After the miss fairy tail competition and the battle of fairy tail Lucy starts to doubt

herself thinking she is the weakest in the guild and soon leaves the guild seeking power. In her travels she finds out the shocking truth that her mom was the Queen of the angels before fell to earth and married Jude. So Lucy starts training to become the next angel queen when she meets a angel sent to take her to heaven .
