Nathen pov.

After we got through the rest of the briefing my fire team, myself, and Hawthorne made our way to our new ship. "Hey hunter." I looked at Hawthorne. "What did they mean by they're sorry to ask you to do this mission? " She asked as my new fire team walked ahead of us.

"Because it's personal." I say walking.

"You got a problem with me guardian?" She asked as we got to the hangar again with Amanda working in a ship part.

"No it's just I never talk about my old life." We got to Amanda as she was obviously still irritated. "Hello Amanda."

"Hey Nate. You better get your ass of a stepdad down here soon or he's gonna have hell to pay." She said while pointing a wrench at me. I nodded as she smiled. "Your shops ready to go guardian." I nodded and made my way over to the ship and walked inside to see a decent sized room with 4 beds, 2 on each side of the ship, a table in the middle with stools under them, a small counter with a fridge next to it, and behind the table was the cockpit with 4 chairs. There was a door that led to a bathroom with a shower.

"Well you guardians know how to travel in style that's for sure." Hawthorne said as she walked over to one of the beds and saw they could be pushed upward. I saw Trish in the pilot seat checking things over on the systems. I saw Jessica setting some beacons on the counter and sat on one of the stools. I walk into the ship and sit down next to Trish as she does a system check.

"How is the check?" I asked as she looked at me.

"We're good to go sir. The coordinates are set and we're ready to rock." I nodded as she smirked.

"Alright everyone find a seat," I call out to Hawthorne and Jessica, "we're going to remnant." They quickly find a seat and Trish puts on a headset.

"We clear mom?" Trish asked then nodded. "Don't worry mom we'll be fine. I promise. I love you too." The ship then started to lift. Seconds later we flew out of the hangar and into the sky. "We're about to make the jump everyone. Hold on." Next thing I knew  the front shield changed from the black abyss of space into a swirling colorful vortex as we flew into hyperspace. We flew through for a few minutes in complete silence which was completely fine with me. But apparently someone had to feel the need to talk.

"So what we're you and Cayde arguing about?" Hawthorne asked as I sighed.

"Do you feel the need to ask so many questions?" I asked looking at the vortex with annoyance.

"Are you going to answer me?" She asked most likely smirking.

"Does this answer your question?" I said then went completely silent doing nothing. The ship went silent again and the vortex turned into black space again but this time showing a moon shattered above a planet that was all to familiar. The ship slowed down excessively and started to fly down towards the planet. "Alright now when we land we're going to land in the forest where Cayde found me. We may be attacked by a black creature called Grimm. They are attracted by negative emotions and are usually easy to kill. Where we are landing is a bit risky but it's the best place for how far it is from the nearest city called Vale." I said all this with no emotion remembering the events that went down there. "Everyone ready?"

Time skip

Ozpin pov.

It was currently the middle of the day with class in session as I sat at my desk watching the sky. I was sipping on some coffee when I saw team RWBY and team JNPR were walking and talking with one another. I smiled when I saw a shadow fly over the courtyard towards the forest. I look up and see a ship unlike any other fly over while slowly decending to the ground. I tilted my head confused. "I'm sure ironwood would have told me he was developing new aircraft." I saw teams RWBY and JNPR staring at the craft before running to my office. I sighed and sat down in my chair waiting for the ding of the elevator. After hearing the ding the 2 teams stumbled out. "Hello how may I help you children?" I asked already knowing.

"Ashipflewovertheschoolandheadedtotheforestwewanttocheckitout!" Ms. Rose said quickly as I smile. I saw miss Schnee give a glare at her leader while miss xiao long was messing with miss belladonna. Mr arc was fidgeting his feet while ms Nikos was whisperng for him to keep calm. Ms.  Valkyrie was bouncing up and down with a look of madness in her eyes. Nothing new there. Mr Ren was standing there calmly.

"Permission granted ms. Rose but be careful I have a feeling that things are going to be very interesting these next few months." The 2 teams ran out and I turned around in my chair and saw the ship landing in the same place as another 10 years ago. "Hmmm. Interesting indeed." I took a sip of coffee and starred at the area with great interest.
