Louis nodded in reply. The instructions were quite easy, basically, they had to get their parents to fall in love with one another.

"Yes," Louis said, knowing that Emma usually needed a confirmation in order to plan out something.

"We could get them to bump into one another or set them up to meet somewhere," Emma said.

"But wouldn't that make them angry at us?" Louis questioned, getting a deep feeling that Emma's plans were going to lead them somewhere bad.

"They will be angry," Emma said with a grin. "But they couldn't do anything about it."

"Oh no," Louis said, with realization. "You're planning to trap them in the same place together."

Emma grinned mischievously. "Exactly,"

*Marinette's POV*

Marinette sat on her bed, cross-legged, thinking about Chat Noir. He had become less annoying, that was for sure.

He went through the same thing she did, had similar experiences like her. His partner even cheated on him as well!

Again, Marinette thought, Why would someone cheat on Chat Noir? That is like the most stupid thing to ever do. He's kind, brave, loyal, and funny too.

Speaking of Chat Noir, Marinette smiled, thinking about their old adventures together and how things had changed. It was like yesterday when Chat Noir was making annoying puns to Stormy Weather, and when Ladybug had kissed him. Marinette blushed, just thinking of that moment.

Tikki flew in front of her face. "Marinette, you're thinking of Chat Noir, aren't you?" The Kwami said in her tiny voice.

"Y-yes," Marinette stuttered knowing that nothing could get past Tikki. "Marinette!" Tikki exclaimed. "You love him, don't you?"

Marinette stared out the window, deep in thought. Her feelings for him were all jumbled up, but one thing was for sure. "Yes," Marinette whispered. "I love him."
